Pat, Saturday may 25th of Memorial Day weekend. A few of us from Modified Razors for Adults and BombMoto Electric Dirtbikes FB groups are traveling to DC for a group ride. Are you going to join us?
I love watching your videos. I got my own break as well, but the crucial heart is the only part. I’m missing the battery. It’s so expensive one day I’ll see her. I got speed controller and motor for a 72.v The speed controller is not all that I had got my from Amazon. And that thing is humongous. I just love watching videos you’re very inspirational. I just wish the batteries were not so expensive. also, is it possible for a 48 V? or I think it’s 40 V not sure will it be able to power my bike up or is it not ideal?
It's the hardest part to pull the trigger on, but it's the most important since it's what really supplies the power. You can have the best motor and controller and your bike simply will not perform unless you have enough juice to supply for both. I've done other budget builds in the past with 48V, but it's only exciting for a few weeks before you outgrow the performance.
Hello, I am going to be building on for myself but Im confused if a BTR 72v battery with 60ah and a 80a continous discharge. Will this work to get all the power I need? Or should I get a battery with a higher discharge rate? Ive very confused becuase Im trying to run as much compacity as possible. With the discharge rate affect the performace of speed and power?
Skip the BTR packs if you want real power and reliability. You should get a battery that matches what your controller can put out also. Idk what razor frame can fit a 60ah battery. What bike do you have?
