  • Learning to swim is an important life skill. The Town’s Learn to Swim program strives to open the door to a lifetime of opportunities in water through progressive instruction in a group or private setting. Our year-round program specializes in teaching all ages and ability levels, from toddlers to adults, following a continuous curriculum developed to ensure swimmers learn the skills and endurance to be safe and confident in the water.
It's important for everyone to know water survival skills as well as how to swim. While swimming lessons can't eliminate the risk of drowning completely, they can keep everyone safer around water and help to prevent tragic water accidents. This video is an age-by-age guide on swimming lessons for kids and adult, including what to look for and what to expect.

I just started swimming classes at age 42. The 16 year old instructor told me to front float right away. I cant even put my head underwater without panicking, forget floating. Your lesson was helpful. I will try all the breathing techniques when I go for my lesoon today. Thanks

Wow a such great coach and skill intruction. I can't imagine to meet some one training like you clearly and be understand every thing without being in the pool. I'm beginner and fear deep pool. Is the pool they have to train us. The coach aroun the pool all the time. The dasen't given me instruction to breathe.
I just choise to go lear with a personal trainer, just how i learned to breathe and how to no dring water in the pool, get more selfconfident and relax.
so when a got with my group in a month i diden't advance nothing yet in that deep pool becouse i feel fear to swim 25m alone even i have some float element who's the diden't teach me how to use it. Becouse i was incorporate more late that the other student, so every one have different level. after saw my team beginner swing i saw they are doing wrong way so i dont want do like them that given sore neek and shoulders.
Thanks so much with different people. I think i will improve now waching your video.

Amazing content! Thanks for sharing! I also believe we all can swim, the trick is speeding up getting comfortable in water. That's what we do with "How to Swim 2.0" It's never too late and it shouldn't have to take dozens of visits and hundreds of dollars to get comfortable in water and deep water. See you in the deep end.

Don’t lift your head up like a periscope in a submarine!
Practice breathing side to side with that 9 o’clock to 3 o’clock technique coach Vadit teaches.
Once you are comfortable with it, you will notice that the legs don’t sink that much, rest is mindfulness
