Good evening Wendi. I very much loved your third instalment of your Autumn Fragrances series. I also enjoy the older fragrances too. It was another fabulous video. I am very much looking forward to your upcoming clips, whatever you decide to film. Keep up the wonderful, relaxing and informative videos. :0)
Sorry I am so late to the party. I was saving your videos for when I was in a better mood. It only took a month and a half! 😂 1) Amouage. I’m not really feeling the direction they headed in since Christopher Chong’s departure. 2) Annick Goutal. I have always been so attracted to this brand. I need to get some of their fragrances!
I hope you are feeling better. And I miss the Chong years already... though Meander looks interesting. And Annick Goutal is my ♥️ glad you understand 😊
That was awesome, thank you! I will always call Annick Goutal, Annick Goutal. Love their understated style of frags and for years I only wore AG, rotating between 5 or 6 perfumes. I didn’t own any other fragrances from other brands until more recently. Your older collection of niche is fabulous and I felt like I learned so much. Love Fille de Berlin by SL, to me, I do smell the metallic note and I’m into it. Been soooo afraid to try Chergui, I’ll have fo find myself a decant now.
Chergui is really pretty I think you should pull the trigger! And AG has been around forever and I'm so glad the company that bought them didn't ruin them!
Another great fall list Wendy. I own several Serge Lutens but Chergui is my favorite. I’m so happy to bring out my bottle! It’s too much for me during summertime but perfection for fall and winter. Have you ever sampled Borneo 1834? If so, I’m curious what you think of it?
Oh yes I have Borneo 1834. I have an older bottle and you wouldn't know it but it's an oakmoss bomb. Lots of rich earthy slightly cocoa-y Patchouli with white flowers. The mood is of a silent old growth forest full of mist. It may have been reformulated in the years since but it's a stunner if you like that sort of thing.
Your love of Annick goutal is so darling. I cant remember if you have La couche du diable by SL. If you have, how does it compare to ambre fetiche? You should do a vid on a. Fetiche
Lol I really do love them! I'm spying Ambre Savage at the moment 🤣 I've never tried the SL but imma look it up. And I love that one so much I really should!
My migraine/nausea perfume is BDK's Gris Charnel. It has notes of Cardamom, Fig Black Tea, Iris, Bourbon Vetiver, Sandalwood and Tonka Bean. Not only is it the only perfume I can tolerate when I have a migraine and I'm feeling nauseated , I find it soothing, like it's an elixir. I'm not sure why or what note helps me feel better, but my guess is it's the black tea & cardamon.
Another wonderful list... I do have to say that again I am matching with your choices ❤😊... And yes again some of the houses are not here in Europe. WHAT about a list with rose perfumes for autumn.... There is never enough rose ❤
Hei! I have really been enjoying your fall perfumes! I have also been going back to my older niche scents,or that is, I never really liked Initio and that kind of scents in the first place. So I will be wearing Daim Blond from SL, Passage d'Enfer from L'Artisan Parfumeur, some incense perfumes from Filippo Sorcinelli and Beloved from Amouage. I am also thinking of testing Portrayal. Do you find it to be sweet?
Hi Wendi, have you tried Amouage Jubilation 25 for women? I love that one. My first niche house was also Serge Lutens. I wore Feminite Du Bois in the original Shiseido version prior to SL but because it was then unavailable, I ended up getting a bunch of the Bois series that are no longer in his line. I love those for fall and winter as well as Amber Sultan and Five O'Clock Eau Gingembre. I am impressed you keep all your bottles in their boxes. Julia
@@wendisparadeofperfumes5034 LOL, yes it is! I keep all my boxes, but not all my bottles are in them, so my closet is a disaster of loose boxes in the corner :o(

I’m having fun catching up on your videos!
I finally posted a first impression video. Thank you for your kind encouragement.
Oh congratulations! I will watch and subscribe later. I think it's great you took the first step!

Isn't strange how our chemistries rejected certain things and are soothed by others?

I agree never enough rose! I might do one for winter's season ❤️
@@wendisparadeofperfumes5034 that would be wonderful

Daim Blonde is so beautiful too. And no while Portrayal is a bit rich I don't find it too sweet. I hope that helps:)

Oh Jubilation is filthy heaven. Love that one. The original Feminite du Bois is so pretty too. And I'm not sure why but I try to keep my boxes 😊
