But those three are in a class of their own, truly. I don't know anything about Nolan, but the dude REALLY outdid himself on that project. It's like the LOTR trilogy of comic book characters.

Hans HAS to be provided with character details or watching the daileys while the movie is being made because the music is always so in tune with the characters and scenes in which they are used. That is a gift to be able to transform people into music form. If Bruce Wayne was a composer / pianist, this is what he would have composed coming from his truth and life experience.

Just remember this music is from a movie based on comic books! Nolan brothers elevated that genre to a new level and Hans Zimmer did it justice with his brilliance. Amazing work of art.

The power and the emotional impact of the lead singer's voice and the orchestra are unquestionable. Nevertheless, for me, the last seconds are the most melodic and intense moments of the song (starts 7:50 min). Simple piano notes after that hurricane of music, just perfection. I know that you will never read this, but I really need to put it out there: Thank you, Hans Zimmer, for sharing your art with the rest of world, and for all the moments of retrospection and thinking that your music provoked in me. Thank you for sharpening my sensibility to everything around me. It is astonishing nowadays how frivolous and fast people consume information, but it is impossible to hear your music and pass to the next without a tear in my eyes, or chicken skin. Your music consumes us, not the other way around! And that is how I know that I am hearing art! TY for making movies more wonderful than they already are. Last, I will be waiting for your next stop in Portugal!

No the problem is, her singing is overshadowing the Jesus cello and violin prowess. It should've been less louder, less potent, and more balanced. If possible, it should've been more nonexistent.

Hans Zimmer is the greatest composer in Hollywood. He provided the perfect dark tone which Bale and Nolan needed to turn Batman from a saves the day superhero to a dark, gritty and serious character.

As a movie lover when I I watched Micheal Keaton's Batman in 1989, I knew who would be my favorite superhero..
He does not have superpowers naturally, the only virtue which makes him rise above the rest is that the willingness to do good inspite of insurmountable obstacles...
Christopher Nolan, Bale, Zimmer, Ledger, Oldman has left us a masterpiece for centuries to remember...special mention for the Mongolian artiste in the concert.....
Hans Zimmers music is so powerful and on top of that Mongolian woman's voice made it so beautifully powerful i cried heavily.

We like to throw the term "artists" around when we listen to music or see videos. Arianna Grande, or Katy Perry...ect, ect. To me, this is true artistry in music. These are the real artists. This genre of music is the very breath of music.

You re right LTG22, any modern Superstar, they will be forgotten in several years, but masters like Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Shostakovich, Horner, Williams or Zimmer will be played for centuries because of one thing. The voice of Uyanga Bold is truly epic and hunting. Her voice infuses feminine energy into a film score full of muscular energy.

If there was ever a chance that Hans Zimmerman never pursued music in his past then I think BY FAR we all would be at a extreme disadvantage. I still hear his stuff at random because of TH-cams algorithm and my music history. It would be a song I never heard from him before and I would stop my to do list of chores and pull up the song and see it’s one of his and not at all be surprised. 😮😊
If I ever won the lottery I would book a whole orchestra to play the music for the dark knight while I watch it in a theatre alone on a giant projector. It would be the dream
