    I just wanted to drop by and give a big thank you to Ms. Hill. Using this method, I was able to teach my 9 year old son to ride his new BMX bike in 3 and a half hours over 2 days. I'm telling all of my parent friends about this video and sharing it around.

    I feel personally this is the best video tutorial/course on how to get young kids riding a bike without any tears and tandrums. I really had wish I was taught this way when I was younger. I have managed to teach both my girls how to ride in a couple of weekends even after them using stabilisers on bikes for such a long time.

    Hi hunny, sorry I didn't report back sooner been manic! I was totally inspired as I said before and determined to get my 5yr old daughter riding. SHE IS COMPLETELY STABILISER FREE!!!! it took no time at all i am amazed!
    As I was at a meeting and got an email from my hubby of her riding for the 1st time unaided pedalling so happily. Her smile was as big as the world. I watched, through floods of tears, in delight as my baby girl rode so proudly and confidently.
    Thank you xx

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! In 3 sundays my 8yr old autistic daughter has gone from panicking about no stabilisers to riding without them happily. Today she merrily cycled around the carpark we practice in whilst her little sister practiced her scooting on her balance bike. She has done so well and I am just thrilled with her (added bonus, all this biking has meant she is sleeping much better!).

    Great video. Used this technique to teach my daughter today. She went from nothing to riding on her own in 2 hrs. So pleased!

    I watched this morning with tears of joy, thinking how simple and yet so effective this is and the thought of my daughter's face when she completes this this summer. Starting today!!!! Totally inspired xx

    Thanks, this helped me and I'm 9 years old only but I watched this anyway. I gave me the idea to try instead of giving up, but my dad wouldn't make it fun no matter how many boogies I give him! Anyway, he still made it very simple indeed. Thanks Katy Hill and Kaya for helping me ride a bike!😉

    Thank you so much, in November I tried to teach my daughter how to ride her bike, and it was a disaster. It ended with both of us not wanting to continue, and the bike sitting in the garage until September. However, after watching your video, we tried again and we had so much fun. We even played a game that involved her riding from place to place using magic to capture bad guys. Your video is great.

    Thank you. Got my 5 year old cycling without stabilizers within a week. She insists on looking at the video before every "lesson" to see what she what she has to do today to get to pedals on bike (and to check Daddy is doing the bits he is supposed to be doing)

    Woooow! ! ! it was amazing. My son (5 Yrs) learned to ride a cycle to the balance level within a week. Now he has to just find his minimum momentum to sustain moving with pedals. It is a long process to get used to, he has to explore and improve his balance with a slow moving bicycle. We just followed your instruction (like 1..,2.., 3.. Legs up!!! commands) . It worked so well without a single fall he learned the critical part of cycling. Great information to share with. Thankyou Katy.

    Unfortunately it'll take me longer to find a nicely sloping grassy hill around here, but im definitely going to take off the pedals and give that a go....

    • @ShermanSitter
      @ShermanSitter 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      the fact that we live in a world without grassy hills is the real shame. We have covered our world in concrete and asphalt. though i am a roadie, so i suppose i can't complain too much! :)

    Katy, I don't have children but I have a 32 yo spouse who has never NEVER ridden a bike in her life until she moved to the states (Dec 2014). I started with training wheels and she just kept leaning to one side until she finally stopped out of fear she'd fall (which she never did); we removed the training wheels and she fell like a rock in a pond because she could never balance herself; then I removed the pedals and we're trying the balancing things now. Will your exercise in learning how to ride work if I can convince her to keep working on the balancing stage? She had me put the pedals back on but she still doesn't know how to balance... any suggestions? Thanks. Love the vid.

    In my day, it was placed on a bike that you could just manage to get on, and we’re pushed and told to stay on, you dare to fall off as the street kids are watching hoping for a crash.

    In a descent like this, even if on the grass, a child who does not know how to ride a bike, not this child who is already very good, could break into her shoulder and fall to the side. Not sure enough. Much better than STWheels

    so yeah i feel like the whole talking of the peddels is kind of not the best way because mostly its a waste of time. seriously go google pedal magic and yeah you can apparently littreally learn to ride a bike in less then 10 min. heck some kids learn in 2 min or so.

  • @SMARTTRAININGWHEELS
    @SMARTTRAININGWHEELS 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    To learn to ride a bike, children need to practice cycling safely. With these STWheels destabilizers they learn automatically
