I just got my metal dector on friday. Yesterday I decided to try it out just in my backyard because I don't know what I'm doing yet. I actually found something! It is a really old style looking name tag that says Marty.

Sometimes it surprises me how little we detectorists get paid for cleaning up the country, any country.
Yeah, it would be nice if there was a way to actually make a living from it.
