Tech tip: always loosen fill plug before you drain your pan. Not good if you've drained pan and for some reason can't get fill plug off. Learned that from a pro years ago.
I was going to take it in for this service. I can’t believe how easy it looks (is). Can all this oil be recycled? Thanks Yes, that’s how long it’s been since I did one. I think last time I did this I took it in to the gas station I worked at. Thank you Bill for all you did for me. I owe to you the majority of my mechanical abilities & aptitude. RIP my friend.
Nice job on the maintenance !! The ol barnyard animals were chiming in telling you what you were doing wrong, lol! Black gloves, what a crock !! Secret hiding place eh !! I thought your chin hair was hanging down in the camera, then realized it was the dead cat !!😂 Great job !!
For the front diff fill, next time get a piece of clear tubing 3/8" and push it on the nose of the bottle and stick the other end in the diff. No mess, no fuss.
I have a 2022 Teryx, just did the same service . Pretty easy. I want to ask you if you had experience an issues as it look like sometimes Teryx is locked , not moving , and jerking/shaking. Same effect as it on hand break. Its happening to me almost everytime since i purchased. Sometime its happening if i am i dont have a seat belt on and as soon i clicked it moves. i doubt its coincident, because its happend on few occasions with the belt clicked. someone mentioned it sounds like differential is locked . Could you tell me your thoughts? Thank you
Did your kit give you 2 wet bake bottles? Did you use the new washer or the old one again? Took mine to the dealer for first change so my first DIY will be this spring.
Back dif definitely needs different fluid for wet brake. The good news is you did have the 2 different fluids in your package and you put the wet brake fluid in the back 😅

I have noticed that if the hand break is not all the way down it will do that. Those sensors are very touchy

2 bottles, just used the existing ones
@@t-4adventure654 weird they gave 2 bottles of wet. I've read to make sure to use the new crush washer.
Hmm
@@t-4adventure654 the front doesn't need wet. Not sure if it changes anything just a bit more expensive.
I did both
Do the differential fluids need changed on the 20hr/120mi breakin?
My dealership said yes, I just plan on changing them on every oil change.
Actually the fill plug is a 27mm
Thanks
Fluid different between the front and rear?
No
I used the same for both
I believe they are. The rear is Hydraulic fluid if I'm not mistaken because of the wet brake.

@ditship lucky me
