I wish Asus put an Atom x7 in this instead of the x5. The only bad thing about this is that it would be slower than the old Surface 3 that Microsoft recently discontinued.

Got a few Q's- Is it optimized for screen mirroring with Chromecast? -Can you use all the apps from the Android Play Store? -I don't like Windows, so can I get it with an Android OS?

really disappointed they didnt add a usb type c to the tablet they had a ton of room to also add another 2 usb ports
i'm surprised at that too. luckily with a full size port tho you can add your own usb c or any lower performing devices if need be.

Love the device, but the clock does not keep time and video refresh sucks. Even after two full factory resets same problems exists. Also i would like to see a longer power supply cable as the distance from wall power source to most tables (or couches) makes it hard to comfortably use the device. For the value, great buy. Can't wait for the 12.x" model when it comes out.

Connor LloyI I don't know about the hi book 12 but the hi book 10 that I have is is really crappy when it comes to WiFi. it disconnected on me several times and would never give me the full speed of my internet when it is connected. I actually got a ethernet adapter and then it worked fine. Again, this is the hi book 10 not hi book 12, but take that however. Also, everything else was fine on the tablet though.

This looks great but is PAINFULLY slow for the price. You could buy a similarly spec'd 2-in-1 for half the price... it just wouldn't look as pretty.

I dont see too much advantage with FHD , the screen is too small even scaling the words to 200% its still hard to watch, and some apps will have super small icons, and it drains more battery, 1280x800 is comfortable for most times
yes im guessing thats why they choose that resolution because its a sweet spot.
it makes a huge diffrence when you output it to a monitor or tv the quality is good for the tablet but not for anything else atleast give us 1080p make the bigger one 1440p or higher it would make the clairity of the words and quality for movies as well as everything else look better
It should be able to do 1080p output (I bloody hope so anyway), I've got a 5 year old similar form factor that can output HDMi at 1080p, above it's on screen resolution. Got my t102 arriving in a few days so will have to try it out.

Comprei o zenfone 2 esperando ter um bom aparelho em maos, que nada! Alem de inúmeras incompatibilidades por causa do processador intel, a assistência técnica (Pegatron) é uma porcaria! Ja fiquei quase um mês sem cel, que comprei para trabalhar, ele só da defeito! Além da assistencia ter quebrado minha pelicula de vidro! :) Agora estou enfrentando novamente problemas e a empresa se recusa a me oferecer outro aparelho ou entao meu dinheiro de volta, eu nao quero mais esse aparelho! Tenho muitos produtos asus e sinceramente fico muito chateado por ter confiado em vocês e agora só passar dor de cabeça, e nao sou só eu que, além de alguns problemas de hardware vem enfrentando varios problemas com software onde a asus simplesmente lançou uma atualização toda ruim (cheia de bugs, impossível de usar o celular) mesmo depois de varios avisos dos beta testers. Incompetência total!

So this is a knock off of a surface with way shittier hardware? I don't understand why Asus is such a relevant company. Your PC hardware (mobos, GPUs) are completely unreliable. I've had to RMA literally every component with your name on it. Further more your phones and tablets are garbage and are blatant cash grabs with shitty poorly executed products. One day people will wake up to see they are paying premium for subpar products.
It's a competitor to the surface 3 (non pro) and it's got pretty much the same hardware. Only they trade out the higher res screen for a fingerprint sensor and an included pen and keyboard, you have to pay separately for the keyboard and pen on the surface Series.
Also I've never had an issue with an asus product. Have 3 of their laptops, a wifi card, a graphics card, a HDDVD/blu Ray combo drive, among other things, and they all work flawlessly to this day.
