It's even more impressive that this is a legit live performance 👏
if you think this is impressive, you need to check out their 2017 performance at castlefest. they performed their lifa album, & it was their FIRST TIME doing anything live. it’s incredible! also, the main girl singing is maria, the guy chanting with the warriors on stage is kai, the shaman, and christopher, maria’s boyfriend, is on the instrument you see in the very beginning of the video (possibly a targelharpa, not entirely sure)
Castlefest was beyond incredible, regardless of it being their first performance or their one hundredth. It was a performance which even the most seasoned artist could only dream of. They've had many years to refine their live performances since then, and refine they very much have! Quite probably the best live performers on the planet right now.

@@crysis0ne95 We all descended from the primal being, whose name is Ymir/Aurgelmir/Blain. This giant creature was hermaphroditic. It combined everything. It was this that became the material from which the great Ases gave birth to worlds and gave everything their name.
Seen these guys live and as always they were amazing. Hellblade 2 got me into them when I heard that track in the initial reveal all those years ago. The music is cathartic and puts me in a kind of a zen. I've been studying and performing music all my life and these guys are beautifully unique and so raw and tribal at the same time. It just brings something out of you in both gentle emotion and power. I love the juxtaposition in feeling their music gives at once.
I feel like flying accross the mountain of the scandinavian landscape...
There is a serenity within this piece of art.
I'm liking the love Heilung are getting recently, they really are an overlooked treasure. Crazy thing is that as good as this is, I wouldn't consider Seidh to be one of their better pieces. In both live and studio recordings they are quite simply transcendent, I can't think of another way to put it, they're not a band; they're far more than that. For the new listener brought in by Seidh, Anoana (live at the Hammersmith Apollo earlier this year, and is probably superior to the studio version) showcases just what they're capable of, and the rabbit hole just deepens from there!

Is this a new song of theirs or something? i can’t find it anywhere
its a song from the soundtrack of Hellblade 2 (im assuming) they just now revealed and played the song live at the Game Awards so it probably isnt officially out yet
The game will come out in 2024 so the soundtrack will be released next year.
