(AWESOME) Chevy Avalanche Cladding upgrade.

- Simple video showing some of what went into changing out this Chevy Avalanche’s cladding to a painted Cadillac cladding and making some awesome changes to the third brake light.
The third brake light being huge on the Cadillac Ext allowed for some awesome upgrades. I installed 6 emergency lights with 2 set to work with the brakes. Check it out.

Did you buy the lights on the inside they seem new , if yes where at
what year is your truck? Also with the install of the 3rd light, did you have to do any type of mods to make it fit. I just brought a kit and it does fit my 07
It’s a 2005 no mods to make it work because I used all of the Cadillac parts and they go right on the Chevy.
Good job on the replacement but where did you find the clips to reinstall it and do you have to part number or website
On Amazon I just typed it the vehicle info and used words cladding clips and just matched them up by the pictures on Amazon

I believe your asking about the third brake light. Cadillac made a similar truck but it had this larger brake light like I installed along with painted cladding unlike Chevy that used a very small brake light and didn’t paint all the plastic parts. I just swapped the parts from a junked Cadillac EXT that someone on marketplace was selling parts off of.

How did you get the lights to flash without a flashing module?
Each light has its own built in module you just set the pattern and then every time you apply 12v power it does what you programmed it to do.

What holds the 3rd brake light on, on the bottom?
The cladding that mounts to the back of the cab has several screws that bolts it down to cab and there is about six screws on the inside of that cladding part that holds the third brake light in place
@@TreadOnFire I'm switching mine to the EXT cladding and 3rd brake light also. I was trying to figure out what holds it on on the bottom. I know there are six torx bolts on top of the 3rd brake light.
@@lorettamulkey7508 the Chevy cladding had two bolts and some clips holding the bottom but the Cadillac only had two little plastic pieces that used a double sided tape that clipped to the cladding basically nothing but it seamed to be stable so I didn’t worry to much about it. If it becomes a problem later I will have to modify something to hold it. I’ll video it if I do.
