Nice hunt Jamie, I got out a couple of times this past week. First day I pulled a 1898 IHP second day I got a 1918 Mercury dime. Keep swinging you'll find the treasure 👊
No way that's the same date on my Indian Head Penny I found on my property 😁

That's exactly what metal detecting looks like to me - a way to relax... while mildly treasure hunting. Gotta get the Gold Monster someday. Not sure if they exist in the States, but look for Watson Blackhawk nitrile gloves - I use them for steel construction and they're way more durable and wearable those Mechanix gloves.
I can get those gloves here in the States. I will order a pair and give them a shot.
Nice. They're like wearing industrial surgical gloves, so I can still manipulate small screws/rivets, etc. Don't pay too much for them - they should be about $5-7.00us. I generally buy a box, when on sale, and use them for everything. Happy hunting.
