I recently purchased the 2024 Teryx 4 800. Loving it so far. Purchased the same sound bar you purchased for yours. It’s coming in today. Loving your videos bro. Keep em coming
Thats a nice looking set-up! Thanks for sharing. I'm still looking to buy one. Just still trying to convince myself it's the right choice for me and my 2 kids.
I just picked up my 2023 teryx4 s special edition on saterday and your channel is what made me pull the trigger. Cant wait to start some content about it
As an owner of a ‘21 Teryx4 S, the machine has not disappointed me. That said, do yourself a huge favor and get rid of the cheaply made junk OEM skid plates before you break something very expensive. They bend easily and I quickly got tired of having to take one or more of the sections off to beat the bends out with a shop hammer to straighten them after just about every ride. I put SuperATV skid plates on my rig made of 1/2” ARMW plastic. An expensive upgrade to be sure, but worth every cent and likely to save you some future grief over expensive broken components of the machine, such as rear floorboards which are completely unprotected by the factory skid plates.
Weird showing as a right had drive on the video I have same 2023 color, added full Kawasaki windshield with vents, but think when mine gets older may switch to one you got Think best mod for me was Rugged Radios intercom headsets
@@n6rbv yeah I was using an action cam gimbal which holds it upside down so inverts picture. Not liking that. I have been shopping rugged radios myself.
I just started making custom all welded steel underseat storage boxes for these. They drop right in and work great. I'd love to be able to show you what I got. Maybe make a deal on one if you could do a review on it to help get my name out there.
Nice looking rig! I’m in the market to purchase your same year and model & color! Have you thought about any type of rear window? If not, why you chose to not have one? How about whips to go with the rest of your lighting mods? Thanks!
Great looking machine. Do you know of anyone that has done a video on the utilitarian side of the machine. Hauling cargo, tools, pulling a trailer, ect. ?
I dont really know of any but Ive been wanting to do a video like that. I have used mine to pull my 12’ utility trailer. I have some down trees on property that I need to process for firewood, great job for the Teryx.
I love all the lighting! I’ll check your videos to see if you went through how you wired them? Curious about the green lights. Why green? How well does it show the different levels (depth) in the roads (trails) ahead of you? I subscribed. I can’t wait to go through your videos to learn more about this rig. Thank you in advance!
I noticed you have the passenger seat belt clicked in the drivers side. My neighbor that’s an electrician disconnected that capability. Didn’t take him but 20 minutes if that? Really helps when you’re backing up and needing to turn around or just driving slow. Would you mind telling me what was your incentive to put the lights on the sides? I’m considering doing that. I thought it’d be a good idea for setting up camp situation. Do you ride with those lit or only when parked?
Just checking back from 11 months ago. Have you ever dealt with the heat in the cab? With the flip windshield it’s not that bad but other times it can be annoying. All the videos I’ve watched most everyone is trying to hold the heat in the engine compartment. I’m trying to come up with something to pull the heat out of the engine and the cabin. Thinking about a fan to pull it out. These machines run hot enough. Keeping in the heat inside doesn’t make sense to me. If I finally figure it out I’ll let you know. Nathan
The Teryx seems like a great value. I was considering a UTV - either the Teryx4 or the Wolverine X4. How loud is the Teryx? I'll be carrying a family of four, but I'd hate that we'd have to scream at each other to be heard. I know by design that these machines will make noise regardless of brand, but is it tolerable in the Teryx4? From what I've seen, it's one of the loudest UTVs out there. I have a 3 yr old daughter. Would it be too loud for her?
Yeah all these machine are loud, the Teryx is tolerable at moderate speeds but when you get on the throttle it roars. Ive heard the Wolverine is a good machine but I love how the Teryx looks.
@@t-4adventure654 I guess it's like the Honda Big Reds of old - fairly quiet at mid-rpm, and shake-itself-to-pieces at full throttle! 😅 I was leaning more towards the Teryx4 mostly because of the short wheelbase (like the 2-seater). I'm in New Brunswick, Canada (right next to Maine, USA), and a shorter machine is a definite plus in our tight wood trails. Thanks for the reply!
@@t-4adventure654 thank you. I figured that as that’s how it came stock too. I was wondering without asking did you go with the stock width dimensions or did you go wider. And maybe that’s why you added the 2” spacers?
You're 6 months ahead of me I just bought mine a couple of weeks ago. There are forums for such things. But it's a lot to digest. I'm enjoying your journey. Thanks
Noise? Any chance you are going to put a pipe on this? There should be a nice selection of pipes for this since both the motor & the platform (Model) have Ben around for a few years. Shouldn’t there?
The Teryx is HOT & LOUD to begin with. Very Low to the ground that’s why everyone changes to 30 in. Tires cause you will hit rocks every time out. Let’s talk govener so max speed is 50 mph wth! and front end wheel camber that’s a joke you’ll be fixing that too. Just step up to a 1000 you’ll be happy you did. You will be $$$ ahead and happy. This is not Kawasaki best but cheaper than most. Get what you pay for
You got me for a second there with the right-hand steering set-up, then realized that the video was just mirrored. Great installs.
Ha, yeah i was using an action cam gimbal so its upside down but forgot I could mirror the video to look normal
The video makes it look like it’s right hand drive
New action cam gimbal, holds camera upside down so inverting the video. Im not liking the new gimbal
@@t-4adventure654should be settings on your phone for you invert to correct
Really nice machine and great upgrades! I'm getting ready to buy a 2024 Teryx S SE in Persimmon Red and you gave me some great upgrade ideas. Thanks!
Congratulations that will be pretty color. Subbed right back at ya.
Looking at the teryx4 and wolverine x4 at the moment, if i got the Kawasaki I'd want it just like this. This would be perfect,.love the build.
@@thomast803 cant go wrong with either one but I tell ya, I am loving this machine!!
Everything looks great !! A lot of great improvements !! The tires 🛞 and spacers really set it off nicely!!

Appreciate the video. I’m thinking about getting one. Seems like for they money this is the best value out there.
Its really hard to beat for the price

Hard to see from a distance and not so noticeable as a vehicle

Yes, main thing I love about this machine is that shorter wheel base.
Was looking at adding 29 inch tires to mine. Did you need to add a lift or add the front offset A arms?
I didnt have to add anything but I did add 2” spacers on all 4
What width are the tires you are running? Are these 30 x 10 ?
Yes, 30x14x10
I want to design a clutch kit to increase top speed.
That would be cool
How much do you think you can improve top speed?
Like it is right hand drive. Would be handy in UK.
Ha
These are probably illegal in the UK. Freedom and all….
Where’d you find the fender flares? I don’t see them on the website
SuperATV Heavy-Duty Fender Flares Mud Guards for 2012+ Kawasaki Teryx 4 (See Fitment) | Extreme Durability | Protect Against Rocks, Dirt, Sand, & Mud a.co/d/5lMN2cN
I’m gonna have to check to see if they have them for the two seat versions.
Hmm, they probably do
Hey the tires look like they are a little wider on the back than on the front. Is that the case? Or is that an optical illusion? Thank you.
Yes the back ones are wider due to rim being wider
@@t-4adventure654 thank you. I figured that as that’s how it came stock too. I was wondering without asking did you go with the stock width dimensions or did you go wider. And maybe that’s why you added the 2” spacers?
I just stuck with the stock rims, I added the 2” spacer all around when I upgraded to 30” tires. Widen the stance
How was the power/speed by adding the 30 in tires?
Im still able to achieve 50 mph but seems to take a little longer. Other than that seems about the same. Been really happy with this setup
Have you done anything about noise control
No but the only noise I can think of is from the engine. Not sure anything can be done about that.

Is that a right hand drive teryx4?
No its not, my camera was upside down and forgot to swap angle
