Port injection, air to air intercooler, coil near plug, throw a tremec tkx and a good clutch at it, lightweight flywheel, 6:2:1 turbo manifold all v banded make use of al that space under the hood for some matte black tubes, header wrap, and turbo blanket. Do some good brakes, white 18" steelies, ford 9 inch with parallel 4 links and a watts...that thing would be so rad. When you pitch a rod, get another engine for $250, throw a forged rotating assembly in it with the right cam and valvetrain on e85 ur making 550 wheel in a TOTAL sleeper of a truck. Think about the weight youd lose with the tkx too. The damn things weigh 80 pounds.

Picking up a vw dune buggy in a few days. I can't wait!
A rear sliding window is cheap for that truck. I had a 77 Sierra Grande in 88 that I tricked out and painted in the Army. I used their tools and a bay to do all the body work and then their paint booth. It was ridiculously cheap and I learned everything from a series in Hot Rod magazine. It was absolutely beautiful and a week after I got out of the service and back to my hometown a 92 year old man pulled right out in front of me in the rain and totaled it bending the frame. I am still not over it! 😢
Great to see another great old rig saved !!
I am not jealous of many builds as cool as they are, but this one I am 100% feeling I want this one.
Awesome ! Anxious to see what you turn this into !
Would love to see some competitive action. That Hillclimb in PA sounds awesome. Make it happen TA.
Love this channel. Keep it up guys.
That truck is in amazing shape for sitting that long I'm amazed the rear bumper isn't even rusted what a find
Strangely satisfying to see an old square body get The Stay Tuned 1st round of TLC. And best of all, Some of Derek's Shine Juice on it. She's a runner and a looker Now
Watching this on my subbed page feed, thinking, do I know these people? How? They seem nice.. OH, VGG! Glad to see your channel again. Fun rescue!
As much as I love VGG videos/revivals, it always kills me he doesn't clean em up more right from the beginning. Well done guys! 😂
Good job guys!
I like those straight six motors. You aren't going to tear up the streets in it, but it will be reliable, and it should get you where you want to go. For a shop truck, that's all you need. You can't beat the price!
I like it!
OMG! This truck makes me very jealous of you guys. But it’s ok I’ll have a drink and feel better after that. Wow great truck can’t wait to see it complete.
Well done Guys She looks amazing. WoW. Great Rescue.
SWEET!! I love these kind of field finds! Great truck for under $2k & a little elbow grease!! 👍👍
Awesome truck. Looks great. What a fun episode. Gonna get that interior cleaned up now!
Another excellent find, there is just something awesome about the 230/250 inline six motors and a manual.
Thanks Tony! Spit my coffee all over when you said "I'm ready to start wiping I guess it's a weird thing to say!" 😂
Old enough to get Tony's bad jokes and references.👍
How do you think your kidding. After Barb's turbo slant 6, you were just looking for another 6 cylinder to turbo. I definitely approve!!!! Looking forward to seeing future videos.
That’s awesome. I love square body Chevys and long beds “I know I’m weird” so I’m looking forward to seeing what happens.
Yet another Effin awesome video. You guys are the antidote to a crappy week. Can't wait to see what you do next. Take care of you and yours...
a Rabe and sausage pie... Men of pure class right there..
