+Santosh Raikar The Thunderbird 500 makes better sense owing to larger tank, comfortable riding posture and better suspension, although the Dominar 400 has higher cruising speed and features.
Navaneeth Kr Hey! What you are referring to is the top speed on the speedometer. This is the actual top speed achieved on our vbox during the performance test. There's always some error in the speedometer, besides which top speed on a slope will definitely be higher. Our test was done on a flat road without a slope/incline.
best review of dominar by an any channel. good camera use. scenes are perfect. voice is best and with subtitle it's just like a cherry on cake. keep it up zig wheels. we are always to support you.
I am completely hooked up between dominar 400 and pulsar 220f. While urge to have more power is pushing me towards dominar at the same time the simplicity of 220f attracts me to herself. Dominar is really a capable machine but what set me back is its technologically loadedness. I love both the bikes but EFI of dominar is deal breaker for me, agreed that its way better than good old carburetor of 220f but its way more complicated and expensive as well. The non-abrestness of local mechanics with the EFI is major worry. I would take the 220f to any local mechanic for its service but I am skeptical about it when it comes to dominar. Further I have enough for me at commuter space as my Yamaha Saluto serves me well there, and what I am looking now for is tourer where both the bike mentioned here fits well. Listening to the horrendous stories of EFI breakdown of thunderbird owners force me to keep my hands away from dominar. Imagining the EFI breakdown on deserted-loneny highway or abandoned countryside with my wife gives me feeling of nightmare (though I have not personally experienced it). My uses would mostly be sticked to fortnight long drives and once in a month or two to go for touring. As I will be using it for 300-500 kms/day touring I think I wont be going wrong with any of them. Pillion comfort is also very much of concern for me as almost all the time I would be travelling with my wife. What should I do? should I wait for sometime so that bajaj may go back to carburater on dominar as they did with pulsar 220F back then. Or should I go for Pulsar 220F itself.
This beast is gonna take the bajaj to the next level 👌👌👌 And superb and great video keep doing such good videos #Zigwheels And can u do comparo video between avenger 220 street and um renegede sport s?
@Sai Sri Harsha Thank you for your appreciation. It means a lot. Coming to the comparison part, we are forwarding it to our team. Lets see, what best we can do it for you. .
it's an SOHC engine as well like the pulsar 200s using duke 200s engine and not a dual cam set up. Many of the reviews are kind of missing this information.
Hi Anupam, we're not expecting Bajaj to use the Dominar brand name for smaller products, since they already have the Pulsar brand in the 200-220cc space. Two differently named motorcycles in the same space, for nearly the same purpose would make it confusing for buyers.
i wish to buy dominar whether the sound of engine was like pulsar 200 or how it is differs whether the engine is soft or not whether the pickup of this bike is like ktm duke whether i can buy dominor or duke which is the better one???????
Excellent review.. Just echoed my opinion literally.. My biggest grouse should be the stiff low speed ride quality and hollow bottom end poke n engine knocking..
I don't like slightly tilted rising position of Bajaj. People likes RE for a reason other than just looking retro. that slight tilt damages spine disk permanently.
Dear all friends don't just book it randomly, wait for the bike to get on the road, let people use it and give the review on youtube.. I am really waiting for it.. I feel all this video till now are paid... as we can't predict on riding the bike one time two time..
Hi Naveen, can you please tell me why do you feel that my review is a paid one? Any specific reason or statement of mine in the video that makes you think so? Do let know, I'm keen on hearing.
Abhay Verma no hard feeling for u or on this bike .. i am just not getting this review that everyone is talking positive things about d bike .. and most important is how can anyone give review of bike on just riding it for one time ,,daily if some one ride it then can get right answer,.. when i will come india then i will surely have a test ride and before that i want to hear the true review .. lets see
Naveen, we review cars and motorcycles at the time of their launch, to give prospective buyers and our readers a perspective about the vehicle. And it's not about riding or driving a bike or car one time - we usually get enough seat time to assess them on various parameters. If not, we do mention that certain aspects could not be tested in a particular review. In this case I have clearly mentioned that we are yet to test this motorcycle for efficiency and we will be doing that in response to a query below. And most reviewers who were with me have not spoken just about the positives on this bike. Most of us opined that the suspension is stiff and the engine has vibration. Apart from that, you have to admit that the quality of the motorcycle is rather good. Wherever required and deemed necessary we do get critical of products. So it is wrong to say everyone is merely being positive. As for performance and wear and tear over periods of time, we get products from manufacturers for what is known as a long term test, and wherein we get to spend months living with a particular car or motorcycle and talk about the ownership experience over the said period of time. In this case the Dominar is a freshly launched product, and in the due course of time we will be able to assess it in the longer run. I am unable to comprehend what are you implying to exactly by saying you want to hear the true review. If you think there's certain aspects about the motorcycle that are missing in mine or other reviews, do let know. It's always good to have feedback so we can improve ourselves!
Hi Aditya Patil it's difficult to comment on that without riding both motorcycles back to back, and we're hoping to bring you a comparison test soon to answer that question.
Both of them are very different, CBR 250 isn't that comfortable to drive for long distances, this is not the case with Dominar, it is easily maneuverable too. Our pick would be the new Dominar.
ZigWheels what about the quality of dominor ? actually it's a bajaj product. that's why I m worried. how's the quality of digital metre ? Is there any starting issues like other pulsars like 220 ?
Dominar has just been unveiled, no issues have been reported as of now. Talking about the quality, it is well built, the quality has sincerely been improved by Bajaj. The digital meter has a black background and shows the information in white which is pretty readable. We found it pretty engaging and comfortable.
Atul Pandey if you ride an RE above 90 or 100kmph for longer duration, no way you'll get 40kmpl. also factor in the money you'll spend on getting it repaired.
Dominar 400 is a modern machine. It has plenty of stuff than RE. Considering, the legendary RE dont have those latest updates. Dominar has top speed, liquid cooled, dual channel ABS, a better suspension. My personal opinion would be Dominar.
its nt like that Abhay , you did a good job ! I told so bcoz kartikeya is more used to doing bike reviews and he is a more hardcore biker so It would have been a good idea to include him also.....
Dr. Harsh Chapadia. Abhay is one of the best stunt rider in India and comparing him with Kartikeya as a rider is like kid's tinkering. Kartik is a senior and mature reviewer for sure but give both of them a bike on a back road, you will see what an avid biker really look like...
Hey rio0045 and Dr. Harsh - Thank you so much guys. It's fantastic to see that you guys like Kartik's and my work so much. Kartik and I are continuously working towards offering you the best reviews and options about motorcycles. We're both bikers at heart and love motorcycling like few other things. Cheers to biking! :)
Abhay Verma. Dear Abhay, I know you from your start of your motoring days and I know how much of an enthusiastic rider and a pro stuntman you are. I get delighted seeing you delivering these beautiful reviews now a days. Kudos to you coming of age and looking forward to your forthcoming test rides.
Thank you Mohit! Since this is a new product, we will have to wait to see how the Dominar ages over time - that said, I can tell you that Bajaj's build quality has improved a lot over the years, and the Dominar feels well-built.
Mathew Maheo if we go by your philosphy of cc: top speed, then 1000cc one's may end up with something like 500-600kmph? for that sort of speed i guess you either jumbo jets or fighter planes :P
sir in my book it is best in term of fuel economy, legacy, resale value (bajaj bike is very poor in term of resale value) and most important its time less retro looks 😊
yash saxena yes the best bike if you are ready to compromise on performance, durability, reliability, handling all that makes it feel pricey for what it has on offer, or else only for price:cubic capacity where its fine on paper.
yash saxena yes best in terms of classic 350 vibrations (u have to ride it to feel it and I had the opportunity to ride it on my tour)...poor reliability, fit and finish, poor gearbox (one can hear the gear change from a distance), poor resale value (because it's known for its bad reliability and maintenance cost)
Beast in it's true form. This has to have that wow factor.
nice review.. which location was it shot at..
for touring long distances which bike will u prefer Dominar or TB 500?? md same for city commuting
+Santosh Raikar The Thunderbird 500 makes better sense owing to larger tank, comfortable riding posture and better suspension, although the Dominar 400 has higher cruising speed and features.
Santosh Raikar Go for Dominar 400, Cruising, performance and total control, not like the vibrator 500
ZigWheels how does it behave on the corners???
Higher lean angles are possible??
How the top speed is very less as many reviewers say it is reaching 160 +
Navaneeth Kr Hey! What you are referring to is the top speed on the speedometer. This is the actual top speed achieved on our vbox during the performance test. There's always some error in the speedometer, besides which top speed on a slope will definitely be higher. Our test was done on a flat road without a slope/incline.
+Abhay Verma but still 137 kph is not real too......motorbeam claims d400's vbox top speed of 149 kph.
so there must be some error over here
navjot singh Yes Navjot, there's an error of probably 20 kilos :P If I were about 20 kilos lighter I'm sure the bike would go may be 10kmph faster! ;)
but hey you had an advantage while pulling the wheelie ; ) good review nonetheless!
+Abhay Verma 20 kgs don't cost 10 kph unless you're riding a moped......and d400 isn't one
best review of dominar by an any channel. good camera use. scenes are perfect. voice is best and with subtitle it's just like a cherry on cake. keep it up zig wheels. we are always to support you.
bajaj awesome works on dominar
I hope your channel will cross100K soon..😊

ZigWheels thank u #zigwheels keep rocking
Thank you Sai! Glad you liked the video - and we're trying to accomodate your request of the comparo soon :)
it's an SOHC engine as well like the pulsar 200s using duke 200s engine and not a dual cam set up. Many of the reviews are kind of missing this information.
ranju1729 they missing efficiency figures too
abhiram muttavarapu We're yet to test the efficiency, we will let you know once we get the bike for a full road test!
DOHC setup is helpful for high revving engines. Dominar is the one for cruising so SOHC adequate. DOHC setup will push the prices higher.
does it also have an overheat issue?cause the engind is borrowed from the 390?
Can we expect Dominar 200 / 250 to get launched by next year ?
Nothing can be said as of now. Lets see if they have any plans for it.
Hi Anupam, we're not expecting Bajaj to use the Dominar brand name for smaller products, since they already have the Pulsar brand in the 200-220cc space. Two differently named motorcycles in the same space, for nearly the same purpose would make it confusing for buyers.
does it come with ride by wire technology
@Anshuman Jha No, it doesn't.
i wish to buy dominar whether the sound of engine was like pulsar 200 or how it is differs whether the engine is soft or not whether the pickup of this bike is like ktm duke whether i can buy dominor or duke which is the better one???????
Excellent review.. Just echoed my opinion literally..
My biggest grouse should be the stiff low speed ride quality and hollow bottom end poke n engine knocking..
That added weight makes it feel smooth and cool
Khatarnak bike I love it
whether the exhaust note sounds louder than TNT 25?
I don't like slightly tilted rising position of Bajaj. People likes RE for a reason other than just looking retro. that slight tilt damages spine disk permanently.
Nice review 👍but I waited for kartikeya singhee review 😰
and the red one that i see, where is it ?
Dominar vs rs 200 which is better plzz
No the top speed is 162kmph
+neyhal.b edramimath The maximum speed of Dominar is 148kmph.
If I get chance I can take it to 180Km/h on yamuna express way..!
What about mileage??
if you go over a cliff you can go even faster
Is switching off feature is there in settings

Will you make an review video on All new Bajaj Pulsar 200Ns Fi (2017 model) ,Full Specification and Upgrades on it.
Yes Ashish - we're awaiting test bikes from Bajaj, so you can expect a full road test of the new Pulsar NS200 soon!
Bajaj... improved a lot.
@zigwhees for someone who wants to off-road take a lot of bumps (may be at high speeds too) which tourer is apt. The Dominar 400 or the Mojo 300?
Hi Aditya Patil it's difficult to comment on that without riding both motorcycles back to back, and we're hoping to bring you a comparison test soon to answer that question.
Abhay Verma it would be helpful thanks :)
which is better bike between dominor and cbr 250.. in case of instruments quality, reliability , comfort and digital metre quality ??

Review was really good and up to the point but there was large distraction for me Your Helmet The HJC Rpha 10 :D XD
sanchalesh kadam Glad you liked the helmet so much! And it's the HJC RPHA 11 :)
Thank you for watching the video :)
Yeah Right i was double minded with that 10 or 11
And yes its a Good one :D
Yeah Right i was double minded with that 10 or 11

Ek problem hai bhai exezoxt said ko disc break hai yaar
iam confused between Himalayan and dominar please suggest which is best
AMV CHANNEL dominar dude... Go for it
can anyone explain the Digital Gear indicator?
is DOMINAR 400 is good to buy or 2017 KTM Duke 390 is good to buy
gnana prakash Dominar
u forgot to mention fuel tank capacity .. which is 13 litres
Is it faster than duke 250 ??
How is the fit and finish? And how is the engine which is tuned by bajaj?
Hi VISHNU JITH the fit-finish levels on the Dominar are really impressive. The engine has been tuned well, and it offers good grunt in the midrange.
But bajaj's engine tends to get sloppy over 10k kms compared to their current bike's engine...don't know if dominar's is of good quality parts
We'll have to wait and see how the Dominar ages :)
Mileage kitna deta hae??
i m going to buy a bike
For touring
hill riding
which bike I prefer
Bullet 350 classic or this one Bajaj Dominar 400
Rahul Chandna look into RE Himalayan too..
Rahul Chandna Check for FE which seems lower side for Dominar just 26 kmpl while REs (even 500cc) are doing 40kmpl.
Atul Pandey if you ride an RE above 90 or 100kmph for longer duration, no way you'll get 40kmpl. also factor in the money you'll spend on getting it repaired.

waiting for bmw g310 r
could you please review pulsar 135 ls ?? please please please !!

Dominer is the Best Vibrating Bike of india
Sir top speed is around 150kmph
good review sir
plz comment about the durability
Thank you Mohit! Since this is a new product, we will have to wait to see how the Dominar ages over time - that said, I can tell you that Bajaj's build quality has improved a lot over the years, and the Dominar feels well-built.

vittaldevuni anirudh Yes the Dominar is comfortable and spacious. You shouldn't have an issue riding it.
vittaldevuni anirudh take a test ride.
you legs might get a little uncomfortable..
you should probably push the foot pedal a bit down and a bit back.
Love from 2022 ❤️✨🤞🏼
The voice is very feeble in the middle, background music dominates your voice..
Apologies Joseph! We'll ensure this doesn't happen in our future videos. Thanks for watching!
Will there be RS400?
LuGaRia 911 As of now there's no confirmation on an RS400.
Biggest problem with bajaj bike is... Poor finish quality esp paint..of main frame chassis. I need to regularly check my bike for rust patches.
Are u joking 137 top speed??it goes over 155 easily
Its price is 4.62 lakh in nepal
sri kindly update your self it can reach 160 kmph.

It offers about 30 KMPL on highways.
ZigWheels thnx 😊
ZigWheels thnx 😊

ujjawal choubey How come??
Come on.... my BEAST simply come to 150km/hr
137 kmph really man you dont know to do a speed test ride ..
well, dominar has vibration @4000 rpm. you should have mentioned that.
I see 162 in power drift video
First to see
Poor man's Ducati XDiavel . 😏
D250 over wight under power
So it's about 2kmph faster than the 200NS? Bull crap!!
Mathew Maheo if we go by your philosphy of cc: top speed, then 1000cc one's may end up with something like 500-600kmph?
for that sort of speed i guess you either jumbo jets or fighter planes :P
debashish nair Great sense of humour you got. ha ha. You're a smart one aren't you? I am talking of the top speed here genius.
rajat singh ??
debashish nair maybe you were the test rider?and maybe you chickened out after the Speedo touched 137?
It's a cruiser bike, unlike ns200
classic 350 is best... 😻😻😻
yash saxena that's for men with defective penus....😂😂
sir in my book it is best in term of fuel economy, legacy, resale value (bajaj bike is very poor in term of resale value) and most important its time less retro looks 😊
yash saxena yes the best bike if you are ready to compromise on performance, durability, reliability, handling all that makes it feel pricey for what it has on offer, or else only for price:cubic capacity where its fine on paper.

yash saxena and why is that? the reasons you gave in the comments does not suffice.
mara pass hai
@sajid khan Congratulations for the new bike mate !!

Shit.. I wanted to be the first to comment... :-P
молодцы индусы
