      Both are sitting in my office in their boxes unopened while waiting for me to pick which one I’m going to keep.
      This video has convinced me to keep the 39” and return the 45”.
      UPDATE: After using them in person, I kept the 45”.
      PPI difference between the two isn’t noticeable, LG service remote lets you bump up the brightness considerably, AND, DSR in Nvidia control panel lets me upscale the resolution to 4K for productivity which is glorious, and then go back to 1440 for gaming.

    ULTRAWIDE. Currently rocking the LG 45GR95QE-B and I don’t think I can go back to a smaller gaming monitor. The way it just perfectly wraps around your field of view makes it hella immersive. Not even my 4K LG C2 42inch can match it in raw immersion feel IMO.

    ULTRAWIDE, I just returned the 34 inch because Best Buy had a sale on the 39 inch for $999. The 34 inch was beautiful, I cannot wait to game on my 39 inch since I am going to be running my rig with Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 4090 with 64gb of ram 6000 MHz. I am a huge LG fan since all my TV's in my house are LG OLED, the G series is amazing for gaming and these monitors remind me of my G series OLED. ULTRAWIDE! Thank you for the side by side, brother! I got the 45GS96QB-B on Sunday and was wondering if I should exchange it for the 39". For me, the PPI is acceptable and the immersion on the 45" is unreal! I threw Forza Horizon 5 and MSFS on it yesterday and the girlfriend and I were in awe.
    The 45GS over the 45GR lost the remote, but gained speakers and a USB C uplink, instead of USB-B. It also has the updated specs as the 39GS, just for reference.

    My home battle was between the 34" NANO IPS and the 34" & 39" 2024 OLED. Kept the 39", love it. The 4090 really bullies it around so easily. When I am using it for web content etc., I just move it back some and the PPI issue is completely resolved post windows text tuning. Never touched the 45" because its so much bigger & taller than the 32" G7 I was replacing and was just looking for more width. It's just too large for how close I like to be without having to move my head and eyes a bunch. IMHO, the 39" is a gaming life hack.

    I got the 39" for 1000 over memorial day weekend. Couldnt pass up on that deal! It's amazing and definitely looks stunning. My only gripe about it is that the connections in the back are to low and instead of sticking straight back they stick down and if your hdmi or display por cables are on the siffer side, they can't be hidden that easily.

  • @noidsuper
    @noidsuper 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    39 inches seems Iike the perfect size and form factor for me. It’s a shame it’s nigh on impossible to use it without a 4090. 1440p already looks pretty bad on a 27 inch monitor on games with TAA, so I can’t imagine how bad it would look at that ppi. The only way to get acceptable image clarity is using DLDSR, but at 5k x 2160 even a 4090 struggles.

    It's not 1500 nits,nor 1700 nits, not even close. You are using other units of measurement.

    21:9 with 1440p resolution shouldn't be larger than the 34" models. Pixel density goes down quite a bit for monitor use. On a tv, it's not that bad, but for a momitor, both of these models are a hard pass for me.

    This is trash why would they even bother with 1440p!??? 1600p at the minimum would have been fine. Now i am thinking of holding off since I do work and game on my rig i feel like the resolution will bother me. Rumors have it that they will release a 4k version at the end of this year or Q1 next year

      I use one and I prefer this over the 34 in wide screen for pc gaming. For productivity you need to enable the clear text feature on Microsoft and it’s fine for me. I view my documents in larger than A4 size

      @@cognacbrown well, gonna pay 1k+ for a 39-45 inch monitor with a low resolution, 4k is already low for 39-45 😂. That's less ppi than a 1080 monitor which look like shit.
