I've had a lot of times I didn't find much. If it's not there, you won't find it no matter how good your metal detector is. If however the field is full of coins and jewelry, a 100-dollar detector will look good. Those Minilabs are quality detectors. That looks like a 440 but I could be wrong.

First time watching your videos. Keep up the positivity! I have the same detector here on Okinawa and it finds many little treasures.

That first spacer ring could be a centering ring from a pocket watch.

I have a 540 and have a hard time with the numbers since the VDI only goes to 40…. Used to it going to 99. But I’ll keep working with it. Suggestion: have an ending to your video, don’t just cut away.

How do you keep such a beautiful whole?! Very nice and clean like you weren't even there. It's hard for me to be honest. That is why I am scared about asking to do people yards. I live in a really old neighborhood. 1845-1950's homes. My apartment house was built in 1920.

Congratulations. I hunted with Vanquish 340 that got destroyed from water and now hunting with a Nokta Double score and found a class ring in a area the Vanquish missed. I need a back up and was thinking of a EQ 600 so I could have a Minelab and Nokta!!! Im pretty sure you can put the V10 coil off your 440 on your 600 for better accuracy on your targets. But if you go to a beach id go with the bigger coil!!

I purchased the Equinox 600 last week as a Birthday gift for myself and so far I love it. Ive had quite a few detectors over the years and this one is by far the best. No not all detectors are the same. This particular one is versatile meaning great for any environment and can be use in the water. For some reason, mine doesn't have the menu screen on the front like yours does, but not a big deal though. It is a learning curve to get used to but not that difficult. I also paired my apple earpods to listen to the noises when it detects metal.

Run over pull tab and then notch out pull tabs in another saved setting run over it again then decide. Im sure it has notch like the great Vanquish.

Congratulations to you.Equinox 600 it's a nice machine it's stable and easy, I'm 15 and I have Garrett 300 it's bad on the beach I hope to have vanquish because it's good than Garrett but I don't have money to buy it, can you give me yours.

Enjoying the videos, keep up the good work. 👍👍👍 Stock programs work good, you just have to noise cancel before you start. 👍👍👍 I did some checking and that old pull tab you dug stopped being made in 1964. A good indication that there is silver there which stopped being put in coins in 1964.

I'm very happy for you getting the 600! 👍👍👍 I'd love to see you redetect your old spots. I started out with an 800, and I dont suggest notching out anything , especially pull tabs. That is right in the middle of where you will find gold and rings. One guy mentioned learning the tones, which I agree with, but it's good to use the vdi for reference also. Listen for those faint tones that are repeating signals, having the larger coil you will get more depth. That means that those places haven't been hunted out. One more tip is all that trash you get out including pull tabs and caps unmasks older coins that are there. Best of Luck!

Check mental metal for better settings. Yes you will find different things with different metal detector.

All machines are the same bud. You have to learn the machine. It's never the machine. It's always the user when you dig a nickel notch. You'll pull 1000 pull tabs before you get a gold ring.! Set that thing up in multitone learn the tones forget about the numbers good luck, bud!HH from MA

Nice father's day gift. I have the nox800 and will get the XTERRA PRO soon. 600 is a great machine. Look at some videos that show you to set it up so you do not dig pulltabs. I will dig and know it will most likely be a pulltab. Do not get discouraged. You know a new machine means learning it.

Hey man curb strips are great to hunt the curb strips that are older have smaller concrete edges

If you have any local beaches those are a lot of funt to detect. I found 3 silver rings last year at a private community beach that i got permission to detect.

You need to notch out those pulltabs. I have the 800 Nox myself.

The equinox 600 when set up will find coins and rings when set up rite.
