    I think the mental blocks are the hardest to work through. It's out mind that seems to hold us back the most, but once we master our thoughts, we can success in our physical (earth) goals and our spiritual (fire) goals. Our mind get in the way of accomplishing our goals, and it gets in the way of "enlightenment."

      Yes, and to your point, this is why the suit of Swords is filled with so many "hard" and "difficult" and "bad" cards! Thanks for posting your thoughts.

    A long time ago, a friend of mine and I were watching something maybe it was judge Judy, and she said, "its over, put a period on it and move on." We loved that and said it so often. I think that fits very well for 10 of swords.

    Nice interpretations. I think this is a suit that is badly represented pictorially in the Rider-Waite deck, which DOES make it very negative.

    • @TarotQueen100
      @TarotQueen100  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think Swords are tricky any way you look at it. The mind is a "mine field" of perceptions, assumptions, and blind alleys, occasionally hitting upon a truth here and there. I often think that complexity and potential negativity needs to be depicted in the Tarot, as a warning against negativity if nothing else.

    I was told two of swords means being stuck between two possibilities and not knowing which to choose and being blind and can't tell.

    • @TarotQueen100
      @TarotQueen100  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Spanishfly That certainly is one possible interpretation of the 2 of Swords. No card in the Tarot has only one meaning, which is part of the beauty and part of the challenge of working with the cards. The 2 of Swords in particular has a wide variety of interpretations ranging from “being in denial” to “having peace of mind,” the latter having a “positive” vibe and the former, seemingly “negative.”

    If I may. With the 7 Of Swords, nothing is spoken of the yellow background color or for which it stands.

    • @TarotQueen100
      @TarotQueen100  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well yes, and that is an important aspect of this card. The color yellow in the RWS of the Tarot can indicate consciousness, awareness, and/or intention. You have noticed that this is the only Sword card in the
      RWS deck with this background; we can conclude that the person in the card does his "tact/deceit/half-truth/lies with full intention and awareness of what he's doing!

    • @TarotQueen100
      @TarotQueen100  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Swords are all about how and what we're thinking, how our mental processes inform our reality. Lots of swords challenge us to look at how/what we're thinking and if it is helpful and true. People, in general, don't like the swords much, but they're here to help us examine "what is true." Thanks for posting your comment.

  • @YogiRed
    @YogiRed 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    is Ace of swords the same as Page of swords? If so, if the page of swords comes up in health, how would you read that?

    • @TarotQueen100
      @TarotQueen100  9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      +YFabu While there are similarities and connections between some cards in the Tarot, the Ace of Swords and the Page of Swords aren't the same thing. The Ace is the clear, sometimes harsh aspect of the Truth, whereas the Page is "child of air/swords" and as such can indicate the presence of thinking creatively, speaking without thinking first, rude speech, and/or brainstorming. As you can see, there is a wide variety of possible interpretations on that Page. In VERY general terms, I'd suggest thinking about health in new ways, or commutating your wants and needs around health in new ways. Possibly begin researching new options, these kinds of things.
      Good luck, and thanks for your question.

      Swords in the Tarot are about how we think, process, and understand/resolve things mentally rather than emotionally or through being willful. Six swords in one reading says to me that the mind is struggling to come to terms with something. It may be that "thinking it through objectively" may help, or perhaps the mind is doing a number on us ... it's been known to happen.

    Everyone gives so many different defenitions about the Cards its confusing

    • @TarotQueen100
      @TarotQueen100  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is true. Tarot is a system with some set parameters but one we each use in our own personal way, depending on our belief systems, personal preferences, and whatever way intuition speaks to us as individuals. This makes Tarot both a universal and uniquely personal experience. We/you have have permission to take what works for us/you (card meanings, methods, interpretations, etc...) and ignore what doesn't.
      Carry on. :)
