I used have a 64 Falcon Ranchero. We converted from the 170 and 2 speed Auto to a 302 and 3 Speed Auto. We were lucky to find a 68 mustang that was rolled and harvested the 9” rear and front spindles with brakes. It was fun to drive afterwards.

Been watching all the Falcon posts several times.Started my Falcon several years ago and planned on roughly what you have been doing except I started out with a '95 GT that no one believed I would cut up as this car was awesome. It just happened to be cheaper than building up a new 5.0 block i have been sitting on. When I really started looking at the car the train fell off the tracks. It was a year and a half to get the car back on the road. Been working on it as the money comes in here and there. 5.0-5speed-Rack and Pinion-4 wheel Cobra discs-Adjustable coil over struts in front- Adjustable coil over shocks in rear- 03 Cobra IRS and more. I used the Mustang pedal assembly and could probably use the clutch cable you if you still have it. Can't wait to see what you have planned for the rear. Hopping to get out to Ford Fest if the car will make it from California (a lot of people don't think it will being almost 60 years old).
I’m so glad to see the Falcon getting the swap!!! I have an LS swapped Falcon and have been watching your Falcon take shape ever since you started on it, keep up the great work family!!
Being a previous Pyrenees owner they absolutely don't like being fenced in. They are the greatest pasture protection. They do prefer only minding commands from one person as they are known as being loyal to one person. The best thing about them is that when the kids are out playing in the pasture, he will not let a thing happen to them whatsoever, even if his life depends on it. I love seeing Murphy because he reminds me of mine. I lost mine to cancer and miss him all the time
I've never have heard of the word "Dingus" until watching this channel...today I had to look it up........and it's a real slang word! "A slow dimwitted person or foolish". I learnt something new!
Sounds like squeeze is paying the price for playing in the rain. Sure hope she’s feeling better. She’s so cute. I love all of you all and the videos you post.
I love how all the kids are involved in learning hands on maintenance and how to fix things and how stuff works more parents need to do this…. It’s funny they have a lift I feel like they’re always working off their backs lol
300 inline ford... 1990s I owned a full service gas station, a construction company came in daily for gas in that dually. Topped the oil off, 6 quarts a week. Once a month I screwed on a new filter right at the pumps. Engine never died, hundreds of thousands of miles on it.
Just came across this channel… don’t know how I have missed this. I own a 1963-1/2 ford falcon sprint that my grandpa, my dad, my uncle who was a body man, and myself did a frame up restoration on. It has a 260 v8 and a 4sp on the floor tranny. I love this car and the memories made working on it! I absolutely love seeing these old falcons get back on road. I’m in process of doing a 4 barrel swap and doing away with points ignition on it.
This is going to tear it up at the next autocross. It would be really interesting to see you turbocharged one of those slant sixes that you have in the future. I really enjoy your videos. Especially how you involve the whole family.

Great video. Things Shirley have come along way. Wawa and Ralphie are your new right and left hands. Delegate a project to either one and they get it done. That's just so cool. Well done Teacher Dad. Funny part, "Someone wanted them cats"......"Meow!" Can things get any better? Shirley they will!

I'm happy to see you're putting that motor out of that Mustang in that falcon I've been waiting many moons to see it done Julie I'm excited to see it run
Man, thats a tight fit! I had a buddy(tommy) that got a falcon with an inline 6 when I was about 15, or 1979. I was riding in the back seat, another buddy (named Buddy)in the passenger seat. Well, Tommy was gonna show off, he went in to an S-turn on an access road beside the highway, I told him he was coming too hot, he mumbled some rude stuff, and as we spun out, the back end went up over the curb and we hit a chain link fence. Broke all kinds of stuff underneath the car. Lucky we were all ok, and I was only a mile from home so I hoofed it home. Tommy wasn't supposed to have anyone in the car, so his dad took the falcon away from him and put in a 289 V8. I liked it before and after the wreck. Tommy's dad sold it cheap to move them to Texas. Was a cool car.
I'm 62 years old and back in my young days we would ride our bikes all day in the rain we had so much fun. And don't get me going with what we did in the winter lol
Same, but in Canada winter I built snow sculptures and igloos behind the garden shed, with oil lamps and plywood floors to stay dry, so I could read in peace because my mom expected me to play outside. She never found me and I don't think she even knew I knew how to build an igloo.
