No matter how bad a day I am having LBG always makes me smile. Mostly because I think much the same way our host does. Looking forward to seeing this one up and running.
There's a human subtext to the trips back and forth across the country. When I had to clear my father's estate I was on the road more than I wanted but as many times as needed. Keep being a good son.
Really like the way that you approach these projects!! Love your casual demeanor as you encounter significant obstacles and then offer innovative solutions. Can't wait for the next video 👍👍
Glad this popped up in my feed. I saw the original episode. I love the sense of humor with everything. Subscribed , looking forward to the rest of this project.
I love that you brought the 'Passpartout' track unit back. I'm guessing it is supposed to be a small snow-track or ATV for dairy-farm use. It is very similar looking to a small French plough tractor from the 1930s, but this one is probably from the 60's or 70's and more lightweight / more suited to be a run-about.
$750 for that YJ is looking like a pretty good deal, I' sure you will get a lot of parts besides just the powertrain, and have some sellable or tradeable stuff even after all that. The moving truck unload was genius! I also use your work on it, take a break method on my 73 CJ-5.......except suddenly my last break stretched into 2 years and counting.
That explains why the next video took some time... James has been busy! Loved how you managed to get the rental unloaded and used Lego to make the visual aspect from the plane trip and the rental truck. Loved to hear how your kids liked it. Lego is always great, you guys where surely having fun!
I remember doing the same thing 40 years ago with a Samurai, and then again with a '47 CJ2A. Probably the same fuzzy named truck rental company. Eye bolts and really big washers to straps through the floor. It lasted for 1200 miles and over the Rockies, both times. Soft, fluffy mattresses...just like it was meant to haul. Nicely done!
Dang! Jeeps are a labor of pure love only. If only I can learn the trick of letting a project marinate before looking for the biggest hammer I can find to end it all! Great advice. I too have jeeps in the yard but miss my '61 Willy's truck the most. 😢
I just found this channel like a week ago, and I've watched so many videos already. Big fan of junk, and making cool stuff out of it, so this seems like my kind of place.
Great upgrade for the old Jeep. I did a similar upgrade to my 65 Rambler American. The OBD1 4.0 Jeep is about as simple of a fuel injection system as you can get. It worked out great for me, turn the key and it always runs well. Looking forward to seeing how it goes for you.👍
I love your attempts to blur out the truck lol, you showed the "thrifty" brand and the license plate Also, love how a previous owner made a P trap out of their filler neck
I was going to make a sarcastic comment about the Lego dramatizations, until I saw your/your kid's effort into making the Lego truck - nice work, to whichever made all that.
I operate similarly when working on my vehicles. I take breaks, I think about it when something strips or doesn't loosen. I might take a few weekends to finish the job.
Unloading the truck deserves at lease a comment and thumbs up
The myth, The Legend has again saved us from boredom
i'm so glad that you doubled the budget on the special effects. hahah.
So excited for this project
Yep 👍
Me too
Probably enough parts to last a lot of projects!
Your deadpan delivery is killer.
This always brings back memories of my mom's station wagon growing up. Our 1963 Jeep Wagoneer.
Thoroughly enjoyed the first installment of the '30 year upgrade' and looking forward to the next !
No matter how bad a day I am having LBG always makes me smile. Mostly because I think much the same way our host does. Looking forward to seeing this one up and running.
Nice work, that unloading ramp was a masterwork of sketch!
A solid 9.5 on the sketch-o-meter
Lot's of fun to watch you re-create this ancient Jeep. The Lego's we're very creative. Looking forward to the next part!
Oh my god it my favorite time of anytime! Low-Buck Garage upload-time!!! Much excite! 😁
There's a human subtext to the trips back and forth across the country. When I had to clear my father's estate I was on the road more than I wanted but as many times as needed. Keep being a good son.
I'm always impressed with the creativity of his solutions. They are so simple and effective
One of the best channels on the tube. 💯 Great content, can't wait to see how it all comes together. 👍
I was just thinking about this Jeep. Glad you have a (concept of a)plan, sort of. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride
This is one of the few channels I really enjoy, as scetchy as unloading the jeep was it was surprisingly graceful
Really like the way that you approach these projects!! Love your casual demeanor as you encounter significant obstacles and then offer innovative solutions. Can't wait for the next video 👍👍
This guy is the best always positive always having fun!
Glad this popped up in my feed. I saw the original episode. I love the sense of humor with everything. Subscribed , looking forward to the rest of this project.

I genuinely look forward to your uploads. I respect your skills and problem solving capabilities and your humor is on point.
The Lego airplane put this video over the top! Few things make me happier when working on an old vehicle and you have good oil pressure.
I love Low-Buck Garage! It makes my night when a new video premiers. Thank you!
loving this wagoneer series. love your content man 🤘
This is such a great project!
I'm am waiting anxiously for the next video.
Thats a score for $750 mate. Looking fwd to seeing the progress. Cheers.
In Indiana, we don't drive on the left side of the road. We drive on what's left of the road.

I had a few of those Honda bikes when I was a kid, they are great.
I loved the rear view mirror flopping around 😂🎉😅😊

Great advice.
I too have jeeps in the yard but miss my '61 Willy's truck the most. 😢
Love your videos Brothah, hello from Maine
Always love a low buck video, makes me feel more justified in the way I do things!
I almost said "that Jeep is too good to part out"....then you went underneath. Frame looks pretty crunchy
The turbulence simulation was hilarious. I don’t burst out laughing very often but this was one that made my day. Thanks
Great buy on the parts Jeep. Enjoyed the video James 😎👍
Man, I look forward to every new project and episode!!!! Thanks for doing these!!!! We are in Central Virginia!!!!
had fun listening while I worked.
I just found this channel like a week ago, and I've watched so many videos already.
Big fan of junk, and making cool stuff out of it, so this seems like my kind of place.
Its progressing well. So excellent bringing new life to that old Jeep
I'm so glad I stayed for that last little bit.
At 30:54 I am speechless. I'd never have tried it. Good job.
I drove from Cali to Texas and back in a YJ, towing a trailer. Nice and reliable car
As my mother would say , you have the patience of Job.
Man I love your videos. Best car content on TH-cam
Dunno about the cars, but the best for tractors, crawlers, forklifts, various and sundry mechanized toys....

Enjoyed this one 👍🏻
I love this. I adore the new (old) jeep. But my favourite part is the laughter of the child at 11:02
Love your videos! I jumped on this one right away and was not disappointed! Thanks for brightening a grey Wisconsin day!
I'm kind of impressed they had it going at all.
Lots of great footage here. Particularly when you conceived the methos of unloading the jeep out of the trailer.
In honor of David Freiburger that was your ZIP TIE MOMENT !! Driving that cross country does have some pucker factor to it !!
I live for the "we're gonna ignore that for now" moments.
Another bloody great video, and the reminder we all need to go steady and manage the frustration to keep it fun - great advice!
Thanks mate
Thank you for your hard work and creativity. Your videos are like little works of art.🥓🌯🌺
I love the super sketchy load and unload of that Jeep!
I legit asked for this update! Christmas came early! Thanks!!
I love your attempts to blur out the truck lol, you showed the "thrifty" brand and the license plate
Also, love how a previous owner made a P trap out of their filler neck
My morning is complete. I can have lunch now and think about how much I enjoyed the video. 😊👍

Your videos are always inspiring and motivating for new achievements. Thank you for your creativity!🖤🍿😕
I was going to make a sarcastic comment about the Lego dramatizations, until I saw your/your kid's effort into making the Lego truck - nice work, to whichever made all that.
Entertaing, eccentric and over the top mechanical skills.
I operate similarly when working on my vehicles. I take breaks, I think about it when something strips or doesn't loosen. I might take a few weekends to finish the job.
holy cow that entire jeep full of parts was equal or less than just the transmission you wanted holy heck
If YOU'RE having fun..... so are we!!
