Best Mini Cooper Carbon Fiber Flat Bottom Steering Wheel // Titanium Paddle Shifters

Getting a custom Mini Cooper carbon fiber flat bottom steering wheel is just what "the doctor ordered". For those of you who have an F56 Mini Cooper know how ugly the factory steering wheel is, let alone the one in the JCW. 🤮
I'll never understand why Mini Cooper's don't come with at least a flat bottom steering wheel, especially the JCW versions. One would assume if you're spending that much money on a Mini Cooper you would get a nicer quality steering wheel.

From the moment I decided I was going to buy an F56 Mini Cooper JCW, I knew I was going to replace the factory steering wheel with a flat bottom steering wheel. What I was not decided on was getting a carbon fiber steering wheel.
Carbon fiber is not for everyone's style and taste, and the way that I see some people add it to their vehicles it can be a bit much. But I planned out my interior build sheet really well and decided that the steering wheel is the perfect focal point should I want to add carbon fiber to anything in the Mini Cooper.
I'm super happy with the quality of the carbon fiber steering wheel from SMPS2012 and with my discount code, you absolutely can not beat the value.
I could not justify putting the stock plastic paddle shifters on my custom carbon fiber steering wheel, so I looked far and wide for the nicest paddle shifters I could find and that's where I found the MMR Performance lightweight extended paddle shifters for the Mini Cooper F56 platform.
These are the best paddle shifters I could find and the fact that they can also be ordered in a titanium color, it makes them pop so nicely in the interior and steps your interior up by 10 cool points for sure.
Lastly, I tied everything together with a carbon fiber handbrake to really finish off that high-end interior vibe and really making this setup the absolute best money can buy.

Those paddles are a nice touch. Not sure if you’re aware, but there is a hole under the steering wheel where you can stick a skewer. That will eject the airbag. All you do after that is release the wires.
