The thing about salah is, when we signed him some of the fanbase only remembered him from Chelsea. Scores 30+ goals in his first season and gets called one season wonder. We’re now 7 seasons along and he’s still our most productive forward. Where he pisses some off is missing the odd terrible sitter and can be head down greedy! But to question if he’s finished is only pushing the agenda of cashing in on him in the summer.
Problem with that "top 6" table is that all the nasty VAR decisions came in those games. We actually should have 12 points and be top of that mini table, not bottom and ... we have at least 5 more points, ARS + Citeh have 1 less each, we are ahead of them by 9 + 8 points respectively, and this league is already ours. Done and dusted.

In other seasons we were grabbing loads of points against the top 7 but dropping silly points against the rest and we would then say, if we got more points against them teams we would win the league. Thats what this season is, dropping points against top 6 and cleaning up the rest. Hopefully it will be enough, its in our hands now

I would like to thank Drifty and Roy Keane for validating what I have been saying about Haaland. For Haaland is a good footballer at doing one thing, I feel it's made easier at being at a club like City, where he's asked to do only that. I feel if Harry Kane gone to City, we would be seeing better numbers and assist he good goalscorer but as a player he's average. That's why I cant get on board with him being in Balon dor talks, just seriously, if he doesn't score goal in a game he is literally non existent. Now I know that there's Pep tax, coz he always nullifies players' exciting attributes, but Drift is right. Lukaku is a better player overall than him.
Mac got 10 goals for Brighton last season in the prem and won a World Cup. He weren’t even supposed to start in midfield for Argentina cemented his place in that Argentina midfield world class

If you watch Salah miss an early chance or two and smile he is being complacent. He is underestimating his opponent because he feels he will get many more chances. Against City, United or Arsenal he looks serious when he misses because he fears them more. When Mo smiles after a miss be cautious

Salah just had a poor finishing game. it happens. all the best forwards have games or patches like that.
For me, the big six record becomes irrelevant, once all the teams in a title race have played each other. At this point, City, Liverpool and Arsenal have all played each other. This for me is the point where what you do counts. You don't face your rivals to make up for any mistakes, so the games that matter are now. It's pointless from this position to lose the league and say its because we didn't beat Arsenal or City at home. All you can hope for after playing your rivals, is that your destiny is in your hands. Right now that is the case for Liverpool so we don't need to look back. It's simply a 9 game league now.
We would be 9 points clear with 9 games left if not for VAR - let that sink in
Haaland is a good finisher albeit misses some sitters but in terms of what else he offers, he done a nothing at Anfield and did nothing in 2 games against arsenal.

I know most LFC fans are salty at the min with the xabi news but to say his holding out for Madrid is disingenuous the guy is doing what's best for his career and that is to get experience for himself at the best club possible right now and he sees that in Leverkusen yes his done well so far but it's still very early in his career he will have many years two decades plus at least to manage lfc one day if his and LFC paths cross again. Carlo contract ends in 2026 not next season btw guys for everyone keeps saying his holding out for madrid

Just my opinion but I think Salah and Diaz will go and rightly so, Nunez will get one more year with gapko and they will get moved on to simply not good enough sorry to say. I would keep Salah personally but we need to money to rebuild the front 3.
