Razer Kishi V2 seems like the better option. Seeing how the original can bend, probably why my phone has issues connecting to a charger or controller now
Oh man remote play is nice, but this is so strong that it shines in retro emulation. Also funnily enough you remote played dead cells but that has a native android port. Along with many other games, recommend checking those out. Fun to use as a media device, movies are pretty nice on this screen , I recommend a stand.
I would only be interested in a handheld device that can play games anywhere and on the go vs only when your near a home console. Essentially, it would have to be like the switch haha.
But the question still remains: WHY?? This new push by big companies like Sony and Razer for remote play devices just seems to be a disconnect with the reality of the world we live in. Nearly everyone has a iPhone or android device, both of which can remote play (even low-end devices). Soooo….why do we need a device where all it can do is remote play? At least with emulation devices there is a specific use case that makes sense.
Some of us don't want/like to use our phones to game so this is perfect I got this today and love it. There is a market for this just maybe a bit smaller than expected
I've been using the Razer Edge 5G for a couple of months and my only real complaints is the difficulty to find a good carry case for it and the screen resolution is more phone like and not good for remote play or emulation.
Ok, So from my stand point I'm looking at that this device as it stands alone device that can do Steam, Xbox cloud. G Cloud doesn't do steam and yes it does mobile gaming which is fine. But I rather have a device that's compatible with steam and xbox cloud. So what would you recommend?
The only question for me that remains is... why not just get the controller and use your phone? I emulate on my phone all the time and been looking into cloud gaming, but buying a tablet thats basically a lesser phone makes no sense for me.
I use a Nacon Rig Bluetooth controller on my Z Fold 4 and it's great. Still wish playstation would release a new PSP with dedicated games as well as being able to play ps5 games without using online only. Online only is so laggy and sucks when travelling in the car on long trips. WE NEED A PLAYSTATION PORTABLE 5 that we can play ps5 games without internet. Having to always have internet really sucks.
The big difference between this and a G-Cloud is that it can play native games , which means that you can use emulation and android ports. But since the price is between emulation-consoles and a steam deck, it might not be worth ut för most people anyway.
Can you play all your ps4 games without the ps4 being on as its dying recently just bought this product to play call of duty, fortnight, sims 4 with packs , tribes
I L.O.V.E. Razer and their products… but it’s really hard to see why we’d buy this when their Razer phones could’ve accomplished the same thing. Razer, please bring back your amazing smart phones. I still have and use mine from time to time and if love a refreshed version to continue playing games and daily driving again. We need the Razer Phone 3!
So you can have up to 2tb of storage but you can't actually download any games from Xbox or Steam?? Obviously if you're travelling and in general most people's Wi-Fi isn't going to be great So not being able to download the games makes this thing success a little bit more than the steam deck. Boo sir. Boooooo.
So I'm the guy who bought a Logitech G Cloud and enjoying it. I hate connecting my Kishi V1 to my Pixel 6 Pro because I have to take it out of the case everytime I want to use it. When I do Game Pass streaming on my phone, I hate that I can't back out of the game to look at a guide or video without it cutting the stream. I spent $250 for my G Cloud during the spring sale and at that price, a dedicated streaming + emulator device was really worth it
Bought this at launch (5G version) and use it a lot more than I thought I would. Very nice to be able to play all my PC games around the house with Steam Link on a dedicated device. It is for sure a luxury item... but gaming in a sense is a luxury isn't it?
@@3dtheking To be fair, I got the Kishi V1 as a secret Santa gift two years ago and at the time, I had a Pixel 3a that fit inside it with the case. Now that I upgraded end of last year, I don't feel like I wanted to buy a new controller for my phone because my V1 still worked perfectly fine. I don't regret buying my Logitech G Cloud as the ergonomics on that is suuuper comfortable. Also I'm planning to get a steam deck later this year. Thanks for letting me know about that Game Flex controller. I totally would've bought it if I didn't already have a phone controller!
I'm the same way I started my mobile gaming in 2020 which is crazy to see how far the popular of handhelds as been in the past 3 years along I wanna get the GPD win 4 cause of that PSP inspired build and also the steam deck but I got kinda got small hands so idk if having that is going to be comfortable to old I looked at the aya neo air pro but they coming out with systems like every few months like they remind me of the cell phone market lol how is it with the Logitech G cloud tho I been also looking at that or the ayn Odin pro I just want a system that I can play all my backlog an let my phone be back to being a phone not my do it all I literally made my phone into my gaming handheld with controllers like the glap razor kishi V1 an V2 gamesir x2 an the gaming phone clips I wanna get the game flex cause I hate having to take my case off my phone everytime just to use the controller plus it has a headphone jack to it as well man don't you wish phones can have SD card support again? That would make a difference in game storage idk how many times I'll beat a game just to delete it cause 250 GB is cool but that's internal not external I also wish gaming can go back to the way it use to be where you didn't need a Internet connection in order to play games it's bad enough Internet is getting costly
I find it EXTREMELY difficult to believe this isn't a paid shill video. I bought a Kishi V2. It felt so utterly cheap, the ergonomics are terrible & the buttons and triggers felt like shite - compare this to the best (and I've used all) Switch joycon replacements (because switch joycons are made for little girls) - the Mobapad M6/M8 which can be had for around 40 USD. The difference is night and day. The fact this is being sold as part of a 600 USD product is an absolute joke. Just buy a Switch and/or a Steam Deck (I have & love both) and be done with it. There are no handheld devices which come remotely close right now.
Handhelds have been around since the days of the Game & Watch. Can we please stop this narrative that handhelds are some shiny new toy. The highest selling handheld is the DS and that system came out in 2004.
So, pretty much everybody wants to be a Switch now lol? The system that everybody hates on despite it selling 140 million lol, yeah, that makes lots of sense. Nintendo has everybody chasing the switch dream 😂. No thanks I'm good. I'm passing on the razer edge and all my PC Handhelds are in the bottom of my bin packed up. I'll keep playing my switch and I am waiting on the switch 2.
I mean, if you're gonna drop that much bread just get a steam deck. I literally use mine as a remote device when I'm being too lazy to get on my Xbox and PlayStation
It’s kinda wild that mobile controller attachments go for $100 when controllers for Xbox/ps5/switch go for $60-70
Nah Razer just overprices the hell out of their products
@@materioartwhat about the Backbone controller that's $100 as well for the same thing
@@materioart it’s not just Razer

U r right, depending on cloud or remote play is a big mistake for these companies !
Razer Kishi V2 seems like the better option. Seeing how the original can bend, probably why my phone has issues connecting to a charger or controller now
the problem with all of these is:
You can get a steam deck for 400 dollars (450 with an sd card) and do all of these things AND play games internally.
Oh man remote play is nice, but this is so strong that it shines in retro emulation. Also funnily enough you remote played dead cells but that has a native android port. Along with many other games, recommend checking those out.
Fun to use as a media device, movies are pretty nice on this screen , I recommend a stand.
Why pay for port when u dont have to
Remote play allows me to increase my Xbox achievements.
I would only be interested in a handheld device that can play games anywhere and on the go vs only when your near a home console. Essentially, it would have to be like the switch haha.
Steamdeck then
Your in luck new update for ps portal can play games without a ps5 now
But the question still remains: WHY??

I have a Galaxy Fold, so honestly remote play devices just don't appeal to me when I can just use my phone
$400!? Wow. Maybe it's a good product at half that price.
Does Genshin Impact make use of the controller or is it on screen controls only?
genshin are on screen only, but you can use a app to map the controller to the screen.
Steam deck from wish
The only question for me that remains is... why not just get the controller and use your phone? I emulate on my phone all the time and been looking into cloud gaming, but buying a tablet thats basically a lesser phone makes no sense for me.

I just feel like a backbone with ur iPhone or a $300 pixel 6A is way better of a deal/setup
whats the dualsense adapter named?
Great Alt. Thanks for the link.
how about diablo 2 can i play. and can you local sim card on the device

This better than steam deck?
I think I might get a Kishi for my S23 Ultra and download the app.

i agree if only this thig has mobile connection and not locked to verizon 5g
Xbox won't let you use a blutooth connected Dual Shock 4 or Dual Sense. Just the same as Sony not allowing other non-Sony controllers.
Enjoys haptics. Highly recommends very expensive controller without any rumble of any kind.
Hl i like the Razer Edge, but Happy with my Steam Deck

I feel like if these companies weren't so greedy we could have better equipment and be able to play games the way we want.
How much for the 5g plan?
$20/month or $30/month
Someone please respond so I can play sparking zero online with this?

You should try the gameflex controller you can keep the case on your phone an still use the controller plus it's like the razor kishi V1 but better

How do I play my PS5 games on my big gaming PC that’s goes 8K thanks to the 4090 graphics card Steam Deck has no 8K
As cool as this is, “playing anywhere” is really subjective. It’s massive and it gets like 3 hours of battery.
I find it EXTREMELY difficult to believe this isn't a paid shill video.
