Just a slick trick some tow truck drivers taught me when unloading cars from their flatbed trucks ( aka rollback) use a little dish soap under the tires if they dont roll it'll slide right off your trailer and won't harm anything. I saw you struggling with a few cars on the show and forgot to pass on the tid bit of info. Hope this helps you in the future... Keep up the great content guys.

I could be totally wrong but that Cushman looks like it was a police or a meter maid-mobile. The blue & white paint and extra lights on the side and what not looks police/parking authority. In fact if you Google police Cushman you’ll see what I mean. I laughed as soon as I saw it and said to my self just wait till they move it, those things are ridiculously heavy for what they are. They called them Haulsters and Trucksters. I have one with a little dump bed on it I bought to redo someday but have yet to get around to it. Parts pretty readily available. It wouldn’t be a terrible candidate to convert to electric if it’s locked up.
Yeah, it reminds me of when I went into Bath and Bodyworks with my daughter-in-law. But I didn't complain because she went into Harbor Freight with me and didn't say a word. With families, it's all about trade-offs.
Regarding the holes in the shock towers, Ford didn't put grease fittings on their upper control arms back then, and a lot of guys would cut holes there to access and remove the end plugs and install grease fittings. Other than removing the control arms, that was the quickest way to do it. You see a lot of old Mustangs that have been "modded" in this way. New aftermarket control arms have a 90 degree fitting installed so you can grease them when needed.

andreamills5852 2years ago I was looking for a 1962 to 1968 Chevy station wagon. I just asked for two things. It needed to run and drive. I didn't care what color it was or how much rust I had to fix. And in the state that I live in there were none for sale anywhere. So I now have a restored 1967 Mercury Cougar instead, but someday I'll have my wagon.
I am a Volvo guy, I have 2 240s currently, and have owned about 4 more which I fixed up and sold. You don't see too many 140s, that one certainly deserves to be saved.

The ole Cushman Postal delivery is something i have had an eye on. My thought is to get a newer side by side, put the cushman body on it, making it 4 wheels & safer & donating it to my local carrier. My first car was a 1974 4 door Nova with a straight 6. I Loved that car. Didn't have to open car doors for friends to get in the back & easy to work on. The Grabber looks like it'll clean up nice. Ty Sleeperdude family for taking us along
In 2001 I found a 1980 Volvo GL240 in a junk yord that belonged to an elderly couple who could no longer drive a manual shift. It had 53.000 original moles on, Got close to 40 mpg with an exhaust mod and would burn the casings of in first, second and it would chirp in third. I paid $500 bucks for it.

I thank you guys for taking us along. I'm sure the straight truck will be much easier to load than you think. If the front wheels will roll, there is very little weight on the rear end. That was cool to see all the old cars and trucks. Real bummer about the vw vehicles not for sale. I know wawa was sad. Sure is a good thing you bought the tractor awhile back. It helped a lot with these vehicles. Looking forward to seeing the videos on the new cars. See you later.

Josh you've brought back some very fond memories for me this morning! My very first car at 16 years old in 1976 was a 1973 Ford Maverick Grabber the exact same color as this one! Mine had the 302 V8 2bbl with blue interior with bucket seats and an automatic floor shifter console! I ended up having a dual exhaust system and headers installed and I put a Holley 4bbl aluminium intake and a Holley 4bbl carb on it! It turned out to be a beast of a Grabber and I loved that car I put 50,000 miles on it in 2 years hahaha 😆 it had 19,000 miles on it when my parents bought it for me on my 16th birthday! Very Very Fond memories indeed 😊 ❤😊
On that old '54/55 GMC, they usually had either a 248 or a 270 cu. in. straight 6, and they were a really torquey slow turning engine. They usually have a vacuum governor located under the carburetor to keep people from over-revving them. If the engine still turns, it would be cool to see y'all get it running again!😉👍👍

I wish I had money for them back then if I was even alive I’ve always loved wagons
