The girl who loved singing more than anyone else has not changed as an adult. She sang 8 to 10 hours a day even in her private time during BABYMETAL's hiatus.
I always remember what she said in the Angel of Light commercials from Sakura Gakuin: "I love singing and dancing. But I got in trouble and got scolded for being too loud when I'm singing at home. One day I will fly up over the clouds and sing loudly to my heart's content." Got scolded for singing to loud, got asked to be in a metal band. Became world famous in her field. 🙂

@@kitkat6407 I think she probably is well paid and has a standalone house now and pretty certain she already had a karaoke machine at home when she was a kid. My guess is she has something like a small studio at home now, an office size room with sound proving. It's not cheap, but also not overly expensive. It's the equipment which makes a proper home studio for recording expensive. My guess is she doesn't have that.
Great reaction. A beautiful version of what was already a beautiful song. I hadn't heard of The First Take before this either - I love that we get to hear a bit more of what a lovely voice Moa has in this, but Su's vocals in particular, as we already knew, are on another level.

I'll be at their first outing with Sabaton in Leeds. With no prior set-list to go off I think everyone there, to see Babymetal especially, is going to be so wound up by the time they step on stage
Babymetal needs to put out an unplugged album...Even in this simple environment, Su is still the perfect performer, with her expression and gestures... Akatsuki Unfinished is still my tear jerker from Su, but this is running a close second in terms of emotional performances....sorry No Rain No Rainbow from Legend S XX... I've seen some of the other First Takes, and I think Su just set a whole new bar thats gonna be hard to surpass 🥲🥲🥲🤘🦊🤘
Flawless performance by Su, I'm so glad they got to do this. The First Take lets music enthusiasts hear the pure voices of their favorite singers. I've also become a big fan of Saito Kyoko from Hinatazaka46, the group itself is great but she's their best singer. She has also did the First Take, I think you can find it from just her name, but it's listed as the group and song "日向坂46 - 僕なんか ". She has a deep and unique voice, though not so noticeable in this performance.
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。These female artists depict various images by singing and project them into the listeners' brain. The waves by those images come and go and make me move emotionally. Thank you BABYMETAL. And thank you Koba for your serendipity. Some 13 years ago, you certainly discovered something amazing and sacred for us. Speaking of the three figures in white hood adding some background vocals, they are certainly homage to BM's girlhood with original three girls. I assume, however, they are the same girls who performed Doki Doki Morning as clone BABYMETAL in Makuhari last January. The combination of their heights reminded me of them dancing face-to-face with Su, Moa and Momoko.
Not sure if you've ever listened to Wednesday Campanella at all, but their singer Utaha does a couple of amazing Fist Takes. It's very far from being metal, but a little EDM and rapping won't hurt you :-) And it's worth mentioning that most big artists appearing on The Fist Take do two songs. They are usually released a week or two apart, with two or three other uploads in-between. There has only been one video uploaded after Babymetal so far, but keep an eye out. I suspect there will be another Babymetal First Take soon. I'm curious to see what song they pick. Hoping it will be one of the classics, but suspect they'll want to market the new album and most likely go with Metal Kingdom.

yes, they trained so hard to know exactly how to do that, they do it at live shows too. It's amazing with all the dancing and jumping around.

The First Take usually allows the artist to select the best of 3 takes. That's entirely up to the artist if they choose to do that.
