I have a 15t sprocket with stock frame, wheels, and Chain. I have a 3000w motor and 2 36v 20ah lithium batteries wired in series for 72v. I get a good 45-55 mph on it.
Hey man, I love your build. If you'd be kind enough, could you link me to the (kit) and parts you've used. I've been wanting to mod a razor for over a year. Now that I have a decent budget, I can't wait 3 months for the electro and Co kits. Thanks! 🙏
Go check out Hotpaxx, I ordered my motor, controller, and battery kit from them. They are currently out of stock but they usually have on the listing when the next shipment comes in. I sourced many of my other parts from amazon as well!
@@TylersTrailRides oh, Okay:) One more question, so I saw the kit... The kit comes with the Fardriver ND72450, does the kit include (All) the wiring adapters? Thanks again!
did you use T8F chain or 35? also, hows it holding up? i was thinking of using T8F with a Kunray MY1020 3kw motor as it fits my ripoff razor better than the KR5V that you used, and overclock it to 5kw, but im not sure which chain to use
You definitely can use either but I recommend using #35. I found that I stretched T8F chains very quickly and wanted more peace of mind with the stonger chain
How hard would it be to put one of these kits on an old 125cc frame, like a yz or a kx? Id assume you need to find an adapter for the sprocket and or chain... and weld some custom mounts for the motor, controller, and battery. Is there anything else you can think of i might not be thinking about or missing.? The powerseems there for sure 😅
As long as you can fabricate a motor mount and battery tray I would think it would be fairly easy. Electric is simple really, just battery, motor, & controller and you have a powertrain
They have razor quads that's are actually a solid base also ebay seys wider front ends and any thing motor ect work on a razor it's the same set up you take off the 4 wheeler I'm not sure if I have videos of mine on here yet but I made it 48 v 3kw its line green like your bike I sold the pink one cause nephew didn't want it lol but yeah a whole another chase to plug and play
Hey this is dope. But question, how much did you really save going this route? I’m doing research and it looks like it might be like 100-200 that you save vs going through with the electro and co. Is it practically the same price going the electro and co. Way?? I believe you went this route because you wanted the parts quicker right?
I would say i saved a couple hundred, but the really value of doing it this way was learning how to source parts. I'm building an electric street bike now & I know where to go to get parts for that now
I have a 40 dollar speed controller I shunt modded everything does 50 plus that I put it on even if the motor can't handle it its insane for a while but ya when ya build ur own batteries that's where ya get the power
You can build any bike you would like! These are just readily available for cheap here. Electric bikes are pretty simple. Just need a motor, controller, and a battery basically
I left a sub and like brotha this video made me sub I would love more updates on this bike and a range test and Yw brotha it was such a dope video to watch🔥🔥👌
Where did you get the motor adapter that allowed you to move it around? What all did you get in the kit from HotPaxx? I’m waiting on them to restock. Thank you!
Honestly I just kept trying till it worked! I can try to add a part in my next upgrade video explaining how all the wiring goes. If your struggling to figure it out I recommend reaching out on some facebook groups. The guys at "Modified Razors for Adults without Company Censorship" have been super helpful.
Using the stock tune that came on the Hotpaxx kit. You can make your own tune with the fardriver app but eventually I'm going to get a tune from Ryan Goodyear as he is the fardriver tuning wizard
This is my younger brothers bike that you bought from us! The bike is so cool now! Good job! 🎉
I'm so glad you found the video! It's very fun!
I spent so much time finding one of these without electron co parts Thank You!
Of course! I'm almost done with stage 2 of the build! Suspension, big brakes, and extended swing arm coming soon
@@TylersTrailRidescan we please get another update on that would be dope af currently building one of these waiting on some parts hella excited 😂🔥👌

Nice! I'm pretty confident that I could tune more power out of my setup but tbh I feel its plenty fast already
Where can I by the chain kit
@@RyZz___11 The one in the video is the T8TF chain kit from Hotpaxx, but if I was to do it again I would go with a #35 chain kit that is stronger
Nice, what's it cost to get this

jus wondering how much do you weight
Nice I built one too but I was on a budget so it’s a 48v but good enough for me 😂
48v is still plenty of fun!
You should try using the same motor and try to put it on a regular bike. For the brokies
What battery are you using with this build? And how long does it normally last you at moderate riding?
I agree as leader of the free World! I love my Razor..

How much was this I want to build one
does it have to be a razor in sweden we dont have those razor bikes can it be a diffrent brand one?

WHAT IS THAT ADJUSTABLE MOTOR BRACKET!!!! I NEED THAT
Detfab Motor bracket, theres a link to their website in my pt 2 video (for their extended swing arm)
How much did this whole build cost you?
Roughly $1500 at this stage of the build, I have some quality of life mods that will be featured in an upcoming video
Where did you get the motor adapter that allowed you to move it around? What all did you get in the kit from HotPaxx? I’m waiting on them to restock. Thank you!
Motor bracket was from Detfab, and the hotpaxx kit came with all the electronics needed for the bike
What was the brand of the rear shock you went with? Thoughts on it?
@@shaunroberts2358 it was a cheap china one from amazon. Its not very good, recommend the dnm burner instead. On SX500 the stock size is 200mm
Where did you get that tensioner bracket for the motor?
Detfab
Can I have the old parts
how did you find out how to connect all thise wires for the controller please reply

where did you get all the stuff from like battery and the whole kit?
Hotpaxx
how many ah does the battery have and how long does it last
24ah, just went on a 20 mile ride & still had like 40% battery. Most of the ride was chill riding with a couple high speed pulls
👍🏾
You'll enjoy it more with an upgraded suspension and extended swingarm. You have a nice powertrain, but its still clunky as hell.
That's the plan! This is just v1!
Cool video nice build are you liking the Hotpaxx kit so far? I’ve heard of them but don’t know anyone who had purchased from them yet.
I love it! It got to my house 4 days after ordering it
@@TylersTrailRides thanks i do love when stuff ships fast that is a plus 😎👍🏼 thx bro
Is whole kit from there or only battery?
More of this please.

How much did it all cost?? Might get one
About $1250 for battery, controller and motor. I think maybe $100-$150 for the other parts
@@TylersTrailRides Im buying one but it cost upto 1349 its gonna take ages tho bc im 13/14
@@TylersTrailRides And i dont know what bike to buy so im buying some 249.99 bike on smith toys

Yes, they were quick shipping to me. I think he's located in Michigan
How did you get the tune

What battery did you get
72v 24ah that can do 100amp continuous, 150amp peak
Too niosy 😢
It definitely makes noise at full tilt! Its actually very quiet when riding slow
What were the settings you used?
