Looks like the MINI driver is smoother than the M3 driver. The MINI also seems to be able to brake later but the M3 has edge on acceleration both torque and top end. The MINI also looks faster in the corners. Looks like great fun in any case.
GP is an awesome car. This guy has skills, chasing the E46 was only because he knew it makes for interesting watching. There were times he could have pushed it and passed the M. Yes the E46 had showed some speed in the straights but few cars corner like the R53. A well tuned R53 is quick in and out of the turns, you don't know until you've tried it. Amazing.

Having driven a couple of mini coopers ( courtesy cars ) - i would bet that, anyone wanting a daily runaround car that they can also take on a track would be hard pushed to find a more usable & fun package :D

what? no he didnt. on the other hand, there is no way he will ever catch up to the m3 on the straightaways but on the corners the m3 is forced to slow down and the mini catches up and takes the corner right behind it.

im going to get a new mini cooper s hardtop, and yes i will put work into it, not just to race it but because i want my car to be quick ill be more then happy with a 1.6 liter turbo 4 cylinder with near 300bhp, and also get 30mpg

m3 will smoke a boss, i had e46 m3 loved the car, im gettin a r56 mini , cars are quick good on gas and look good when hooked up, but considering the diffrent classes the mini was right on him just about the whole time, besides american muscle cars modernday muscle cars are wackkkk, 60's are good but modernsuckkkk
Very nimble car, can go through corners very fast and brake later than BMW. I think this mini is at 220bhp as standard and that M3 is about 300bhp, so explains why the BMW runs away on the straights
ive had all kinds of cars, f150's mustangs Taurus's, the newer cars are shit, early 90's held up, had a 93's 5.0 and a f150 heavy duty with extended cab and 5.0 in it,just gt rid of it recently, had it for 19 years, had 85 thousand on it, never had any problems with it, im 25 i rode it hard was my pops when he got a benz he gave me the truck then i bought 03 e46 m3 raced the shit out of it, made alot of money, only flashed the computer otherwise stock, i told you bout he mustang,, had a vw vr6
@Marcoakadj power is only one small part of the equation. if it was about power then a Ford pickup truck would smoke the M3. Power, weight, handling, brakes, and driver. Remember this is a Cooper S JCW GP model, not a standard coooper s.
yes I've been in a few driven a few also. i just don't ike them, they aren't quality cars, ford,gm makes cars for profit not quality where say BMW mini , does, performance luxury, where mustangs have one body style, and several different motors, constant problems, and if you ride them hard you will end up replacing the motor, spinning valves replacing rear ends, axles, transmissions if you cant drive, and clutches, BMW's you can literally beat and still will drive to top standards

@blackberry4511 the GP has +105 hp, so it has 310 hp and more than 350 NM.
of course an m3 has the spirit, and the soul. It's safer too. but this is the 3rd video i've watched of this guys driving, nice work.

The mini is completely outclassed, I don't care what trim it is, it is a fwd hatch with an engine exactly HALF the size of the M3. This is impressive.
@scopesunited the 1st generation Minis are supercharged (R53) the 2nd gen are tubrocharged.
Impressive, it's pretty wild what these cars can do with relatively low HP/TRQ #'s. R56s driver here.

These jcw have an impressive handling...they barely oversteer,brake very well and have a good punch in lower rpm

i drive the mini these bmw will read my plate numbers all the rce. these mini driver might be a little scared
