Clone of the Leatherman Wave. I do like mine. Swiss Tech has gotten my attention and I have purchased several of their knives and multi tools, battery power packs, flashlights, head lamps, etc. but I am like that, once I find something I like I tend to be loyal with that brand. One thing they make that I don’t like is their backpacks. I have bought two, and not too impressed with the stitching. Otherwise I have been happy with the brand. As always, great review George!
Looks same as my leatherman wave except color and steel. I think I like color of yours better. Yours $20 cheaper than mine and I bought mine 12 years ago. My tiny screw driver I can pull out and switch from flat to Phillips. Have a good rest of your day
Good question in they description they just say the blade is AUS 8. They didn't say what steel the tools were. I'll have another look. Aporiciate you watching, be safe
Now you tell me....lol. not being a multi tool person I was surprised at the price when compared to othets...did not think of clones. Br safe my dear. Hope all is well
Lol..I am not really a multitool guy. I kept it on my truck. Used it for some small tasks. Changed license plate etc. Worked fine. My brother saw it and stole it. He loves it. Said yet to fail
These seem really nice for what they are, but this multitool is a knockoff of the Leatherman Wave, and their knife you reviewed is a knockoff of the Emerson A100 which leaves me wondering if they make anything original at all or just take other peoples designs. Oh well, if its good, its good I guess.
@@2ndchancegeorge Oh I wasnt judging or anything, just making observations! The Wave and A100 are really good products and if you can get anywhere near that quality for a fraction of the price I would absolutely pick them up myself. Sadly walmart is not accessible to me and importing would drive up the cost like crazy.
@@2ndchancegeorge Norway, where everything hits the market 1 year after the rest of the world and importing is 20 dollars in transport, 25% VAT and 10-20 dollars worth of clearance fees on top. I did stay quite a bit in the US and still have some friends there though, maybe I should convince someone to send me these? Anyway really like the channel and how down to earth you are. Also super impressed with your freehand leather and woodworking!
👍 Excellent review of what appears to be a good product at a budget friendly price. However, multitools with “inboard” tools use an antiquated design. There is NO reason while ALL tools cannot be “outboard” and locking IMHO. 🤷🏻♂️
Decent multi-tool at a decent price.
Good stuff, George!
👊🏻
Thankyou sir. Be safe
A great alternate to Leatherman. I own a Swiss Tech keychain tool with pliers, Philips and flat screwdriver, very well made. Thanks George!
Yep priced right. Be safe out there

Does the other swiss tech company, you mentioned make multitools aswell?
I believe they do. There are a few of them making everything from Knives to luggage. Thanks firvwatching. Much appriciated
Are all the tools 8cr13 steel or just the blade? For the price, i find it hard to believe they've upgraded the steel for all the tools
Good question in they description they just say the blade is AUS 8. They didn't say what steel the tools were. I'll have another look. Aporiciate you watching, be safe
50 bucks, the Letherman wave clones for 20-25 bucks are really hard to beat.
Now you tell me....lol. not being a multi tool person I was surprised at the price when compared to othets...did not think of clones. Br safe my dear. Hope all is well
Yep, a multi-tool would probably be a little more efficient for me at work vs a pocket knife, but I love my knives just a little bit more:) HA!
I hear you. Be safe
Do you actually carry it and se it?
Lol..I am not really a multitool guy. I kept it on my truck. Used it for some small tasks. Changed license plate etc. Worked fine. My brother saw it and stole it. He loves it. Said yet to fail
The top of the file has that little scoop. That's how you can dehook a fish
