Well Karen, I got my first men's blazer at a flee market. It's so cool and funky! Its like a thick brocade fabric with red velvet collar! I figure I'll wear it maybe with jean's, white tee, and a cool necklace. (all KarenBritChick inspired!!! Lol!!!) Love your video's beautiful...Keep em coming!!!

How you incorporate vintage pieces with everyday clothing, i.e. jeans, white t-shirt and a freak'n vintage blazer...so what if it's a men's blazer... looks so good. I remember back in the 80's when I went to a clothing seminar for "it's and giggles" and one thing I was told was to look at a men's tie and incorporate the colors into your wardrobe. To this day, I still follow that rule, but you took it up a notch....wear the tie as a belt, or a head scarf...oh la la girl. I love it when your putting on your pieces and created a look...bam....instant chic and your facial expressions....LOVE IT! I'm a follower of your's most definitely! Happy Birthday....even a bit late!!!! I watch all the time. Even at 58 and unlike when I was younger, a very limited budget....even with all that...I just love watching you and remembering when I was a bit of a close horse!
Dina Cox Almost 58 here, same exact situation. One thing I did when younger was source ginormous hauls of vintage (collecting/ selling over 40 years) in all sizes. Kicking myself over selling some things (so much vintage Pucci!) but still have so much. Because of this, I can go into my closet (I've taken over all closets & many bins, yipes!) and find things that fit seamlessly into my style that I forgot about, haven't worn in ages (don't do the "rule" if it's not worn in a year get rid). That plus all the high-end "investment" pieces I will never get rid of, and I find new outfits to play with, easing my lust over buying some great high-end pieces I've been eyeing. Did you save clothing as well? Maybe you can find new outfits? I find wearing high-end shoes & handbag can elevate any look, and those always fit! 😘💚🎶🎸⚡️Jet
Yes Jet!!! I do...not to the extent that you do, but yes I still have a classic 'vintage' closet full of clothes AND most still fit. Okay, I might be a wee bit larger... Honestly, it really is only about 5 pounds but somehow it is in slightly different places. Ha Ha It makes me feel good knowing that you are out there enjoying Karen as I do!

I would wear my dads tween coat , ripped 501s, and concert t-shirt, cat eye glasses from 1950s, fishnets and doc martens !Who knew it would come back ! It was such an alternative look back then like no one in their right mind or no one pretty or fashiony would do this! Glad to see this again !

Whenever I buy a coat or blazer at H&M or similar shops, I immediately go to a local button shop (yes, we have a shop that just sells buttons in Berlin) and exchange the plastic buttons against more expensive looking ones. It usually costs me about 10-15 €, but it makes the coat look much more high-end. And unlike the original buttons my new hand-sewn ones won't just fall off halfway through winter... 😈 Also: HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎉🎊🎉
