    Great job. I did my 2010 almost 2 years ago used about 8 cans of black
    No clear…. Time to respray because I take my truck through car washes it lessens the life of the dip with the brushes in the car wash

    I took a Brillo pad and scrub with vigorous amount of energy and rinse then put back to black on and it come out great does spray paint or nothing that looks almost as good as or better than when I first bought the 04 Avalanche

    The problem, I'm told. Is the clips that hold tge cladding on....they often break as well as the cladding itself gets damaged when removing

    Just what I was looking for! My true test will be how it holds up with going thru the car wash once a week! Did you get the plastic sheeting from Lowes/Home Depot?

    Do you hand wash your truck or do you go through the car wash machines. Do you notice any chipping in any areas?

    • @RJsGarages
      @RJsGarages  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont wash my trucks. Just let the rain take care of it. So I couldn't help.

    How many cans of the black plasti product and how many of the glossifier did you use for your avalanche..? I don't want to buy more that I'll need. Thank you.

    • @RJsGarages
      @RJsGarages  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it was 6 black and 3 glossifier. Im not exactly sure though, it has been a few months.

      Still looks like the day I did it.
      Well slightly less shine. I may hit it with a can of clear coat if I get time in the next few weeks.

    • @RJsGarages
      @RJsGarages  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey malcolm still going strong 2 years later. I am thinking of hitting it with a new coat of the clear coat. Because it is not as bright as it was.
      Good luck and thanks for watching.

      Still going strong. I may hit it with clear coat in the spring it faded slightly, but still looks nice.
      I did my entire dodge but did not prep good enough everywhere so it is peeling on passanger door and at bottom of bed.

      Still looks great except one spot on the side storage doors, that I slammed into while loading some sharp metal.
      I am going to lightly sand the scratch and reapply to that spot in a few weeks when it gets warmer though.
