@@fleabittenadventures Also, don’t forget, ebay is going to start charging a 3% buyers premium, so take that into account as ebay continues to screw the buyer…..
If I was at this one booth you were at, I would be buying that Fred Kirby hillbilly tunes because I love country music especially old country music from the 1950s and I believe that to be a 1940s or 50s album
At 12:50 is two Genesee beer adverts (12 Horse Ale and Welcome Hunters) that I myself would have scooped up quickly. Luv that Genny Beer................
You should be adding shipping costs to overall cost of an item. Some eBay sellers do the $0.01 for the item then tack on $29.99 shipping and handling so they only have to refund you $0.01 if what they send you is defective. I tend to stay away from those guys, but sometimes you have no choice.
I'd be interested in seeing comparisons of these flea markets (Mansfield, Brimfield, Stormville, etc) in terms of how busy each one gets during different dates... I mean, a comparison of Mansfield at different times of the year, Stormville at different times of the year, etc if that makes any sense.
Yes, I have multiple videos of each flea market since about 2021. The spring and fall shows are the busiest. The summer shows are the least crowded because it's usually so hot.
@@fleabittenadventures Sounds like it lines up with what a vendor told me when I went to Stormville in September, who skipped the summer months. (Going in September didn't stop the wasps and hornets - running low on foor and becoming more aggressive at that time of the year - from being a pain in the nuts though. 😂) Memorial Day seems to be a prime day in terms of size at least in the case of Stormville. (It's the only one I know currently - watching your videos has expanded my horizons in places to go
@@fleabittenadventures Part of my curiosity actually stems though from when I was little, in the late 90s... went up to Stormville on a dreary, rainy day - and I'll always remember 1) it being a lot smaller, which probably depended on the time of year, 2) that they actually still had airplanes on the field, and 3) the Matchbox American Airlines bus I picked up there that year, and still have. It basically made me curious about the dynamics of these things, the sizes at different times of year.
@@fleabittenadventures Yes. I get it. If it was me I would have bought them immediately, I guess to each their own..good video by the way. I'm definitely subscribing
cool vid. I used to go to Mansfield all the time. No car now. I live in Central Ct. if you go again, Id love to go along, for a fee of course. LOL. Keep up the vids
I admire you for spending time with your mom. Life is short.
Looking forward to part 2.😊
I agree! Thanks for watching!
Oh yes. You're never too old to hangout with your mother. I'm 36 years old and I still see her everyday and go to places with her
I'm still waiting for your glass collection. Must be fun to see all glasses from the old times. Hope you will make the video soon
Soon.. I think. Thanks for the interest!
You and your mom are troopers to go out in the cold! I liked the ‘Easter egg for the upcoming second episode’ on if you got the shark. Well done! :)
Yes, it was brutally cold! Thanks for watching!
As always great video 👍
When I was a kid I got that exact same shark at Woods Hole Oceanographic Musem in the early 90's. That shark "ate" many a G.I. Joe back then!
At the very first vendor, I would've grabbed that old flashlight and the Christmas lights.
Totally missed them
Thanks for the look . Good camera work nice and slow
Thanks!
Loved the giant skull!
Yeah, that was cool
I'd be all about that warhammer. I paint miniatures, love seeing the old stuff.
I don't know anything about Warhammer. Was that one she had worth anything?
@@fleabittenadventures I couldn't get a good look at it. Some of the older ones are worth good money. Mostly the metal ones.
I loved this video I would love too go too this flea market sometime
Thanks! Glad you liked it! The flea market is held every Sunday through November, so you still have time.
This place is pretty good I buy and sell at this flea market, it’s been a couple years since I’ve been but to rate it it’s a 8/10😊
I liked the railroad lamp
Yeah, those are neat.
I remember tab bottle❤❤❤
Yeah, I haven't had a Tab in probably 40 years.
5:22 .. That's the Assman plate from Seinfeld 😂
Yup. I saw that! Good stuff
You should have bought all those Elfquest comics. The condition looked really nice. Worth some money.
I thought they might be worth something. I'll see if they're there next time.
New subscriber here. Great Video. Is this the location where the extravaganza is in CT? Nice big flea market
Thanks! Glad you liked the video and for subscribing. I'm not sure what you mean by the extravaganza though.
Next to the Connecticut Turnpike Sign was an Italian Carved Cameo Shell Lamp. Those can go for $100+ if the carving is nice
Don’t forget about adding in sales tax, too, when mentioning ebay since you have to pay for that, too…..
True

Maybe.... you'll have to find out in the next part.

I was going to go but it's over an hour and I assumed with the wind there would be fewer vendors. I'll hit them later in the spring
There were a decent number of vendors, but yeah, sometime later in the spring would be better

Hello❤❤❤
Hey!
You have to watch out with eBay people just throw prices at the wall and hope the price sticks!
For sure. I only go off of sold auction prices though.
A lot of junk there!
Yup, but I like digging through the junk to find the good stuff.
Kinda blew the Easter egg bit with the spoiler alert.
I got an atari 2600 heavy sixer that day for $7 bucks
Good deal!
You should continue to state full price (shipping) it’s the actual price you are paying.
Thanks. I agree. If the sale price is $10, but then they charge $12 shipping and tax, you're paying $22 for the item, not $10.
Please look at the fishing stuff
I miss home 🙁
Is it busy on Easter there? Questioning if I should go
Sorry for the late reply. I'm not sure. Never been there on Easter before.
@@fleabittenadventures yeah it was! Went today (Easter) had some great pickups!

You find any model trains in there too?
Sometimes, but not this time

How do you sell❤
How do you sell at this flea market? I'm not sure. They have a Facebook page you can check out. That will probably tell you. Thanks.

Well, then that bar is a bit past its best buy date.
