  • I am on a 3 days trip to southern Sweden with my Sony A1 + Gmaster 600mm & OM-1 + Olympus 150-400mm to film and photograph whatever wildlife i can find. Watch this episode and see what i found and how the 2 camera systems performed.

    hi Dennis
    I think you and your followers are very surprised at the good results that have been achieved with the OM-1 with the 150-400 lens. nice video and pictures.

    Very nice video. The selection of music, motion and still pictures and aerial pictures was so delightful to watch this morning while drinking my coffee! Thanks Dennis for putting this together. Well done.

    Always great to get away and even better if the weather is nice. Can’t wait to get away myself in two weeks for a road trip.

    Tres días disfrutando de buenas luces y buen clima. Los dos sitemas son muy buenos y en tus manos mejores. Un saludo desde Asturias-España, por aquí disfrutando algo del paso prenupcial de las limícolas.

    A man in its van, lovely. Since I share a similar behavior ( Van & shooting wildlife ) I hope to meet you one fine day on the road in Denmark. Next stop for me in any case is Bornholm in May. Go on like this, thanks for sharing !

    Great video footage and stills with both cameras. I use an OM-1 and would love to be able to approach the quality of the photos that you take.

    Hi Dennis, what did you end up using for your video settings on the OM1? i.e. video AF speed, video AF sensitivity, AF mode, 8bit or 10 bit and Video Image Stabilization level?
    Your footage looks excellent!!!

    Hi Dennis! Since i am still studying (and struggling :)) to learn a lot of bird species, it would be really helpful, if you could show the names of the birds you were able to photograph (perhaps in English and/or Latin). Thanks for this amazing footage! Greetings from Germany

      Thanks for your comment and will try to write the names in future episodes

    Hello, if you compare the effort with the Sony and the hand_held recordings with the OM1, there is only one conclusion: The OM1 is clearly much more flexible!

      Agree .. i have so much fun with this light setup and can handhold everything with it! its great :)

    I’ve recieved the new Nikon Z 600/4 TC some weeks back and I’m looking for some protection for it. How are your experience with the skin on your 600mm?
    Great video btw 👍🏼

      @DennisJacobsenWildlife  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Kjell :) i like having it on for protection and camo out in the wild. I stays on and dosent peel of and it has no weight or size like neopren has .. so recommended :)

    the OM-1 footage seems on the dark side, are you shooting at EV-1 to protect highlights?

    • @DennisJacobsenWildlife
      @DennisJacobsenWildlife  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for commenting, i think its maybe me in post who made it a little dark :) i will try to correct in the next video :) thanks for you help
