Well I tried getting clips on the road for you today, but then it broke as soon as I gunned it 😂 I got you on street riding once I fix this (hopefully next week.) I’ll be out in the RAWRR Mantis X and Talaria all weekend though so keep an eye out for a post on Sunday 🤘🏾
would be cool to see your battery management system. like the way you manage all the batteries you have for your bikes and also if you are concerned with battery fires or how you circumvent lithium battery fire issues
Another awesome content Pat. i will soon be doing the same controller upgrade on my Zooz 1200 Flex replacing the current Sabvoton controller. Im gonna start doing the upgrade soon after i get the only missing piece which is a 3 way mode switch. i prefer having an eco and normal mode on this bike. i already got the Fardriver ND72360 and all the parts i need and after i get everything installed, i might seek the help from Vee from Powerful Lithium to get it fine tuned and at the same time learn on how to tune this type of controllers. Great video tutorial👍👍
@@mayshafit3316 hmm max height as in seat height? I’d likely do a larger wheelset (14F / 12R) and DNM 270mm rear shock, call it a day. Wouldn’t wanna go too extreme with changing the geometry so it still handles well
Hey bud, glad you finally got this project powered up. We ordered RSF wheels new from Razor directly. I feel like the rear wheel is bent somewhere in the thread area and we haven't been riding that much. Either way, I would like to find a solution for wheels that doesn't cost $150 each. Let us know what you come up with. This bike doesn't have 100 miles on it yet and the wheels never come off the ground at all. I was told that the RSF wheels are fragile in some ways, but I didn't think they come apart like this. I can only recommend to you that you pull it all apart and get a visual on the problem. My freewheel is welded also. And we run 72v with a KR5V and nd72450.
@@PatOutdoors They say 8kw is the max... I haven't had to need to push it over 55mph thus far. With the gearing I have I should be able to top 63mph, I haven't gotten it up there yet. 250amp 72v amorge battery... I've seen 200a out of the battery on WOT pulls but again, haven't topped it out yet. IT felt like it had wayyy more to go.
The details on ypur builds are nice to see. Im curious how long it took for your amorge battery to arrive? I ordered one but it seems it will be a couple months.
@@PatOutdoorsremove the axle, drill some holes, tap some threads, and put set screws in there. You will have to reach inside the hub to do the set screws. You'll have to sacrifice an Allen wrench and cut it real short so you can reach inside the hub. Or you could just weld it as suggested. I had way more power going to mine when I was only running one motor and it didn't tear up but I had the BMX freewheel inside an adapter version. Those clutch ones die instantly when you apply a few hundred amps. It probably helps not to have a ginormous rear sprocket like that. That thing is crazy big. You'll be like a duck on the water cruising along, but under the water those little feet are kicking like crazy. You were going to run out of gear real fast. You basically created a situation where the controller had plenty of leverage to strip those threads out. Locttute red. Use it.
I think most people in the comments are misunderstanding what happened. There are zero stripped bolts on the sprocket assembly, the inner threads of my welded freewheel are stripped so it now spins freely on the wheel hub itself

Bring it to any muffler shop and have them spot weld the freewheel itself. You don't weld it to the wheel. Takes 2 minutes. I do it on all my bikes. I've yet to have one fail and I run alot of power with a 210lb rider.
I thought about this actually.. but front and rear matching. I may do this for my other SX500, but I wanna fix my RSF wheel on this bike since I really like how it looks
Drill bigger holes to what exactly? There are no broken or stripped bolts. The inside threads of the freewheel where it spins onto the hub itself is what stripped out.
@@PatOutdoors I’ll have to see a few pics but the best way to describe it is, wherever the bolts are that go into the wheel need to be drilled a size bigger and rethreaded. @@PatOutdoors ohh wait I think I know what you’re talking about about. If it’s the freewheel itself, can you not just get a new sprocket to replace the freewheel with?

Hace you ever come across a "10. phase zero error" on the fardriver controller? I just got my 72530 hooked up today and I'm getting that error and I don't have any throttle response. There is no information in the user manual about this error. It just says internal alarm under 10. phase zero error.
@@PatOutdoors yeah I do have the alarm wired up. I've tried removing the alarm module also. And yes I did try hitting the auto learn function but it won't do anything either
I'm brand new to this, but after watching a couple of you videos it makes me want to build one or more. You do a great job with them
I just keep coming back to this mans videos to see what I’m doing wrong to my bikes, really explains everything true man
very informative video, you broke it down for me i thought it was super complicated. thank you. you're a beast with the wiring
Makes me want to start on my SX build now that I’m almost done my MX. 🔥
great job, very well explained
You can weld the freewheel to the wheel since the inside of the wheel is steel.
Had a heart attack reading this
Solid work as always Pat! Sucks to have to wait after all that but im sure it will RIP after the new wheel 😎😎😎
i enjoy watching the bikes out on the road but build videos like this are probably what gets me my youtube moto fix thank you 💯❤️🔥👍🏼😎

Thanks! Yeah I’m also still getting more familiar with all the parameters. So much you can change with a FarDriver!

Took about 5-6 weeks for me. Really depends how common your specs are
weld the free wheel it makes the bike feel way better, I do it on my razors right of the bat no matter what
