Well there's your mistake; you're wearing $430 headphones to the gym. Good luck getting new ones if they fall off your head and break.
You are completely right. In my opinion, other types of headphones can be used for the gym and not necessarily $400. Also because I don't think you go to the gym to listen to music at the highest quality.
With how much you sweat at the gym, wearing anything but earbuds is stupid asf
I have used quiet comfort 45 for the gym going on 3 years now. They never broke. I’d throw them in my backpack. Just sold them today mint condition and got the ultras. Bose is sturdy.
I go to the gym and see people wearing headphones while working out & sweating 😓 and honestly I just don't understand the reasoning behind even considering that as an option.....a nice set of quality earbuds that stay put, water resistant & are comfortable are clearly a significantly better option...... I did though find the new Quietcomfort headphones on sale for 249.00 over the past weekend and they are outstanding at that price point....... thanks for the excellent video & have a great day!
I never understand before, but not sure if my current earbuds are too old or what, it doesn’t give the bass like it used to and I really need the bass to push through a weak day. now I switched to headphones and the bass are amazing. Wish they are more secure thought.
@yiqiao7513 I personally love both headphones & buds, although headphones can easily get very warm on the ears depending on the environment........ making them less than idealistic for working out and that's without yet mentioning clamping force and durability of the headphones constantly getting wet & how you take of them...... I personally own the Bose Quietcomfort Ultra earbuds and they sound fantastic with plenty of bass and have a IPX 4 rating, are plenty comfortable & secure. The only downside I've found with these so far are the multi-point connection & wireless charging, neither of which really effect me so they're perfect 👌.........I would look around for some new buds for your workouts & bass fix and on a budget I would suggest looking at Soundcore...... have a really nice day!
Agreed, not really a consideration for the vast majority of potential buyers. Maybe for a light workout at home, but not wearing them to the gym.
I can't wear earbuds but I would NEVER use my headphones like that.
I agree using these at the gym is a big mistake. I unfortunately wear in the canal hearing aids due to severe hearing loss from a young age. I’m 60 and purchased the 2023 model quietcomforts over the ultra due to them being $130 cheaper. I walk 10 miles a day 7 days a week and yes my ears start to sweat even in an indoor controlled climate track. I take mine off and wipe down the ear pads and my ears every few miles but working out in these would never work out. I wish I could do the earbuds and I’ve tried them all but without my hearing aids in I can barely hear my music at full blast. Nice thing about the over ear is I can leave my hearing aids in. My personal preference is the 2023 model quietcomforts. Extremely comfortable sound amazing even with my hearing loss and cheaper than the ultras. Yes I did try the ultras and returned them for the quietcomforts as I heard and felt zero difference. The volume slider on the ultra is super sensitive and personally I prefer the buttons.
The Bose QC Ultras are amazing.
Great headphones got them yesterday when I sent my nc 700's back for free and I only listen to them at home when I'm out with all of the violence today I like hearing my surroundings
I’m considering upgrading from my Bose QC 45s in black that I’ve had for over two years to the new Bose ultra headphones in Sandstone colour
Nobody cares bruv. Do your research, make your decision as confidently as you can and just do what you will.
@@X-Sannin117 NO need to be rude, dude.
@@jaywhite1141 you’ve got a point… I could’ve said;”I’ve got the new QC Ultras in the Sandstone color and I like it enough. The new model is fairly comfortable around the head. Sound improvements are marginal yet still noticeable. End of the day, your choice to upgrade or whatever on your terms. No one makes that decision for you. Enjoy regardless.”
Currently at $329 but debating on just getting the xm4 for $198
Sorry to hear they suck for the gym. Which brand do u prefer for the gym then?
Good questions was thinking on making a video specifically for this but some options I would recommend.
Premium: SONY XM4
Mid Tier: Beats Studio Pro (the last 3 Prime days they go down to $169. they are not worth $350 but at 169 so worth it
Budget friendly: JBL Tune 510 ( think they are like $39 🤣
hope this helps and maybe I'll make a more detailed video on this
The best gym headphones are Beats, for university and lifestyle, these Bose Ultras, and for traveling, the Sony XM5s.
Just bought them, $50 off at best buy 🙌
Nice! Them Black Friday deals coming in Early!! 🙌
Just give me $500 then. Even with $50 off!
You just missed the Cyber Monday Deal at Bose website 😅 Cheaper now.
Any overear headphones arent good good for workouts
In ear earbuds are the best-selection has to be which one fits well in your ear and doesnt fell off with rapid headshaking
Nice video. Does it support Apple Lossless Music?
How are they holding up with sweat. I want to use them for the gym i called bose and ome rep claimed IPX4 resistance then another rep said none. I just want to use them as in ears dont sound as good nor block out noise as good as these.
did you figure out because samr
price aside should I go for the QC ultra or the Airpod max? rjn I have wh1000xm5
If you have the wh 1000xm5, then you dont need anything else. But since you got covered with one of the best ANC, the you go get good sound quality through airpod max
Does the Shokz Openfit survive the jump rope test😮?
Open fit easily passes all three movements ✅
@@Aesthetic_Al legend, thanks
Worse video i watched in a while. The guys is jumping with the headphones and whining that it is falling
Price in UK direct from BOSE - with a code - less than £285. 4/10/24
These are obviously not meant for active wear. There are other headphones for working out
I can see from your magic mouse and keyboard that the qc ultra are not white, are they?? They look slightly cream or sand??
They aren’t not white or silver. Like a beige/white
Which I like if it was a pure white i would worry about taking these in the gym
@@Aesthetic_Al guess what! Ended up getting them!! 🤩🤩🤩
i love wearing mine to the gym. what i dont like is the immersion mode is the same wether its in still mode or motion.
Immersion mode overall was a bit over hyped IMO.
@@Aesthetic_Al I couldn't agree more.
for music. like for the gym, do i use immersive audio? or just listen to music without immersive audio?
I prefer without
These headphones are NOT for gym.
can you use these wired? if you buy a connector to the phone ofcourse
It needs to be on for it to be used wired
I glaaad to find someone review the headphones in gym please more of that , my concern about is it wet resistant?
Really appreciate it bro.(Just dropped another headphone 💎 Bose doesn't list any IPX rating on these which has be concerned. I've used them for 3 months and no issues.
This guy cannot be serious
$300 and under?
They are $50 off for Black Friday but still a bit pricey imo at $379
@@Aesthetic_Althey are now at $500 buckaroos man plus tax
@houman2009 they are on sale at Bose website today even on QVC
Where can I dislike the video (not the headphones!)
Click it twice 😉
Can u use those for gym? I heard they are not sweat resistant
I've been using them for almost 2month as my daily headphones. So I must have took them to over 20 gym sessions. Bose doesn't have an IPX rating on these (But for over the ear headphones its common for manufactures not to list that). But you should be fine. As I shared in the video tho they do fall off a lot more comparing it to my XM4s and Beats Studio Pro.
@@Aesthetic_Al ok thank u I also took mine to gym, was a little mad on how fast they scratch did you also have that problem?
Hi how can i mite the mic
I wouldn't wear headphones in the gym. Especially 400 dollar ones.
Are you saying Buttons or Buttums?
Why wouldyou ever try that on the gym? It not designed for that obviously.. .. its like running but your wearing a golf shoes.. sheez
Just bought it in black 😏
Nice! Let me know how it does with finger prints? I have my Beats Studio Pro in black, so for this went with something different on these.
Your review and arguments are poor and only based on feelings and already known generality
Yeah, WTF these are not and I repeat not work out headphones why would you even try to wear these headphones in the gym? I don’t know whatever crazy these are either home or travel your headphones not work out so your review is completely invalidated by the primary aspect of, using them for the Jim which she could’ve stated like a single sentence like these were good for the gym obviously but
I have work out with headphones, but earbuds is better. As long as they have a good fit in your ear.
