I was put on Ozempic 22 months ago mostly for Coronary Artery Disease management. It has allowed me to bear down and lose, so far, 170 pounds. Dr. Tyna speaks the truth!
I went on compounded semaglutide and it changed my life! My joints were free of pain and I lost 20 lbs. I felt like a new person. I had very few side effects. It silenced the food noise. I felt like I had my life back. Then because of financial reasons I had to stop taking it. I have gained 15 lbs back and my joint are sore again.
Unfortunately, these semiglutide therapies are probably needed for life. I also did a liraglutide, but because of a few problems, I went off of it and all the weight came right back. I don't know why they can't make these more affordable. Also, I want to see the long term side effects.
Any diet that releases fat quickly or cuts back carbs makes you tired at first. It’s not necessarily related to the drug, it’s toxin detox and sugar withdrawal. Our toxin exposure is enormous and our body protects itself by locking toxins in fat cells, little by little. When we loose months or years of fat in a short time it dumps the toxins all at once. If we have stored toxins we can get toxin overload that mimics sickness or exhaustion as our body tries to get them out. I’ve done keto and experienced this phenomenon, it’s been called “keto flu”. I would imagine this tiredness and perhaps some nausea are not from the glp but from detoxing. Like keto it probably passes.
muscle building possible with micro dose ? obviously with lifting but made easier ? i was told muscle comes along this semaglutide but yet can make you tired ? mature 50`s it sounds like maybe this can help ?
