I agree 100%. I love people who complain to people such as "arghgh if you don't have thousands on the side don't get into this hobby arghgh" it's like man, do you think I decided to put an engine on a bicycle because I'm just swarming in cash right now? I would of went electric if it wasn't so expensive.
I went with gas and absolutely love it. I was talking to my sister about my bike and honestly, if I went through every part on the bicycle and engine I don't think I've touched $500.

@@MikeNBikes I went from 2000 Buell M2 Cyclone (needs lot$ of work) and still have running 1985 Yamaha xj700 to a motorized bicycle. I can't afford registration & insurance right now....ebike= too expensive and too easy to break, wears out quickly.

If they want your gas all they have to do is pull the fuel line off and drain it. The locking gas cap is just for show at that point.

As stated, this isn't supposed to stop someone from stealing your gas. Go ahead, steal my $4 in gas. What I don't want is to be outside of a store and some kid thinks it's funny to pour God knows what in it. Someone would have to destroy the gas cap, and at that point you would know to not start your engine.
I live in a big city where it isn't some small town and everybody is nice and respectful of each other. It's a small investment to ensure nobody will tamper with it.
Let me guess, someone could just remove the cap, take off the fuel bowl, pour stuff in, close it up and put it back on?
