Thank You. Im glad you told us what I’ve been thinking and saying all along. People who talk about this always point that finger at us. But as we heard many times, when one finger is pointed at us, several more will be pointed back at them. Just because we’re quiet, doesn’t mean we have to be mistreated a certain way based on how quiet people are perceived. It’s a personal problem that they need to re-assess. Perhaps if they show up better, then problems wouldn’t arise everytime they see us.
There the way things should be, and there’s the way things are. We are living in the real world. Smile and put out some energy to greet people in a friendly manner. Always be cordial and pay attention to others when you walk from one area to another.

I am an introvert, because I am more of a person who likes to have time to myself all the time. I don't bother people much either, because I am a sensitive person, and I didn't want to make people upset if I bug them so much. I am basically that way in both school and home. In school, I do talk to different people, and try to make friends with them, but keeping them was really hard. It was either them, because they didn't want to hang with me anymore, or maybe it's me, because I couldn't be around people longer. Loud noises and loud voices does overwhelm me, and I didn't like to be around people much because of that. That is how my family is when they talk too loud or make loud noises, and it does overwhelm me whenever I be around them. They are also gossipers too, because they love to say random things about different people, sometimes in a negative way as well. I do be bothered when I hear someone in my family would gossip about me in a negative way. I would go to my room, and be upset or have a meltdown. The only person that I felt more comfortable being myself around with is my cousin. I do love talking with her, and spend time with her, and we never judge each other about what we love to do. I am happy to be an introvert, because I like to have a safe space. My room is my only safe space, where I can be myself openly.

This video definitely made me feel a little better about myself but I have a question. What does it mean if you're an introvert but that doesn't necessarily mean that you want to be alone? In the sense that while you're a loner, you secretly desire approval, validation, recognition, and affection but getting those things seem hard without compromising.
Getting that isn’t hard from those that are meant to be a part of your life. Being an introvert has nothing to do with being alone, but that you don’t require as much attention as an extrovert. To expound on that what I mean is that instead of desiring attention from the majority, you’re content with fewer. At the end of the day, no one desires to be totally alone as that’s not even healthy, but that you don’t require validation from EVERYONE, but rather those that matter to you. You don’t have to compromise yourself for those that are meant for you…. They will understand you.
im definitely a quiet person, I keep to myself unless I feel comfortable in my environment. I feel like im constantly judged for being quiet and then when im extroverted too much im judged for that aswell haha. i like to be around positive people who talk with enthusiasm, but for some reason I attracted people who always wants to complain to me. perhaps Its because im too easy going and sensitive people can feel that so they tent to vent to me even when I don't say anything. I feel it comes down to being super empathetic. I need to learn boundaries.
I've heard that I'm intimidating quite a few times. Mostly from the females. They would say that they were intimidated by me when they first met me. (I don't smile a lot so maybe that's why. Lol)
I was told that a few weeks ago around the holidays. I owned it. I don't get paid enough to be fake. I like the person who told me privately but I have better things to do.
@@LemarRashad-Bey they see that you can hold your own and that bothers them. Most women want to dominate other women because they are insecure and when they come across and woman who is confident and doesn’t need their approval they don’t know got to handle it. So you become their enemy.
What kills me is the shy assumption. I work in retail and speaking to people is the easiest thing to do. Why? because I can listen and speak eloquently and give precise directions to 200+ new faces daily. Language barrier no problem. Public speaking on stage or at a potium not a challange. If anyone ever said I'm shy, its like no you just talk to damn much about stuff that doesn't matter. Talking to women is like the easiest thing. Listen first and let them feel its about them. Speak your mind on the subject. Change the subject when that subject is done...easy. Rejection is like don't asks the questions you might be afraid or not certain of. Instead read faces, understand tone, body language and go from there. A outspoken chatterbox wouldnt understand lol. Its often perceived that they care only about themselves and what they want. Definitely a sigma at best, but I gravitate towards people who share the same volume, give almost the same words per minute vocally lol.
I actually like both quiet and loud people who are respectful towards those who are genuinely talkative and open or reclusive. If that offends people, well, I defer to what God says.

@@BigMike_RTTV I see, thank you.
im definitely a quiet person, I keep to myself unless I feel comfortable in my environment. I need to learn boundaries.
jeeez, lot of realness
I’m quiet dat ppl try and use me like im a punk
You can’t help what someone thinks, but you can control what you allow.
So true
Had family do crazy shit
Care to elaborate?
I'm not an extrovert but I might be seen as such but I'm about saying little.
