Rachel I want to report that last night I made the chicken thighs from this video and the potato skins from your video 11 months ago. Both were fantastic! Thank you for the great ideas and the videos. I’m enjoying watching them and learning how to prepare great food with the Ninja Foodi Grill. Thanks again, Rachel..!!!
Excellent video Rachel. After watching this video and a couple of others of yours I subscribed. I have the Foodi Grill, not the XL. Thank you for your hard work. I know these videos are not easy to direct, edit, and publish. You’re doing a great job so far.
I made some thighs using the grill function and they were overcooked trying to get them crispy. I'll try it again your way with the other half of the thighs. Thanks! UPDATE: I made the rest of the chicken your way. Awesome! 🙋🏻♀️
Made thighs following your method in a Foodi Grill XL. Worked perfect, no adjustments. Nice and juicy with crispy skin. I refuse to admit how many I ate though.
The thing that I liked best about this video is not using the air fryer basket and letting them fry on their own. I have done it both ways and because of the device on its own that skin will be crisp, and dark meat chicken (legs and thighs) are always going to be moist and juicy and that skin has to be crispy every time. Thank you once again
I just bought my foodie today and I ran into your channel today love all your foodie recipes thank you I’m following you I need to Learn how to use this ninja foodie xl 6 in one
You don’t have the grill part in. I use the grill then when chkn is done , I remove it to sit for a few. I put potato wedges in the part your using ( the Bake ) tray , in the chicken drippings. It cooks and grills the potatoes and browns them great.
Hi guys, I would like to know how long before grilling it is better to add the spices/marinated, I see in the video that you add the spices just before the grilling, it will be better if you marinated the meat couple hours before or even overnight ?? Thanks a lot for your videos
I leave them on the counter for 20 minutes after seasoning. You can definitely do the spice rub the day before and leave it over night but don’t cover the chicken or the spices will get soggy. When you take them out of the refrigerator to cook, let them sit at room temp for 20 minutes for even cooking.
Just a suggestion, thighs and drumsticks will turn out even better if you take them to 175-185 internal (I sometimes go to 190) because it will let the fat and connective tissue render better
Came out good. I didn't have the thermometer attached to my foodi. Did yours come with it? I cooked mine for 20 mins. Plus I only had the boneless. But, I really liked the taste You're going in my saved recipes ;) Thanks!!!
Spices: 2 tsp Paprika 2 tsp Salt 1.5 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Onion Powder .5 tsp Black Pepper Avocado Oil PS. If you put them on the rack you don't have to flip if you don't want to.
That's a liquid solution that is colored red (it used to be clear and people got confused by it) that's injected into all meats after food processing. All blood is drained from the chicken long before it reaches your refrigerator.

LOL . So glad to hear you liked them :)
Great recipe. I find it easier to coat the chicken by putting them in a large zip lock bag with the spices and shake.

Thanks for the video! Only thing I did different was I added cornstarch because I wanted that skin really crispy and I used the airfryer basket
How did it turn out?
Thank you for the video! I have to try that spice mixture.
Of course anytime. Its so crispy and the flavor is amazing :) Thanks for watching
I used air fryer and does not come out like that, what temperature should I used ?
I’m eating this as I type this and this is honestly the best chicken I’ve ever had.
I love my ninja foodie grill XL. Wish I would have bought the Pro
Omg best chicken ever thank you for the recipe .
Can it grill ribs?

Your videos have been so helpful
Thank you so much :)
I tried it last night with the grill plate left in and it didn't work. That size were burnt black
Spices:
2 tsp Paprika
2 tsp Salt
1.5 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
.5 tsp Black Pepper
Avocado Oil
PS. If you put them on the rack you don't have to flip if you don't want to.
Very helpful, thank you :)
They are so good using my Instant Pot Air Fryer lid too!! So Good, this is the only way I cook them now!!
Oh yeah! In the air fryer lid they are especially yummy!
I would like to know how long it took to cook these chicken thighs so I know how long to cook the rest of my dinner.
I’m going to go buy one now. Thank you
Add some baking powder for crispy
I thought the xl will tell you to flip food , right?
Thank you!
You're welcome! :) Thanks for watching
Yeah - thighs don’t dry out and have lots of flavour. Great cold and then shredded into cooked rice or curry sauce. 😋 Any Christmas recipes planned? 🤫
Yummy! I do have some quick treats in the works. I need to pick up the ingredients this weekend :)
Did exactly as she said and our thighs turned out PERFECT!! Thank you ♥
You are so welcome. Thanks for watching :)
Blood was running out of one the chicken thighs...👀
Yeah that caught my eye too

Way too much nonsense for chicken. But the cooker did a good job. I hate idiots like this who try to turn a turd into a diamond. Its chicken.
I feel sorry for people that have to eat your food.
@@suddenimpulse030 no one has to eat my food but me.
