Oh I am so in. I am a 72 year old rocker chic who so loves your channel!!! Most people think I am much younger, but I absolutely hate anyone suggesting dressing for your age which is really dressing for how they think you should dress. I think not.
Hi Catherine. I too am a 70+ chick still wanting to rock it with taste and style. Karen is my favorite "go to" resource to help me do just that. You go girl! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Now I don't feel so bad! I am *almost* 65 and love dressing in a fun way and don't even feel my age! Karen is my trendy Queen! Thanks Karen! Keep having fun, Debbie, Carol and Catherine!!
Hey lovelies! Friday's video is about fall fashion mistakes to avoid!! What is biggest fashion mistake that YOU have learned from ESPECIALLY during Fall? ps. The 50K subscriber giveaway is at the end!! Thank you to EVERYONE who's hit the subscriber button and supported me!!
KarenBritChick Most definitely DO dress in layers: especially if you have small children or are around 45 and up. Biggest mistake I personally keep making, living in a rainy climate, is going for a haircut at the beginning of the fall and wearing my hair loose. Yes I do have that kind of hair...Sigh ☹️.
KarenBritChick Congratulations! You deserve many, many more subscribers as your channel is fantastic. BTW, yes, I'm in and I wanna win those candles! 😘
One fall fashion mistake that I've learned is to NEVER underestimate the power of a good thigh-high sock or faux thigh-high stocking. They add so much texture and interest to the bottom half of your outfit (or complete ensemble) and can be incredibly sexy, sporty, edgy, and sophisticated. If you're the type who likes to wear tights, or socks, with heels--try swapping it out for a thigh-high option.
I have a huge girl crush on you.. I turned for 42 three weeks ago and I am running my first marathon next week. I am in the best shape of my life. I luv fashion and thanks to you I am finding out what my style is and its revolving. thank you for your videos
Hola my beautiful friends, I am so excited and proud of my self that I had too share with guys that I completed my marathon in 4hr 56min. I was able to raise funds to provide clean water for 25 children in Africa thru World Vision. thank you so much for your positive wishes.
@@Losshe me too, i just feel so inspired by her, she is so nice. and is true, im 40 and people tell me about dressing according mi age, and honesly i sometimes feel ashamed but now im free and happy, good to know im not alone
I'm in!!! I am 40 and I always wonder if I am being ridiculous when I buy certain clothes -even when they make me so happy- you almost made me cry when you said dress however you want. Thank you for your guidance and inspiration
You are still young, anyway you cut it! Other than seeing some women who just dress "trashy" (think "What Not To Wear" street walker episodes!) there are tons of options that can totally work at ANY age. I have to admit I cringe at women who are a little TOO "comfortable in their own skins" with bared arms that look like "country hams" and or midriffs, exposed of course, that look like a spare tire! But obviously those types of clueless individuals (don't they ever look in a mirror?!) would never be scoping out the Karen Brit Chick channel, they are in another head space altogether. You look like the type who needn't worry about "looking age appropriate" omg you are a mere babe!! Do your thing and do it for life! As long as you don't embarrass your kids (if any) or super stuffy older relatives, then you should be in a safe space! If that be the case just make sure you're not showing too much skin, even tho you still have the collegen and elastin to do so! It's a temptation to go there, and I'm not talking about putting on a burka, but just know that most women can look sexy and youthful without baring it all. Not that you are but just a word of wisdom from "an older sista". I cringe at some of the things I wore in my 20's, think "hotpants, halter tops and knee high lace up boots (Italian, not plastic "go go!). See my comments earlier agreeing to Catherine Conways remarks. 😉!
By the way, I love your top and bare beautiful shoulders are a lovely feature so don't think my earlier comments, some injected with humor as in the "country ham" comment!) were a reflection on your off the shoulder top! Wish I could still go there!
You my darling had me jumping up and down when you talked about wearing what you want at any age. I'm 59 and I pick up my 4 grandchildren from school everyday. I wear my stilettos and leather jacket with large gold hoops. I remember my friends telling me when I turned 50 that I should cut my long blonde hair and dress more age appropriate. I'm glad I didn't listen to them. Congratulations on 50k subbies. You deserve 5 million!! Yes I'm in it to win.
Oh my gosh….I can so relate! I am 68 yrs. old and have been told the very same thing. Obviously, I didn’t take their advice! I just bought the coolest pair of red crock print ankle boots and can’t wait to rock them!!!
You've liberated my sense of fashion. I was so independent when I was younger, and lost it for a few years. You brought me out of myself again and helped me regain excitement about fashion. Thanks. X
Oh, I would be so happy, if people would wear more bright and cheerful colors during the darkest time of the year. There is nothing more depressing than going through a rainy, cold, gray day and seeing everyone around you wearing gray or black. That's the reason why I had a yellow umbrella :D it's a pity that I lost it. But now I have a crazy yellow raincoat.
I totally get where you're coming from, but since I know most people will stick to their fall/winter-wearing habits, I pop the color into my OWN wardrobe. Well... I'm trying to. I noticed in the past year how often I tend to wear black and white (too much), so I've been making a concerted effort to wear more color, beginning with that rainbow cardigan from Lazy Oaf that I kept seeing on Instagram and a few places here on TH-cam. I've worn it once, and I plan to wear it a bit more often this month. :)
Karenbritchick I love you!! I'm a 58 years young and thankfully am always told how I don't look my age, (I'm Latin) I have been through those videos and websites that tell me I must look 58 through my clothes... Aaaaaahhhh I was miserable until I found you. Thank you for your encouragement and for teaching us about style instead of fashion like everyone else does! You're amazing!!
I have been watching your channel for several months and I wanted to say thank you! I am going to be 59 years old in a month and I have taken some of your suggestions and slowly changed the way I dress. As a result I feel much more confident and stylish! Thanks again! I really look forward to your posts.
What do you when you’re in the middle of a TH-cam video and you get a notification that KarenBritChick uploaded a video?? Switch over of course!!! I luv your videos and enthusiasm!!!
I'm in! also, I love what you said about dressing the way you want regardless of age. If it is flattering, and true to your aesthetic, then rock it with confidence!
i'm in! I love how you managed to talk about fashion don'ts in a nice way and actually encourage people to express their own style. Your channel is so inspirational. Keep up the good work! greetings from Germany xo
My favorite tip you mentioned is wear what you want no matter your age!! As a 48 year old who still loves the rocker chick boho tomboy looks I don’t give a dang what anyone says I “should” wear. 😁❤️❤️Congrats on your new subscribers!!! Yes PLEASE I’d love to win the candles 😊😊
Thanks for your positivity and good sense Karen! I'm approaching forty and have zero intention of "dressing my age". I'm also letting my hair go grey and NOT cutting it short. Age is just another stick to beat women with so i ignore it!
Darling Ms Karen! Yes, I am in and I want to win it! No, thank you! Even if I don't win the candles; I have already won because the minute I found you on YT; I became more stylish, and looked at fashion quite differently; you've truly opened and unleaded a renewed fashion creativity for us all. I am excited about fashion again, because of you!!! WHO KNEW!! I won by finding you, subscribing and heeding your sound advice. Tata for now! xoxo
I'm in and I want to win it. By the way, thanks so much for talking about not paying attention to those people who tell us old people how to dress. I am 73 and feel 43 and dress how I like as long as I don't look old. Heaven forbid. love your videos.
I'm in! Gosh, I'm so glad I've found Your channel, it's so fresh and modern. You keep it simple with a little touch of avantgarde and it inspires me so much to leave my comfort zone. I love fashion and Your advices are so on point! I don't want You to grow as a youtuber so that I could keep these advices to myself but let's be honest, You WILL BE BIG Karen and that will be amazing! xo
I call it, being a fashion chameleon. You have your own style, but that can be expressed in SOO many different versions. That may not be what you meant by the 360 comment, maybe more like look at yourself from all perspectives/angles, nevertheless it does apply to having a full circle 360° fashion fluid perspective.
I'm in!!! 🙏 having recently turned 40 and also discovering my husbands affair with someone 10 years younger than me I have felt old, frumpy and unattractive. I LOVED your comments about not dressing for your age and rocking your own individual style. Thank you Karen Brit Chick, you are ace!
I am in and I want to win! Loved the tip about skirts below mid calf...love that style. Also I am 64 and appreciate the "dress the way you want that makes you feel great" philosophy.
You're the only fashion instagram/youtube I follow religiously. You're so refreshing and down to earth ! Sometimes it gets hard trying to follow influencers who always recommend extravagant and expensive clothes. I appreciate the fact that you find real gems and share them with us ! Merci mille fois Karen !
I'm in!!!!! The one "don't" that looks crazy is leaving the "100% wool" or "Made in Italy" tag on the cuff of outerwear or suits!!! What the hell???!!! Love your channel!! I'm a London-New York girl too!!
I'm in and thank you! I'm 54 and believe you can rock anything as long as you have confidence! Thanks for sharing your confidence in everything you wear! You're AMAZING!!
I'm In. I have been working on myself this year and whenever I feel overwhelmed I just turn on one of your videos. You make me smile and you help me stay focused on my goal. I am over half way. I have been thrifting all of my clothes, since my size has been changing so much. I cant wait till I balance out so I can buy some new pieces and not feel like I as wasting my money. Thank you.
Yes please count me in Karen, those candles sound heavenly. Even if I don't win, I have won already by finding your videos. I have started looking better than ever, started looking after my skin and am excited when looking for clothes now. I have even infected my husband with our new look, he is so on board, we will soon be a fabulous older couple who look stylish and great. Thank you so much Karen, love you!
Hi Karen, I’m in my 50s and wear exactly what I want and what’s flattering. Of course I no longer wear mini skirts but I can definitely rock a knee length, midi and maxi. You’re the first person I’ve found with an aesthetic that is similar to my own, a mixture of HE, LE and vintage. You may be decades younger but you really inspire me to try new things. I’ve purchased several of your recommendations and they’ve been great additions to my wardrobe. I just got the Topshop gold loafers and the Target blazer, which I can’t wait to rock. I live in Florida so we only have two seasons, hot and less hot, lol! But in the fall I make the switch to jewel tones and fall makeup so at least I can mark the change. It does cool off in November but I have no use for heavy coats, although I loved them when I lived in NYC in my 20s. I have an extensive collection of jackets and quite a few new ones I can’t wait to wear. Your videos are so inspiring and give me lots of new ideas for keeping my look fresh and modern. I also love your blog. I discovered you by accident but am so glad I did. I have told so many people about you so I hope they subscribe like I did. You’re doing a fantastic job and I’m ecstatic that you now have two videos every week. They give me something wonderful to look forward to. Keep on being you! Your number uno fan,DLJ
Karen..I'm 53 and having the BEST time dressing and trying so many clothing options..You're an INSPIRATION to me..And I'm just enjoying some many types of clothing options, designs and materials..Printed boots and coats..:) I look forward to putting on something and going to work and getting compliments..I work for a design school and besides you being my Biggest Muse..:) so has working in this environment..Thank you so so much again..Stay Fabulous and Humble..All the Best!
I haven’t dressed myself like I love myself. I had been dressing like a hobo! So I enjoy watching you. I agree about the elastic waist. But if you are skinny u can get away with it. I certainly can’t so I stay away from elastic. Heavy on heavy is spot on! I need to start going through my wardrobe and pic clothes I want to put together. I am a single mom so I have no time to focus on putting nice clothes. I love u make 100% effort in how you dress.! I use to be that way. I had to watch this twice! Never boring but informative. 👍🏾
If you curate you clothing choices to a selected few that mix and match brilliantly, you can always look fantastic, busy or not. Also, picking one or a couple of extra "touches", no matter how small, that are uniquely you, will always make you stand out. Not a lot of effort needed. Concentrate on fabulous cuts and fabrics that look expensive, take care of the clothing. like stains , rips, pilling.....and yes, ironing and you will always look fantastic. I would suggest three items that are important to spend some moolah on and that is two or three versatile footwear choices, two or three outwear pieces and two or three stand out sturdy handbags. Look for end of season sales but pick all season items and start with one in each category but keep adding. Choose classic but fashionable pieces that will last a few years. Sounds a bit of a challenge but with a bit of concentration when you get a chance you will feel more like yourself and always look great...and when you feel you look great you will definitely feel great.
Thank you! I know how difficult it is sometimes but I also know how good I feel when things fall into place. It is advice I follow, or try to. The satisfaction I feel when I do is my motivator! Really makes a difference. Once again Thank you 2artnouveau, you made my day!
Oh dear, yes I'm in!I absolutely agree on every point you've made in this video. I'm always guilty of the "always wear layers" one and oftentimes I find myself sweating because it's too hot outside for a jumper!
Hi Karen, yes I'm in, definitely. The best thing I have learned from you as I am 5'8" is that men's jackets and blazers etc will be an option for me. I feel really slow that I needed that tip pointing out to me, thank you for all your videos.
I am definitely interested, although I am in Australia...but that's okay...regardless of whether I have a chance, I just want to say I really find your you tube channel very entertaining and educational...I even find myself going in clothing shops a lot more as I would always find clothes shopping very overwhelming and wouldn't bother unless I desperately needed something , so thanks Karen for sharing your wisdom through your channel. I look forward to seeing them!
Just want to say I'm 60 years young viewer and I think your brilliant! Love the bit about not having to dress for a certain age, but dress in what you feel good in and shows your personality..It's so true! XO
Before I had my children 18 years ago, I never had to figure out what is in style and how I should be wearing things. So I said to myself, "I need to watch a video on how to dress and what to do and not to do." So I came across your video first. With that being said, I watched more of your videos and I love everything you put together, everything you say about the pieces. So I went out today and bought a whole new fall wardrobe. I just have a few more accessories I need to add but ran out of time. Thank you so much for your knowledge on style. You have a great personality and I truly enjoy watching your videos. I will continue!!
Btw your videos are like my favourite tv shows. It's like every Tuesdays n Fridays, I'm like yep " get me a cuppa" ready n watch yer videos. It's crazy. ❤️
Hi there, I was pondering over n order online & happened to start to go a bit nutty LOL ;) so somehow found you playing, I have to say I have been watching, listening & enjoying everything you talk about, it made me so educated that I went back to my shopping list & basically cut it in half. Thank You !! You are so right about everything you say, I'm turning 57 November & I grew up with the rules of back in the days when we stopped wearing white after Labor Day, & wore shoes to match our purses !! You are absolutely right on about everything, & what a stunning woman you are. I have had 4 major replacements in the last 3 years, so comfort has been more my style than any style. I'm now down 65 lbs, & am still not done yet, have always been a plus size gal, what a struggle back in the 60's if you could imagine, so I began sewing my own clothes to look as stylish as possible. Wish I had the clothing options of today, but you learn when you sew there are really only 3-4 basic dress designs, then you do your own thing to make them your own. Anyway just wanted to say Thanks for being here, I am going to revamp my wardrobe, as I have always been a Classic dresser with a twist, but I'm craving some fun in it now. Just love the skirt to the calf length no no, I just deleted a pr of tall boots on my order, you got me thinking long & lean, I went for the low bootie LOL !!! Must be the "change" of life thing, & now that I'm starting to be able to walk again, I need to get out of my Comfy duds & Set myself free, well a bit LOL !! I was due to arise early in the morning, but this was a wonderful way to re-educate myself, your so sweet & beautiful, you must be a model, I'm certain :) I'm going to be following you for sure, but I think I'm always going to be jeans & tee shirt gal, but I'll always keep my blazers with the arms pushed up, my signature with any sleeve & handbags are my guilty pleasure !! Many wishes for your future subscribers #, I can only see it going up my dear.
Hello Miss BritChick: Yes, I am in. You are fun to watch...love how you vary your look. If I have one persistent frustration, it is with my hair, which is short. I have zero talent for using the tools and "product" to style it, but the bigger issue is that with short hair, there is less flexibility. I've tried to let it grow a bit, but that in-between stage lasts FOREVER and looks ghastly. On the positive side, I am petite and in good shape, so clothes are (at this point, now that I have time to think about them a little!) fun! My most favorite thing when I have a "free" day is to go out trying on clothes, particularly styles that I don't normally gravitate to. I wholeheartedly agree with your comment that the single most important element to looking WONDERFUL is to have CONFIDENCE! Good posture, a big smile, and outfits that flatter one's body, are also biggies. Thanks Karen!
I'm in! I've discovered you recently and I love your personality. I'm from Poland so when you upload your video it's night time here. I have a 4-month son and I usually nurse him twice during the night. I'm always so happy when I discover that there is new video because your energy and good humor help to keep me up at these moments :)
I’m in and I want to win! Love the tips especially the one about dressing your age. People always tell me I don’t dress my age (49), I just wear what I like😀
Karen you are saying thank you to us but let me say the biggest thank you back! I love your style and you have inspired me lots! Also the best personality, you ALWAYS manage to put a smile on my face :) Oh and I am in for the give away, exciting!
I like drawstring and elastic bands, and I don't really mind dresses that end mid calf either. But I get what you mean. Im just not that worried about maybe looking slightly bigger here or there. I like my legs to look long, so I avoid lower rises, but that's about it.
I’m a 67 year young fashion fool, that has loved clothes all my life. But what I learned early was styling is actually more important than fashion itself, because you must know yourself to understand how a particular trend works for you. I’m not going to compete with a 27 year old on styling a trend, I have to take that trend and work it for me. I love being inspired by the “young ones” and tweaking that fashion trend to work for me as a mature artist & lover of fashion. Karen I’ve been rocking with you since 2019 & you have helped me up my fashion game, damn I love you girl❣️
Yes, I am in please!! I must say that I love your #13 mistake and that is we feel we should dress our "age"....I've been struggling with that because I tend to dress "younger" than my actual age because I'm drawn to it. Some older women tell me: "You dress so young" and I keep thinking I need to change, but thank you for actually confirming that I can dress with what I pleases me:)
I just found you here on TH-cam while searching for that “What to wear for 50plus,” blah blah blah....watching you and your refreshing view and just listening to your delivery...I love you! I am 51 and I am myself, so sick of the pigeon holing of the age group (don’t get me wrong, I’m not into wearing items that are for my 26 year old daughter, well...maybe some of her stuff...oh whatever) Hearing you make the loud and clear statement to, “Wear what you like!” Just made me cheer! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I will be a loyal follower of yours for life. Thank you for your straight forward approach and your fun and delightful delivery of your information. You’re wonderful and I appreciate your insight and help. Forever a friend and follower! From a Texas with Love!
I'm in! I am a 41 year old teacher from Alabama, USA part of the Southern States. I tell my students all the time be who you, do what you want, and I love how you say that about dressing. Age is just a number.
lol so with you on snipping the loose cross stitch that's on new blazers/coats (same for pockets that are stitched though at least those aren't visible). unrelated to fall, but certainly in a similar vein is when people buy shoes and leave the price tag on the sole. every time i walk behind someone who has done that, i just want to tell them to take off that big white sticker! we can all see it even if you can't!
Yes, I'm in and I want to win it.... and even if I don't, I'll always tune in to giggle at your jokes and be reassured that I'm not the only one who has bag-gasms lol. BTW 48 y.o. here and flying the flag for dressing with panache at any age... the older and bolder I get, the more compliments I get. Much love from Rome, chica 😘😘
Congratulations, Karen! I only discovered you last week and spent the week-end binging on Karen Brit Chick . I thank you for coming into my life. It can become very stressful & isolating sometimes when you take care of your 91-year old Dad. Thank you for inspiring me to reconnect with myself again and to get out of my sweats. Yesterday, I went to Zara and bought the most beautiful red Jacket and then ordered a pair of checkered black & white pants from H & M - I know you know which ones I'm talking about. Your heart always shines through your videos & I just knew you were a Virgo Sister (mine is on Sept. 14). I am happy to be part of your 50K community & I'm in for the win - either way, I am definitely in now that I found your channel.
Yes, I'm and I want to win it!!! Your youtube channel has been my best discovery of 2017, because your way of understanding fashion is passionate, continue so please do not change and do not abandon us, kisses from Spain.
Yes! I'm in for the win and can we please start the hashtag #YOUDRESSHOWYOUWANT or #KARENMADEMEBUYIT fam? Cause I got that Target blazer and I'm eying those silver books on Zara as I type! Congrats on the 50K, can't wait till 100K!!
That cross stitch drives me mad. Especially on men, also cut the lable tag off blazer sleeves or suit jackets. REMOVE IT!!!! I absolutely love candles. I would LOVE TO WIN!!!!
Congratulations and thank you for putting your heart into what you do. All your videos are very inspiring and we learn from you that fashion is: adding joy into our lives!
I'm in! Also, amen to wear what you want! Thank you! I'm turning 40 this year and I hate the idea that I'm supposed to arbitrarily stop wearing things I like. What nonsense. Thank you so much.
O EM GEE, Tip #8...Even when telling someone to remove a cross-stitch, they vehemently disagree explaining their garment was made or styled that way...Next time you see them in that garment, the cross-stitch has popped and there's a thread hanging...Shake'n my head!!! Yes, I'm in and I want to win it! CONGRATULATIONS on 50K!!! Tfs, LuvU&Later...
I would subscribe twice if I could. I am 65 and wear what I want and am comfortable wearing, even the occasional minni skirt, with black tights because I am comfortable wearing that. P.S. Everyone is shocked when I tell them I am 65!
Yes I'm in! I am not that long subscribed, but slowly learning about style. And also telling my daughters about it, so they can learn too! We all like yourmtips, so a big thank you back to you! x from The Netherlands
Oh god u just made me feel good , I'm 60 years old and still love fashion , and sometimes feel I shouldn't be shopping in shops like top shop , you have just made feel it's ok.. love your videos.. u always look stunning by the way .. xx
Thanks Karen you make my day been into fashion for years love listening and looking with someone who shares that same passion and excitement about fashion it's so refreshing..
Wife replying since my husband passed away this year I'm 68 I have been watching you and you always bring a smile to my face I find you adorable. Some of your finds are out of this world. I like going to charity shops and I have found some great clothes I dress the way I want to if something catches my eyes I buy it
Thank you so much for the "too old" commentary! Once I stopped listening to fashion advice for age but also body type and height is when I found my true style. I have gotten more modest as I've gotten older but it's not because anyone told me too, it's my own need to feel more comfortable. I'm 49, 5'1" with curves and would be miserable in heavily tailored petite line clothing.
Hey Karen! I had a 21 yr. old tell me why do I dress young. Well I'm 53 and could pass for my early 30s or late 20s. I told her I dress how I want. I dress modest but stylish. I will rock different color patterns, African Ankara and vlisco. Colors selections vary. I was raised to dress presentable but love to be different. I have a distressed purple leather biker jacket which I get many compliments on. I wear stylish abayas, kaftans, head wraps, etc. I love your channel. Keep up the great work
Karen I absolutely adore your enthusiasm and sense of humor. Your personality is so genuine. Your fashion style is a juxtaposition of classic elegance with a twist of eccentric haute couture. I truly enjoy your content, it's well thought out and clearly explained. Thank you for pointing out, one style doesn't suit everyone and inspiring us to wear what feels right. At 59, I agree, "Fashion has no expiration date". Congratulations on 50K Subscribers! You Rock! Yes, I'm in for the win!
Hi I am completely in Karen! My biggest mistake was to wear dark colours. Now I choose bright and funny pieces, thanks Karen for inspiring me so wonderfully.
Congratulations! I am sure you'll soon reach a million! I remember when TH-cam first suggested me to watch one of your videos thinking "oh no not another all-the-same-advice fashion channel" and then I watched your video, followed you straight away and wondered "why the heck hasn't she got MORE subscribers?!" Sooo happy to see you are getting the huge numbers you deserve! Your enthusiasm is contagious and your perspective so refreshing and so valuable! Yes I am in for your celebratory giveaway but honestly I am glued to your channel no matter what you give or don't give away, thank you or your a-ma-zing content and for the lovely company on sleepless nights! Cheers from Italy!
Style and age ?..Totally brilliant ...loving the comment about age being irrelevant to how you dress ......as I am 53 and will always love my black leather jacket, jeans and stuart Weizmann thigh high leather boots. X
Thank you for number #13! I love various alternative clothing styles, especially Japanese fashion. And I hate it when people ask, "Why don't you dress your age?" I'm in my 50's and I love bright, bold colors, pairing opposites, i.e. leather/lace, men's clothes, etc. I also hate those magazines that say this is how you should dress in your 20s 30s 40s and 50s.
Thank you, Karen, for your brilliance and sense of humour! Good tip for leather jacket sizing...wish I knew it before gifting mine away : ) And yes, I´would love the candles...
Thank you so much!!! I bought the over the knee boots and I love them so much! I love the permission to wear whatever I want no matter what my age. I love fashion again because of you! I'm in!!!!
Hi Karen, I have just joined your thousands of fans. I love that you display such wonderful creative and varied style whilst keeping it affordable. Most bloggers show outfits which are well beyond my means. Congratulations too for your accuracy on listing links. I just know you're going to be a life changer for me. Thank you thank you thank you.
Yes I am in. Thanks for adding the mistake on dressing your age. I'm 60 and am finally realizing that dressing for body type and confidence is the key!
Oh I am so in. I am a 72 year old rocker chic who so loves your channel!!! Most people think I am much younger, but I absolutely hate anyone suggesting dressing for your age which is really dressing for how they think you should dress. I think not.
Catherine Conway I agree.....I'm nearly 61 and I adore fashion. I dress how I like and bugger everyone else !!!
Hi Catherine. I too am a 70+ chick still wanting to rock it with taste and style. Karen is my favorite "go to" resource to help me do just that. You go girl! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I'm in. 70 and up is fun.
Now I don't feel so bad! I am *almost* 65 and love dressing in a fun way and don't even feel my age! Karen is my trendy Queen! Thanks Karen! Keep having fun, Debbie, Carol and Catherine!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hey lovelies! Friday's video is about fall fashion mistakes to avoid!! What is biggest fashion mistake that YOU have learned from ESPECIALLY during Fall? ps. The 50K subscriber giveaway is at the end!! Thank you to EVERYONE who's hit the subscriber button and supported me!!
50k.. YAY !! Congrats Karen !!! I wish to you next 50k and more and more and 1000000 subs !
KarenBritChick
Most definitely DO dress in layers: especially if you have small children or are around 45 and up.
Biggest mistake I personally keep making, living in a rainy climate, is going for a haircut at the beginning of the fall and wearing my hair loose. Yes I do have that kind of hair...Sigh ☹️.
KarenBritChick omg I don't remember seeing the giveaway! What were the rules?
Good Luck!
Hola my beautiful friends, I am so excited and proud of my self that I had too share with guys that I completed my marathon in 4hr 56min. I was able to raise funds to provide clean water for 25 children in Africa thru World Vision. thank you so much for your positive wishes.
YAYYYYYYYYYY!!! Congratulations!!
Who's Here in 2019? Love all you advice, especially. Dressing for you age!
Me! I've been following her but have never seen this video
@@Losshe me too, i just feel so inspired by her, she is so nice. and is true, im 40 and people tell me about dressing according mi age, and honesly i sometimes feel ashamed but now im free and happy, good to know im not alone
I've recently found her channel and I'm binge watching
@@1justWannaKnow I'm binge watching too! Love her!
Im new too! This video is giving me life after being a fashion zombie for what feels like one thousand years.

That's awesome! I hope to do the same some day. :)
Yas! You sound so stylish! Work it!
moomookitty 1923 thumbs up for U, my friend.
But now I have a crazy yellow raincoat.
brilliant : )
I totally get where you're coming from, but since I know most people will stick to their fall/winter-wearing habits, I pop the color into my OWN wardrobe. Well... I'm trying to. I noticed in the past year how often I tend to wear black and white (too much), so I've been making a concerted effort to wear more color, beginning with that rainbow cardigan from Lazy Oaf that I kept seeing on Instagram and a few places here on TH-cam. I've worn it once, and I plan to wear it a bit more often this month. :)
Agate Auzāne I agree with you, that's why my winter jacket is Orange.
What do you do when you're at work and see a notification for KarenBritChick? Turn on the video as soon as you get home. Love Love her videos
I'm in!
also, I love what you said about dressing the way you want regardless of age. If it is flattering, and true to your aesthetic, then rock it with confidence!
Thank you for your comment about dressing without regard for age. I am over fifty and love fashion. Your videos are fun and useful!
Wow. KBC has done exactly what she intended, she has inspired millions including ME. THANKS KBC
Yes I am so in......errrrrmmm, yep still in 😀 I turned 40 yesterday and spent it on my own ..... well not entirely, watched your videos, so thank you.
If I have a beloved skirt or palazzo pants with elastic waistbands, I put a wide belt over them. Totally changes the look!
I'm in! Gosh, I'm so glad I've found Your channel, it's so fresh and modern. You keep it simple with a little touch of avantgarde and it inspires me so much to leave my comfort zone. I love fashion and Your advices are so on point! I don't want You to grow as a youtuber so that I could keep these advices to myself but let's be honest, You WILL BE BIG Karen and that will be amazing! xo
Love, LOVE, LOVE the red blouse!!!
Of course I'm in! I don't have a "shopping friend" at the moment, so it's fun to get fashion ideas from you.
You're a 360 person - love it!
LOVE your name...Will Work For Fashion!! So cute and clever!
4fashion...typo!
Yes I’m in! Karen, I absolutely love your enthusiasm. I’m so excited to see you continue to grow. You’re going to be HUGE! ❤️❤️❤️
Ahhhhhhh, It's ToyaBoo! :)
She already is ***
I'm in!!! 🙏 having recently turned 40 and also discovering my husbands affair with someone 10 years younger than me I have felt old, frumpy and unattractive. I LOVED your comments about not dressing for your age and rocking your
own individual style. Thank you Karen Brit Chick, you are ace!
Penny White I hope you are doing well!
Penny White you are in my prayers. 🙏🏾
You're lucky you this happened at this age ! You can make a fresh start and do much better with the experience you have !!!!!
Renatouki !!!!!!!! Thank you so much. I needed to hear that. X
Lauren lovesAri. Thankyou xx
I am in and I want to win! Loved the tip about skirts below mid calf...love that style. Also I am 64 and appreciate the "dress the way you want that makes you feel great" philosophy.
Yes I'm very IN! love you.
"Bollocks to that crap! You dress how you want!" I love you Karen! Also the out-takes were so funny! LOL
I'm in!!!!! The one "don't" that looks crazy is leaving the "100% wool" or "Made in Italy" tag on the cuff of outerwear or suits!!! What the hell???!!! Love your channel!! I'm a London-New York girl too!!
Jooles J thank you, came here to say this.
I'm glad to say I'm finding my style again because of you Karen! Thank you again! Count me in for the drawing as well!
I love wearing a bold shoe with my all black looks!!
And I need those candles!! ❤
Thank you.
You look beautiful today. The red blouse is amazing on you. Great tips as always.
I’m in! My new mantra-Style has no expiration date! Yay!
Hi Karen,
I’m in my 50s and wear exactly what I want and what’s flattering.

I just press the like button even before the video start because I know that i am going to enjoy it.
Λεωνιδας NIKOPOULOS lol right!
Λεωνιδας NIKOPOULOS me too! Haha
Ditto!
Λεωνιδας NIKOPOULOS me too!!
Λεωνιδας NIKOPOULOS e lol I always do that
I haven’t dressed myself like I love myself.
Mary KA Thank you so much for taking the time in helping me out! I appreciate it very much. ❤️
Thank you! I know how difficult it is sometimes but I also know how good I feel when things fall into place. It is advice I follow, or try to. The satisfaction I feel when I do is my motivator! Really makes a difference. Once again Thank you 2artnouveau, you made my day!
I'm in!!I'm in!! Btw thank you for sharing your great tips and awesome style.
Yes, I'm in and I want to win the candles! Thank you for your videos. They are always informative and entertaining!
I'm in! Always looking forward to your tips and your bloopers! :)
I'm in! And a big HELL YEAH to rocking your own style no matter what your age!!! Looking forward to your next video already LOL! :D
Im in! Your passion for fashion is so inspiring!
Karen I'm all in and would loved to win the candle. Although I actually live in the U.K. I'm obsessed with all your videos. Big love from London x
Btw your videos are like my favourite tv shows. It's like every Tuesdays n Fridays, I'm like yep " get me a cuppa" ready n watch yer videos. It's crazy. ❤️
Hi there, I was pondering over n order online & happened to start to go a bit nutty LOL ;) so somehow found you playing,
I have to say I have been watching, listening & enjoying everything you talk about, it made me so educated that I went back to my shopping list & basically cut it in half.
I was due to arise early in the morning, but this was a wonderful way to re-educate myself, your so sweet & beautiful, you must be a model, I'm certain :)
I'm going to be following you for sure, but I think I'm always going to be jeans & tee shirt gal, but I'll always keep my blazers with the arms pushed up, my signature with any sleeve & handbags are my guilty pleasure !!
I'm in. I want to win it.
Set it free😂😂😂😂
I would love to win this because it's from you. I would never light them though, so I'll have them forever☺️. Thank you for yet another great video❤️
Always love your videos! So wise and funny :-)
YES I'M IN , I WOULD LOVE TO WIN IT😍😎
" m l
love your videos! This is my first time watching you, I think you are great!!
th-cam.com/video/E7-RgL8X3zE/w-d-xo.html
lol so with you on snipping the loose cross stitch that's on new blazers/coats (same for pockets that are stitched though at least those aren't visible). unrelated to fall, but certainly in a similar vein is when people buy shoes and leave the price tag on the sole. every time i walk behind someone who has done that, i just want to tell them to take off that big white sticker! we can all see it even if you can't!
Lara Phoenix girl you are definitely not alone...i have bag-gasms and shoe-gasms...lol...the first step is admitting it..lol
Lara Phoenix oh yes that is so true! The older, the bolder, the merrier! Cheers from Roma!
The best is Age doesn’t matter at all in dressing the way one wants to !!!!!!Brilliant advice 😘Thank you 😊
Congratulations, Karen!
Veroplane that's such a swell 👍🏻 idea 💡!!! How about a more general #StyledByKarenBritChick
That cross stitch drives me mad. Especially on men, also cut the lable tag off blazer sleeves or suit jackets. REMOVE IT!!!! I absolutely love candles. I would LOVE TO WIN!!!!
You're absolutely right. I see that all the time.
Yes, I'm in it to win it! Congrats on your expanding subscribers. I have a good feeling that your channels success will continue.
I've removed the cross stitch from groomsmen's suits at weddings! 😂
I would subscribe twice if I could. I am 65 and wear what I want and am comfortable wearing, even the occasional minni skirt, with black tights because I am comfortable wearing that. P.S. Everyone is shocked when I tell them I am 65!
59, and me too!!
52 and staying true to myself.
Almost 50, and have no intention of conforming
74 (almost 75) and don't expect to change what I want to wear. Get constant compliments on my "fashion sense"
You go girl 🤗
I like going to charity shops and I have found some great clothes I dress the way I want to if something catches my eyes I buy it
Your tips are fantastic! I am guilty of wearing dark colors in the winter, but not any longer. You are so alive and enthusiastic.
I’m so glad I found you! I have a recent interest in fashion for the first time,as I’m turning 40! Thanks for the great info.
I am in! I love candles and have been wanting to try this brand. Love to see a video on on scents.
I love how you insist women express themselves BEAUTIFULLY! KEEP IT UP ! LOVE YOU!
Sista, you make my life! So glad to hear you say, age doesn't matter. I'm 57 and I wear what the hell I want! Thanks for your endorsement:-)
13:00 Thanks Karen! I'm 59, big boobed 5ft 7ins, size UK8/41 shoe and I LOVE a man's vintage suit!
For us in the USA, "jumper" means sweater...Love Karen she is amazing!
Thank you, Karen, for your brilliance and sense of humour! Good tip for leather jacket sizing...wish I knew it before gifting mine away : ) And yes, I´would love the candles...
Your red blouse is beautiful and flattering.
