Iv owned mine for 7 years now and had plenty of work done, most preventative stuff and the rest mods really. Outstanding cars, can't complain at all, weapons as well. Not as brutal and as quick as my M4 but it has so much more character than my M4. I think this was a great video, and I did not realise G-tech motor works was in my local area. Maybe its time for me to check them out, im looking for a suspension refresh and loweing kit in the next few weeks 🤔
Thank you for the watch, E92 M3’s are an incredible car. If you need anything from G-tech please let us know, we are distributors of quite a few high end suspension manufacturers.
Idle Control Valve (ICV) and Fuel Breather Valve (FBV)?? I think those are even more common than all of the ones you mentioned apart from rod bearings and throttle actuators...Cheers.
A solenoid is not a sensor, lol. Thermostat is a fairly well known issue, and affects many different types of cars. I've not heard anyone else saying the starters are 'quite a common failure', I'd say the opposite, same with the MAP sensor 😛 Interesting video anyway, will finish watching it tomorrow.
What your saying is EVERY part can fail? The only real problem with the e92 is the Thottle bodies. These fail ALL the time and a genuine known item. There is no point replacing them, as the item is defective. Place in England will upgrade the defective part and give you a lifetime warranty. I replaced two (before 15k miles) before I found this company. I replaced both myself and it’s not a skilful job, just time consuming {some class TH-cam videos on same) Would I sell my M3…….not a chance. If you ever had one, you know these are animals. If you want one, don’t let people put you off. I’ve had top of the range Porsche/Audi and have sold, still have my M3 because it’s a weapon!
Thank you for your comment, we are not trying to put people off, the E92 M3 is a weapon of a car as we have mentioned in the video. You own one, we see these week after week and have been working on them for years, the video is just highlighting SOME of the common faults we have see as a specialist, Thank you for watching.
Bmw are very comfortable, very good looking and very well built cars until you hit 60k miles. At this this point should find a bmw mechanic(male or female), marry them and chain them to your car. Failing that you should get warm custard and pour it over the as its more akin to a crumble than a car. I had timing chain stretch, plastic bits blocking pump and the red light of death on the dash.😢
Bloody ell, I don't want one now. Great vlog fella 👍
They are amazing cars bud, just some common faults we see as a specialist, go ahead and get one you will not regret it, Thank you for watching.
😅
6:46 not a difficult job at all! Just had mine changed in 25 mins. Lifetime warranty as well.

Can you tell me what the place in England is? 😅

They look nice However, absolute pants engineering and quality. No comparison to a Volvo, Saab or Lexus .
Which BM did you have? 2.0d?
My 330d's at 139k miles, so far so good! (for the engine anyway, had to replace all ABS sensors though!)
@@serenan920 Saab that went bust, over 10yrs ago was it?😛
