Awesome work presenting all these precast videos to educate us about different ways of building structures. Would like to see more finish buildings homes. Also interested to know how taller buildings 4 or more stores/floors levels hold up after using precast panels
I enjoy your videos. You do an amazing job. The waterproofing of that parapet wall was not good. There is an L flashing just nailed on with no caulking. The flashing isn’t wide enough either. No counter flashing either. No Wall coping along the parapet. They just slapped a thin layer of concrete which will chip over time and leak like hell. Just totally half ass. I get that this is not something that our roofers are used to, for that, I highly recommend future builders staying away from this type of roof set up lest they cry premium tears! I am a roof inspector and seen it all.

Amazing awesome work. I intend to build with precast concrete. My roof has to be a water catchment and I am not sure about solar panels not contamination of the water we collect. Are solar panels safe on the roof.
Just a quick question. Where do you get the c channels from. Are they sourced from Stella companies? Or from the precast company and how much do they go for. Thanks for the good work.
A huge cost difference because a panels slab will still require a concrete screed floor to be poured. A slab is more expensive as it allows you to have a rooftop balcony or add an extra floor later on

Yes the panels are cut, then steel C-channels are placed and the window frames welded onto them

Ensure you buy solar panels that have an inert glass surface that doesn't react with the weather elements

The precast company gives you a quote of the c channels as they have a working partnership with the steel manufacturer
