That phone overlay with the large numbers was for senior citizens so they could easily see the numbers on a phone without having to put on reading glasses. My grandmother used to get them from her local insurance agent back in the day for that reason.
Ah the original green Stanley thermos. Carried the narrow-lidded version to work throughout HS and college. Glass inside which held heat longer, but did make it more vulnerable to drops. 7:30 am sucked and the coffee that filled it made the lumberyard shop a little more bearable. During hs I had a friend who had a CB radio at home and in his car, that would be 84 to 88. If we were cruising around he'd be on it quite a bit. My younger brothers had a Voltron, but I think it was bigger, though I could be wrong. As for transformers, my favorite was the cassette player with the tape that was also a transformer. I was too old for them, but I enjoyed showing my brothers how to transform them. I got Electronic Baseball for my birthday one year, it was the thing I really wanted, and I got to go on my birthday to the store with my parents to get it. Loved it. I may buy one of the new ones.
We haven't been to Mansfield since before the pandemic. We need to go back this summer. Some great finds! Try Barkeepers Friend on those stained cups. It's sold near Comet or Ajax in stores. Or a little Soft Scrub might work too.
I plan on setting up there at Mansfield drive in this fall. I do leather work. Earrings key chains bic lighters holder’s. Waiting for UConn and Eastern to come back to school.
I didn't see if that was a baseball or a football but I remember the footballs I used to have one they were white I'm thinking you're probably right about that brown I think you're right
Nice show, enjoyed it. Always look forward to your next flea market adventure. I always used to find my road signs on the ground by the road years ago. You might try using an ultra violet light overnight on that cup. I've seen youtubers do this on white plastic parts when restoring diecast cars.
I've seen government auctions with road signs, but I'm sure many are, shall we say, sourced in the wild. (No idea about those particular signs though.)
TOY SHARK:
I LOVE!, the toy shark size, and blue-ish coloring. 😍🤩
I'm jealous LOL.
I would put it on my bookshelf.
Plain and simple Tom, I love your videos.

also the numbers used to wear off if they were put inside, so this prevented you from having to buy a new one
this is my neighborhood I was waiting for a youtube video to pop up of the mansfield drive in flea market!
new subscriber. love your channel.. i live in rhode island so it's great to support a neighbor

My mother always bought Tab so that was our drink at the house. I don't remember what it taste like but back then I liked it.
I only live a few miles from the Mansfield drive-in. I’ve been here all my life.
That Roger Staubach , Monday Night Football game looked pretty cool , even though it isn't worth much .

you always walk back to the car, Tom !
14:34 dude! The Mask cars right there!
Your gettin close to 20k so I hope you have the video of your collection almost ready to go
If you ever go to New York City, I recommend visiting its malls, especially the ones in Brooklyn, Queens, and the NYC-adjacent Nassau County.
As always great video 👍

Hey, you left the hand Autographed Elvis Photo behind, near the end. Should be worth at least $1000 if it's right. 😮😊

Tom, a lot of long haul truck drivers still use CB Radios. 19k.....gettin close 👌 👍
Soak it with a dishwasher and caustic soda( add some water), and leave it for a day. It should dissolve the stains and submerge the entire cup.
Yuo should get one of those little wagons just in case you find something a little too big to carry.
I hear Unicorn Tears removes brown staining

5:35 that accents unlimited boo jou theater is 50-75+ shipping depending on condition
in the 90s my friends parents always had tab cause it was cheap then occasionally Diet Pepsi or moxie
That phone overlay is most likely for people with vision issues
Have you tried a Mr Clean eraser on the plastic cup? I wouldn't scrub hard or use it on the graphics though as it might dull them.
Tab soda... had some appeal when at a salt water beach. Regular Coke tasted too sweet in that setting..
11:34 those are great trucks ! hard to find mint... I collect alot of them.
Peroxide and led light will clean plastic cup
Take some whitening toothpaste and a toothbrush to that cup and it should take a lot of the browning off it and shouldn't mess up the image
So blessed as a country. This could all be gone in no time.
Those are ashtrays, not “plates”. 🤦🏻 No offense, because I do enjoy your videos.
