I just got my own ninja 125 and for what I've read online these bikes can actually go up to 130 km/h but from factory they come with an electronic limiter that limits it at 117 km/h on the speedometer. Although the 130 km/h is given that there is no wind and you are going either downhill or flat at least of course xD Got inspired by this channel to buy the 125 actually 😊 Thanks for your amazing content by the way you deserve way more viewers
I have a ninja 1000, but I am envious of u having more fun on a 125 than what I have on 1000
Love your content dude!
Wife has owned it three years but still has an L plate?
getting really good at those blender 3D animations 😉
You got good content man, keep it going fo sho.
i have the voge r125. got 51 mph going up a hill in 6th gear, about 7k revs. not bad. bikes still new so breaking it in but will give an update on top speed after first service
My new 2024 Kawasaki ninja 125 hits 72MPH but then pulls back. most likely fitted with a limiter as I can feel it wanting to do more, but it always reduces in power after hitting the 72mph target.
Aw wow you from gloucester? literally not far from my house where you was :D
I had Suzuki GSX - S125, 2023. The maximum speed I ever did was 78 miles. Also, it very depends on the wind direction or if I ride behind a big lorry...😅
I had cbr125 she would have done 85 no probs rode 125 for thirty odd year am 54 now and only done my test three years ago av a gsxr600 now some piece of kit she can boogie the 125 great fun
Also surprises me it only goes 70mph... My old 50cc aprilla area 51 scooter from 1998 was fully de-resricted and on a flat she wud pull 60mph. So impressive for the time, and a 50cc
My 2023 Yamaha MT shows 85 MPH on the speedo on a slight downhill, so I'm guessing with correction is about 82-83 MPH.
Remap the ecu, or see if you can get a fuel injection tuner, swap out the airfilter for a K&N, and run a slip-on
70 mph for 125cc bike is honestly impressive. Faster than my 150cc scooter can go.
On my cb125r wind has a ridiculous impact on top speed, most likely because its a naked bike. The quoted top speed is 65mph, but if your willing to hold 5th kiss the tank you can get just over 70mph on flat ground. In a headwind recently the speedo wouldn't go above 55mph in 6th gear but on the way back it touched 78mph. Definitely doesn't have a speed limiter on mine but the top speed is a little lower than that kawasaki Definitely
i'd be more worried about the socket still stuck to the bolt in the rear view
Apparently it's a 10% increase on the Speedo to make you slower. That's what I've always heard
Off topic question. I'm on 2 bars of petrol left on my ninja 125, how many miles do you think its got left in the tank as an experienced rider on the ninja? As I've only had this bike for 2weeks and not sure how much I can trust the fuel bars, as my old bike always said 2 bars but basically meant empty haha.
1 bar is reserve so 2 bars is about 1/5 of a tank
Got a 4th gen r125 with an exhaust have managed to hit 90mph
shame these come restricted, still good learner bikes obviously but the limiter is pretty unneeded
I have a WR125X which also peaks at 73mph - i thought it was me eating to many Kebabs at 14 Stone 5 😂 That being said descent Torque up to 40mph for 15bhp.
The ninja a good bike I had a 300 ninja then 650 ninja then z900 Kawasaki went down to gsxr600 within two years
Yeah, on the speedo...
yeah im getting a 600cc
i got 86 out of my cbr125r but thats what the speedo said so probably closer to 80
lol you know.
Why is there a socket hanging out the back of your bike???
Think it's the clamp for his cam?
it would go faster after changing front sprocket
Now that is definitely a bike that needs a dyno tune
Cant believe ya pooped her into another gear at like 68mph. And its restricted to 73mph. Restrictor off she wud probs go 80mph+ down hill wind behind, laid flat over the tank.
Ouch 5th gear 70 6th gear 73 haha 3mph for a whole gear, I'll stick with the bandits 2nd gear 70 odd haha
my old TZR125 did just over 100MPH
2 stroke warrior
some reason I expected the ninja 125 to do like 110mph (never driven a motorbike)
You'll just about be doing that comfortably on a stock ninja 400. 4rr a bit different.
This why a stranger that never rode will tell you 400 is enough, while you are sitting on a 400 single cylinder dirtbike that tops at 80mph. Very few even into casual rider have an idea about cc/cylinder, torque/horsepower or what each category can do, makes easy to pass some silly blanket laws.
😂😂😂😂😂 noooooo mate
FYI an average 4 stroke 125cc will never (never) outrun a cheetah at its top speed (120 km/h = 74 mph) since your bike, at its top speed, will only go up to 110 km/h = 68 mph on a good day.
Some of these youtube watching Karan don't play, if wan blur the speedo we will believe you.
