Hey Alice me and my mom live in Washington State up highway 14 we was on our way up to my sister's up in Marysville Washington and my mom wanted to keep an eye out for you or Martin and rest areas and on the road she even saw one truck that looked like yours so she had me turn around drive back and find out if that was your truck and come to find out twenty miles later it wasn't so we turned around went back she's really enjoys your guyses videos so please keep up the good videos for her you guys are awesome it sometimes takes her mind off the pain she's in
Just stopped for my 30 minute break and I am in Ohio will make it to west Virginia I think tonight before I have to stop I will be home if every thing goes right late tomorrow or early Thursday morning then but can't unload till Friday then trailer goes gets service and truck Also going to shop for service

I noticed the car that is covered in the garage. I have one covered in my shop that has the trunk covered with all kinds of stuff. I see I am not the only using the trunk and hood as a shelf. You and Martin doing a great job on the videos.

I feel for ya brother, I had half my right lung removed 6 months ago. Recovering is slow but steady, just 1 tumor that had not spread yet, it does get better. Doc's found it when I crashed my motorcycle and they did a CT scan, so nice huh ?? Best of luck with whatever you got going on.

HWY 29 in Wisconsin , between Wausau and Abbotsford are terrible . Supposed to be rebuilding that stretch this summer
Tell Martin to get you a Milwaukee battery bolt cutters. Then you don't have to lug around those big bolt cutters.

I've never been out west, for me biggest POS
road i haven driven on was I77 from Cleveland going south.
That road looked like a squadron of B-29's carpet bombed it. It didn't have pot holes, it had craters.
Remember the winter during the summer when you’re likely complaining about heat!
I think we all do complain about the weather…
Addendum - seeing ice on headlights at 26:42 - had that happen to me on Cape Cod on my car a few years ago. Came out from a meeting downtown and it seemed like my lights were not working right. Stopped after a half mile and found them covered in ice!

Tyler was hungry. He wanted socks and keys for supper. That made Tyler a happy truck! Your right tail light on Tyler was out when you hooked up. I imagine Martin already has it fixed, he seems to always be on top of stuff. This winter has been really weird where I’ve been working too. Have a good ride and keep smiling it’ll make folks wonder what you’ve been up to.

1. we have bunk heaters, 2. we've have one in the shed for over a year now he hasn't had time to put it on.

Alice, you may have said and I missed it, but why do you and Martin run so much at night ? Is it less traffic or another reason ?
It just works out how the trailers are loaded if it loaded at night you leave when it’s loaded
some people indeed prefer nights because of lighter traffic. But in general in the USA (and Canada) there's a 24 hour economy. It's mostly concerned to be 'normal' to work nights or weekends for the same pay and lot's of loads are collected during the day in a certain area and reloaded to go long distance over night.
You may want to have Martin change your right tail light.. I’m surprised you haven’t talked Martin into changing the fifth wheel yet.. .. you’re doing an amazing job in this industry.. hats off to you and your husband.. you two are awesome and I love your content

Suggestion… run trailer landing gear down first before pulling 5th wheel. Eases pressure on lock
Not a driver myself but multiple TH-cam drivers have shown that gear should be left about an inch above ground on dropping it so how would that help 5th wheel?
@@JohnHallgren it is only a suggestion with trailer weight slightly off fifth wheel may make pull easier.
I was told to ALWAYS push against it in reverse gear with the trailer on brakes.

WY l-80 potholes, is it a violation to drive the left lane to avoid potholes of course until somebody is ready to pass?
Yes, it is. All highway signs are to be read and understood as meaning exactly what they state and being literal in meaning unless otherwise posted. I, myself have traveled many lonesome miles across 80 and I can say that I keep that left, until I see traffic coming up behind me. I'm not beating myself or my truck to death when I'm the only one on the big road. If an authoritative figure wanted to be an ass, they could issue a citation.
wyoming doesn’t have lane restrictions on trucks. Also numerous parts of Wyoming have signs telling trucks to use left lane right now in various areas due to the road damage

Great video Alice. Love your choice of music. Camera shots and angles were really great also. Ya got a little bit of snow to keep it interesting. It never fails, having a nice easy ride and out comes the white stuff. After watching your videos the truck in me barks so loud. Once the truck gets in your blood the diesel stays forever. Two things that irritate me to most snow and ice.
Nights can be hard to a just then working days then nights is hard no question. Alice you will get yost to it then driving a whole different story never mind mind morning in the dark but logistics and nights is the only way to get the load there as soon as possible been safe is #1 Your gonna get it there when you can
