Me too! I love the original but this is superb, love the "keyboards/synth" although I can't see the keys player....is it maybe the Bass player with pedals? A la Geddy Lee? Either way....brilliant!
dread zeppelin is one of the greatest band's of all time ever !!! I'm completely shocked they were not more successful then they were that's a total shame because elvis mixed with zeppelin and reggae music is pure genius and they are all excellent extremely good musicians as well !!! long live dread zeppelin !!!
No shit its 2018 and im just getting into them,i remember hearing something ny them decade ago but never followed up especially because im into everything from ska to Zappa to jazz to Alice Cooper
Meh, music of any era is pretty much the same, 99% of it is crap. The great thing about looking back to old music is most of the crap has been weeded out, and you're pretty much left with what was good.
When Un Leded came out I worked in a Virgin Megastore where the staff chose what played in store ..played that album all day everyday for weeks ..pleased to see they're still going
This could have happened!. Kashmir was recorded in '74. Elvis lived until '77, and an early example of reggae in pop music was a Beatles song from '68. But it took these guys to put it all together.
Greg Tortel stayed in the hotel I worked at in Stockholm. Greg requested room service to bring some food. When the room door opened he was wearing a full body bunny pyjama/costume.
I remember seeing an advertisement for one of their albums way back in 1991. Heart Breaker I heard in the ad and laughed my ass off. Friggin Genius band.
the vibrato in that vocal - that shit is right on, timed to the beat, like all the Sun guys learned to do - and these cats were a pleasure to meet here in 'Scotia c. 1993
Not only a brilliant idea music wise, but for any muso at any level who's ever played in a band ; the biggest rush is when the jam gets to the fun part. These guys seemed to have worked that out pretty quick.
Silly Simon met a band named Dread Zeppelin. Was tripping and laughing so hard I damn near simultaneously combusted. RIP DZ. You were a Trippindicular ball
Hey, some of the word's biggest bands come out of Pasadena. It's a hotbed of tallent. The cauldron of cool. The den of delinquents. The town that time forgot!
I’m watching this in 2024. Man has got a voice. Wow
Metoo! 2:40
As a singer, I can confirm. Pretty amazing technique
For these men to imagine this concept is impressive in itself, but to skillfully enact it is amazing.
when a cover band becomes art in it's own right.
Improvised parody cover band! The best 👌
I'm THE biggest Zep fan ever to cross the Misty Mountains and Dread Zep receives my endorsement
Robert Plant named them the official Led Zeppelin tribute band.
Why can't I not stop watching these guys?
I'm glad they suddenly came up in my feed, great band!
Me too! I love the original but this is superb, love the "keyboards/synth" although I can't see the keys player....is it maybe the Bass player with pedals? A la Geddy Lee? Either way....brilliant!
@fintimwhimbim Guy on keys is far stage left. Really makes the song.

This could have happened!. Kashmir was recorded in '74. Elvis lived until '77, and an early example of reggae in pop music was a Beatles song from '68. But it took these guys to put it all together.
