The belt did not stretch, the cams move a little from the tension of the valve springs, you would had to remove the valve cover and clock the cams to line up the dowels with the gears to pop it on
Right. It was just an experiment. I've done that method on other T- belt engines. I just wanted to see if it would work on this one.
