You are a vintage perfume lover! I am so glad! I have a huge vintage collection and I totally agree with you. My all time fav beloved chypre is vintage MItsouko. I will wear my modern and niche perfumes, then when I wear my vintage chypres, it's like listening to a beautiful opera where your eyes almost fill. I swear, there is nothing like a good vintage chypre, nothing! Old lady perfume? Bring it on. Julia

A beautiful opera is right! Nothing compares to those old chypres they truly speak to my soul! When I read a review that says OLD LADY I'm like I gotta get my nose on that fragrance! Love it! Thank you for the note Julia:)

Very enjoyable, thank you. You have given me some new ones to try. I have had Gucci Brown on my radar for a few years. I really need to find a bottle!
I have a very old bottle of No. 5 EdT. I hoped it would have a lot of civet in it, but I do not pick up much, if any, civet in it. Perhaps I need to try the EdC.

The EDC is still really affordable and so gorgeous and not light in the least. And I can't say enough about Gucci Brown if you like that sort of thing:) Thank you for your note:)

I could listen to vintage perfume content all day long. I think it's my favorite topic or category/genre of perfumery. Autumn is when I break out & wear many of my vintage ambers & chypres & heavy hitting vintage formulations in my collection like Diva (Ungaro), Jolie Madame (Balmain), Youth Dew (EL), Opium (YSL), Arpege (Lanvin), First (Van Cleef & Arpels), Explosive (Etienne Aigner), Krazy Krizia (Krizia), Sublime (Patou) and Emeraude (Coty). This year I hope to find a vintage bottle of Dioressence (extrait parfum) of the original formulation created by Guy Robert between 1969-79, and I'd like to get a vintage bottle of Coco (in the parfum formulation), as well as a bottle of Ivoire de Balmain (EDT).

Thank you so much for sharing that list! I love most of them too. If you find that Dior you have to let me know and tell me how wonderful it is! And I have older bottles of Coco -- they are spectacular ❤️❤️❤️

I love Apercu too! And I never thought I would because for me cinnamon is very challenging and not my style at all. Unfortunately I think it might give me hives. At least the sample I have. Ugh!!
I tried Cinnabar at the mall last spring. It was my favorite Estee scent along with Azuree.

Oh no that would be so sad if you couldn't wear Apercu because of allergy!
And OOOHHH I love Azuree. Gorgeous!

Samsara is my fave rave too! Brava--I wish I had that pretty red lantern bottle. I wish Guerlain hadn't changed it, but at least they kept the perfume itself in good working order!

Yay another Samsara person! You're right I'm glad it's still around though I can't come to terms with her being in Mitsouko's bottle.

Exactly! (I will also accept L'Heure Bleue in the bouche-coeur bottle.)

Vintage Samsara is gorgeous. The sandalwood is perfection.
I also love Cuir de Lancôme. I just wore mine last week. I wish I bought another bottle before it disappeared. I tend to hoard mine as well.
My favorite mossy vintage is the original Jolie Madame by Balmain. I wore that last week as well.
I’m so curious about Organza. Not sure if it’s something I’d want to wear now but it sounds promising.
I’m wearing the original formulation of Santal Blush today by Tom Ford (pink box). I love the sandalwood mixed with a fenugreek note which I am not sure is in the reformulated version? This was fun! Thanks for the review!

I know the Lancome Cuir is so special❤️❤️❤️. Unique and gorgeous! I have a decant of Santal Blush and it's somehow tame to my nose. I like it but not enough to pay TF prices for a full bottle. And I have an old bottle of Balmain that I need to decant and test -- haven't gotten to it yet. Thank you for sharing your list I love to see what you all are wearing!

Good morning Wendi. I would like start out by mentioning one of my favourite fragrance reviewers on TH-cam. He is called Thomas and his channel is called 'early greek' (no capitals). He talks about his collection and men's fragrances throughout history and I really enjoy his choices. My personal favourites are generally from the 20th century, but not always. Anyway, he doesn't post regularly and hasn't done for a good year or so, but I used to be captivated when watching one of his videos. He is somebody I could listen to ad infinitum and he speaks in a very cultured and knowledgeable fashion on his fragrance collection, and fragrances in general. He was also very amusing at times. I am mentioning this as I get exactly the same feeling from watching you and hearing you talk about your fragrances. I've only just found your channel but I think you make the most entertaining and informative clips. Here's to part 3... :0)

Hi there! I will have go have a look at that channel that sounds interesting. And thank you for the kind compliment! I know I tend to ramble with my perfume thoughts but I'm glad I've found my people:)

Another beautiful video... Ohhh my dear, this was a video for my soul... I don't have niche... I have only a couple of them one is Josephine by Rance... I am not into current trend with everything smelling like food. Is so strange for me seeing people wanting to smell like an ecler 😂😂😂
