  • How to use the grip - Grip biomechanics. Let´s look at how to use the grip in badminton. The grip is one of those things that you need to master, but how to use it correctly. I show you wrong and correct ways on holding the forehand grip, the thumb grip, the grip position and the grip rotation direction. The badminton grip is always in focus, especially the badminton forehand grip and the badminton thumb grip.

    You can seen the muscles of the forearm used in badminton on camera. The world champion has these muscles well-developed on his right arm!

    When I smashed, my grip usually changed from the standard forehand grip (index above thumb) before contacting the shuttle to a fist after contact. Is it supposed to happen?

      Yes a little bit is fine when you tighten the grip🤩

    Hello sir could you please tell me that we should keep the grip loose until when?I mean just before hitting the shuttle we should tighten and again loosen during prepartion of next shot and tighten before hitting and so on ?
