AW, great and helpful video! Sadly my shirt of choice was not included in this video. I wear polo style shirts more often than button ups. I'm hoping you guys can help me with two problems! The collars on my polo's are becoming misshapen and the collar tips are starting to curl, pointing outwards or upwards. I've tried ironing them and even adding some starch without success. Could it be something as simple as the hangers or a combination of that and something else? I only have those plastic hangers with the straight or flat surface from which the shirt hangs. The hangers I grew up with had a raised area close to the hook that kind of mimics the shape of a neck, where it rises from the shoulders. I'm guessing that those curves were meant to support a shirts collar. Am I way off base? Can you please help me out with some suggestion, or maybe a crash course in the do's and don'ts when hanging collared shirts? Including how to keep the collar tips from curling up? Thank you very much!

If you're going to hang your pants upside down the pins will eventually damage/leave marks on your pants. Same with hanging T-shirts with clothespins. They always leave this wrinkled looking mark.

Is there any type of Hanger that is better to prevent these shoulder nipple marks and stretching of clothes and skirts / dresses or better ways of hanging it? Do thicker and padded hangers work better ?
If you're talking about t-shirts, better to fold them. But if you want to hang them, yes, thicker ones can help. However, the important thing to take note of is how wide your hanger should be so that the tips of the shoulder of the shirt actually rests at the tips of the hanger.

If I have to hang my pants folded I use a paper towel cardboard roll over the hanger and it helps to keep the crease out

I hang most of my clothes except sweaters, warm ups or any thick material. It's easier to find them when they're hung.

I use wooden suit hangers with wide shoulders for sweaters and they are fine. Been doing it for years and have no issues with it.
