For the stutter playback make a proxy for your footage in the blender motion tracking tab. I do a 50 percent no distortion … then go back to layout, select ur camera then under background images select the proxy u just built… if it doesn’t work try unchecking or checking build distorted. Ideally u would want distortion to be accurate to some degree but it isn’t a big deal here
Try Motion to Affine from perspective Match = Previous Frame from keyframe Choose 3 markers that's near the floor and set floor Select a marker and set a single origin point Auto keyframe is finicky, set it manually where the markers show up the most (those blue drag lines) all this before setting up the tracking scene and background pewp pew
Yeah honestly I think that was the issue. And the fact I couldn’t even pull accurate tracking markers on the floor messed it up even further. FSPY from here on out!!
The best addon for tracking is in my opinion Geotracker, nothing beats that addon, I do a lot of VFX/tracking and I've never seen anything making tracking so f*ckin easy :') For your cloth sim it's hard to tell but it looks like you just don't have enough resolution? I do lots of vellum in houdini and the more resolution you have the better (and heavier) but in your case you just forgot to remesh and even triangulate (it's apparently better to work with triangles but i may be wrong, i automatically triangulate when working with clothes but never really bothered to compare, plus, I only do them in Houdini so I don't know if it applies to blender) There's a lot of things to be said but gj nevertheless, nice video!
@@EOSZash Yeah this is all amazing advice!! I will do another test project soon with all of this applied. I LOVED Geotracker but my trial ran out 😭😭😭 Maybe its time I cough up the $$ and buy it. Thank you for all your help!!!

@@BoyFromNyYT THANK YOU!! Yeah I think I am a couple steps away from needing accuracy right now. Ill get there though 🫡
