I've been pondering on the 3 of swords for a bit. To me, the positive of the card is the breakthrough aspect of this pain. Considering the knowledge aspect of swords, it being like a very uneasy truth that can no longer be denied.
Like how the body sends us pain signals because something is wrong, this heartache shows that that unstable peace of the 2 of swords is broken. The blindfold is off. The cat is out of the bag, and it hurts.
The negative side might be focusing only on the pain, trying to get back to the 2. Or not being able to move forward because of external factors. Being forced to stay in that impossible situation. But now not in the bliss of denial, but painfully aware that you can't move forward.
Pain has a function. It gives us insight.
And then the 4 can be allowing yourself to rest, regroup, mourn what is lost and what could not be.
To take that knowledge you now have, and just sit with it for a bit by yourself.
To me the colour of the window in 4 also shows a kind of promise of colour and people and solace that will be there for you after you've come out of this.
I hope this made sense at all.. 😅

And whereas perhaps the positive version of the 3 of swords could be the knowledge that this breakthrough is for the best, like breaking up a relationship that you know won't work. The negative could be that there is no positive to the situation, the knowledge that something is just lost. Like if it wasn't *you* who felt a relationship wouldn't work, or if you have an illness you have to come to deal with, or in some other ways knowing that something is lost that was actually good.

Muy bueno el video. Con relación al DOS de ESPADAS, también agregaría "sabe que debes tomar una decisión" que duele. En el TRES se siente de dolor de la decisión.

You definitely help me! This was difficult for me because I have to imagine each Card to understand the meanings. These last 5 we're intense! Thank you!

In the 3 of swords, it has shown a heart break. If we take the sword as a representation of conviction or will or belief or a choice. then in the 4 of swords, he lay down his previous beliefs to find new beliefs to re evaluate or re check his own decisions or own beliefs after reading scriptures or visiting a holy or a wise person, then found 3 new beliefs after letting go of his previous beliefs. then he fought in 5 of swords and defeated his previous enemies

    Something about triads:
I suppose triads to be very powerful relationships. Actually children need to get into them to prosper. The Celtic wise folks taught in triads. We have the three fates, the three acts of play, the three stages of life. Body, mind, soul. A chair stands stable with three legs ...
We're just really bad to handle triads culturally. We tend to use just the easiest way to discern: Us - them, subject - object, good - bad (or evil), humanity/culture - nature, inward - outward, exoteric - esoteric, either - or, male - female. Even balance needs a third force to keep "opposites" or "polarities" in equilirium. We don't recognise that often enough. The focus on the two, the perceived stability of the two is what leads things to crumble. Excluding the third doesn't work in the long term. That why couples often get into crisis mode when a child enters their relationship. That's also why intersex, trans (and especially nonbinary folks among them) face so many troubles.
The drama started with the fragility of the two in the first place and not being able to see what could balance them in a healthy way (the 2 of sword is blind).
... by the way: The William Blake Tarot has a very fitting key word for the three of this suit: Jealousy.
... I added the "PAX" to my Golden Rider with a permanent marker. This is imho a important detail. Thanks for making aware of. (Blake key word for the 4: Repose.)
Oh ... your addition of other decks in the first videos had been of great value. Even thou you didn't use them this time as much as in the last videos ... I found myself adding some.

Hi I’m just learning tarot, i’m slightly confused on why ppl have opposite Interpretations on the elements for the masculine court cards? You say fire is the kings element and knights are the air but others say Vice versa?
Does mean it’s not set in stone and it’s what you feel like it represents? I understand that sometimes people use the wands for air and swords for fire 🤯 It can get quite confusing when information is conflicting with each other!
(Btw loving these lessons 🙏 so grateful for your interpretations)

    • @sacredtarot
      @sacredtarot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

There are different systems where assigning the elements are concerned. As you say, some decks and systems designate Swords as fire, others as air and it's the same with the Court Cards. I've gone with the systems most widely used for these lessons. Ultimately it's not set in stone - go with whichever system works best for you.

    The suit of Swords
I invite you to look at the 10 minor arcana of the suit of Swords as a journey of 10 steps from old to new thinking
Looking at the how each card leads to the other card to get more connected to the journey of the mind from seed to death of old thinking rebirthING fresh with new thinking, a new thought leading to new thinking
    Ace of Swords new thought?
    2 of Swords insight?
    3 of Swords incongruent/incompatible thinking?
    4 of Swords meditation?
5 of Swords parting of old thinking?
6 of Swords journey into the new thinking?
7 of Swords escaping old thinking?
8 of Swords revealing old thinking?
9 of Swords Mourning old thinking?
    10 of Swords new thinking?
I ask you to consider 2 of Swords
As a pictorial representation of thinking
Thinking about the gift of the Ace of Swords and old thinking
3 of cards is realisation that old thinking is incompatible with what knows in heart to be true, also incompatability of old and new thinking, she then goes off to meditate in the 4 of Swords This revelation of the 3 of Swords
The meditation leads to distinct parting of old and new thinking, 5 of Swords
The 6 of Swords is the journey from the choppy to smooth
Which starts with escaping the circus of Old thinking 7 of Swords
Into acknowledging through insight how binding the old thinking was 8 of swords
9 of Swords Mourning the revelations of Old thinking and releasing any old thinking
10 of Swords the absolute death of Old thinking
Fresh for the new horizon thanks to this new information of the Ace of Swords

I mentioned in the comments section on (I THINK) lesson one introduction to etc, that I was coming back to Tarot after many many years so i hope I am not getting ahead of myself here when I offer this comment, I was looking at the 5 of Swords and I thought of an alternative interpretation. There is one figure with all the swords and he appears triumphant, BUT while he has all the swords, does he have any friends/allies? He is after all alone with his swords while the others leave together. Just a thought, I'd be interested to know what others think

    • @sacredtarot
      @sacredtarot  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I think the card can be more ambiguous than it first looks. You're right about the man with all the swords. He looks like the winner but is he really? If he's isolated and unpopular that makes him a potential loser.
